A very nicely located hotel on a grand terrace of early 19th century houses where they'd tried to keep some of the period features. The room itself had a very decent bed, a good WiFi connection and a decent hospitality tray, whilst the cleaner had certainly done their homework in the bathroom. Location is excellent if you're coming into Victoria coach/rail station as it's less than ten minutes walk away. There's also a fair few shops close by for getting provisions in as this hotel does not offer breakfast including a corner shop just around the corner, but this is crystal-clear beforehand so shouldn't be a surprise. At the price paid, I expect a few corners cut here and there and just want the basics well nailed down. And that's what I got - a comfortable bed, fast WiFi, friendly staff and a clean room. Budget-conscious travellers are looked after well here.

Not a problem for me, but do note that there's no lift in the property, and the security cards were a bit splenetic when letting me into my room. Soundproofing is a little bit hit-and-miss so lighter sleepers may be best advised to take earplugs. Apart from that, it's more about old furniture that I would expect will get renewed in due course. The basic nuts and bolts of this hotel are very much in good order.

It's relatively close to Victoria Coach Station. Clean and friendly/helpful staff.

The room was SO tiny. The shower was about half the size of an airplane bathroom!

Our flights from the states was delayed and we missed out on a whole London day. Messaged the hotel and customer service assured us QUICKLY everything was still good and welcomed us in the next day! Location was great and near many things including shops, amazing restaurants, and the Victoria station (also noticed many tour busses picked up near the station if you booked any). Room was small, cozy, and ALWAYS so clean. We only used it to sleep and shower because we were out and about all day so it was perfect for us! The staff was phenomenal, so kind, and very very helpful! If we find ourselves in London again, we will be staying here!

As many old buildings have it, there are no elevators and no A/C. However, they do provide fans and they offer to help with your bags! Wasn’t an issue for us, just an observation for people that may need

Jubilee Hotel was clean, cozy, conveniently located, with nice in-room amenities and friendly staff. We enjoyed that it was not a cookie-cutter hotel; that made us feel very much in London vs a bland building/room that could be anywhere. I also appreciated how much detail the website had on the room accommodations. When we got there, the room was exactly as described; also had many hooks on the wall to hang things and multiple electrical outlets. The wi-fi was great.

Not a dislike, but: Americans should read the description carefully so they are not surprised by their own assumptions. The hotel has no elevator; you will be climbing stairs. The room is smaller than a typical US hotel room and our bathroom was much smaller. For some of the rooms, you have a shared bathroom out in the hall. If you're there on a warmer day, you will need the in-room fan, and might want to bring a small extra fan. There's also no top sheet on the bed; it's typically British to sleep just right under the duvet (which is wrapped in a sheet and was freshly clean for us). Once again, we loved Jubilee Hotel and would definitely stay there again; I'm pointing these out as differences so Americans can be prepared.

The staff were amazing, The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was great, and the bed was soft and it was so easy to sleep! Super quiet, I loved sleeping with the windows open and the sheer curtain in front of it in the 50 degree weather ☺️ we had our car broken into with all of the windows shattered sadly but the hotel staff helped us contact the authorities and told us to return the car so nobody would steal it so we appreciated all of the help from the staff during this unfortunate incidence. I would highly recommend this hotel just don’t get a rental car or park a car in the area or it might get the windows shattered :(

Great stay – perfect for city breaks from London! I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is ideal, especially if you're traveling for short city breaks from London, whether by bus or coach, it's incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was exceptionally clean. For an economy hotel, it really exceeded expectations, simple, but very well maintained. The street is calm and quiet, which is a big plus, and the neighbourhood is absolutely charming — peaceful, safe and full of character. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again!

The location is perfect I was near the Victoria station so it was really easy for me to get everywhere by metro and the Buckingham Palace is 20 minutes away by walking. Personally I’m someone who likes to run in the morning or walk so I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, nearby there are some nice coffee places to enjoy breakfast. The staff was helpful too when I asked about some places to visit in London.

The rooms are too small though and I had no drawers to put my stuff, however they keep the room neat and clean and the bed was comfortable.

All the staff we met were brilliant - really friendly and helpful. The location is great. A fifteen minute walk to Buckingham Palace and about 45 minutes into Covent Garden area. We walked back from the West End on Saturday night after a show and it took less than an hour. The hotel, room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Very quiet hotel in a nice area. Was very happy with the (discounted) price I paid through Booking.com. Would definitely book here again.

It wouldn't stop us staying here again, but the bathroom in the bedroom was very small - although there was a toilet and shower. There was also a shared bathroom available if you wanted to use that instead (we didn't).

The location is central. It is very close to the Victoria station, just 7-8 min. Many attractions are not far away, they’re in walking distance. The area of the hotel is very nice and the hotel is in a very quiet and safe street. The staff was very kind and helpful. My room was on the fourth floor and the staff carried my luggage up to there. The room was cleaned everyday and the bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle in my room and the drinks were added up every day. The whole hotel smelled very nice. I had a very comfortable stay and would like to come again. Thank you!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and honestly the main reason I would want to come back and stay here again. They couldn't do enough for us; they were so flexible and so kind. They let us check in early and said we could have a late checkout for no extra charge. They also let us store our luggage with them after we checked out for free. The rooms were small, but very comfortable and clean, which is all we needed. Also loved the little travel miniatures on each bed, and tea, hot chocolate and coffee sachets in each room. The location was great for us and not too noisy at night either. I thought it was a really good price for London and much cheaper than other options we looked at.

No lift (which we knew about beforehand, so it was fine), but it would have been helpful to have one with luggage, and it was so hot (which obviously the hotel can't help!), but if air conditioning isn't an option, then at least another fan in the room might help. Our bathroom was a very tight squeeze, so I actually preferred to use the shared bathroom just a few steps down from our room. This is just a helpful tip if you stay here!
