A very quiet and as the named implies comfortable hotel and warm. Could not hear any noise from other guests. Well kept and presented with friendly reception staff.

Main lights in bedroom are leds and are too bright when you first get up / go to bed at night. Desk lamp OK but too dull. Breakfast was continental which was fine but no cooked breakfast available. Sometimes no staff down in basement to log you for breakfast or see if things are OK. Pretty much left to your own. Some background music downstairs might be a good idea too. However these things mentioned are only small concerns as hotel was very pleasant.

I traveled with my sister, we had tickets to the theatre, so this place was chosen by the location around that theatre. I was very happy, because the location was wonderful, very close to the Victoria couch station and tube/train lines. Buckingham palace, Big Ben and London eye were quite easily reached just by walking. The room was clean, cosy, affordable and just like in the pictures. Next time I'm in London, I'm definitely coming back to this place! Highly recommend :)

Great location and a very short walk from Victoria station. The hotel is welcoming and friendly with lovely (24 hour) reception staff and an impressive housekeeping and maintenance team. I had a very minor problem with my shower and Sal who happened to be in the corridor & asked me how my stay was going, fixed it on the spot. The guests were a mixture of ages and nationalities and the atmosphere (created by the reception staff)was friendly.

The breakfast room was in the basement and a little gloomy. I had to walk through it in order to reach my room and it could be a little untidy at times.

Location was excellent. Rooms clean and tidy and had everything you required.b

We did two booking one for one night, one for two nights for 3 people. We rang the hotel and asked if the booking could be linked to save us moving the room having to be cleaned We rang again to check and reconfirmed when booked in. Therefore we not happy when we booked for breakfast to be told we need to pay an extra fee to keep the same room. We explained the situation again later when we were asked again for the extra payment. We were informed that on our first night we had an upgrade Therefore there was an extra cost. Explained we didn't request an upgrade there we were not paying. The whole situation was unsettling and totally embarrassing.

It was in close walking distance, with luggage, from Victoria Station and with all the modernisation at the station you do not need to go far for shops and food. The hotel was basic in terms of facilities in the room, a kettle and complimentary shampoo etc. only. We had a family room with a pull out single sofa chair bed, there was just enough space for us all.

On the whole the staff were friendly with a hello, but they weren't particularly forthcoming with help and information. And the front desk staff were a tale on two halves - one just sat and smiled but only if you said hello, while the second shift at least actively said hello. Missed a few other facilities in the room such as a mini fridge to store basics like milk and maybe fruit and water bottles.

Fantastic location, just down from Victoria Station. Spotless facilites, air conditioning was a treat in the room as it was so hot, also tea and coffee making facilities were a god send.

I did enquire about an early check in and the cost was £40 which I thought was expensive, also when I used the vending machine it got stuck, the staff member just shrugged and said if it falls later he would send it up, I felt he could have given better customer care by looking like he was interested, or getting off his chair to investigate the situation.

Everything was great and met all of our needs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and it was perfect for us. It is a small hotel with 24hour front desk reception, friendly staff*, a lift, free wi-fi, shower in the bathroom, breakfast availability and super close to Victoria train station, subway and coach station. *when I came downstairs early one morning (so as not to disturb my husband who was still asleep in the room), the lovely young man on the front desk offered to get me a coffee. So thoughtful!

I was with my daughter visiting from Australia and we liked how convenient we were to restaurants and the Apollo Victoria theatre, so only a short walk after the show. (We saw Wicked) We liked that there was a receptionist on duty 24hrs. The continental breakfast was varied and suffucient. We don't eat cooked breakfasts. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean and modern.

We were in the basement so no natural daylight, although I was fooled thinking daylight did get in somehow, which amused my daughter as she informed me that the 'daylight' window was a lightbulb behind frosted glass, like a light box. (I didn't live that down!) We had to switch on the daylight in the morning, not quite the same as looking out of the window to see the weather! Perhaps it was because we had a twin bedded room? Looking at the fire escape route we noticed this took us through the dining area next to our room and through the kitchen. If there had been a fire there, how would we get out?

Very nicely appointed, clean, welcoming, excellent facilities in the rooms (TV, tea/coffee making, soap and shower gel, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board and more). Breakfast was fab, great choice of continental pastries, cereals, juices, yoghurts, muffins and donuts, even a pancake making machine, which was very novel!

The beds were a little hard and the room at the front was subject to a lot of noise from the road outside with speeding motorcycles, reversing vans etc during the night, so could do with being a bit better noise isolated.
