The location was close to Victoria station and the area was clam and safe. the small lobby was pleasant and the breakfast (included in our stay) was varied, including optons for hot breakfast (full English, eggs Benny, avo toast, truffled Mushrooms on Scrambled egg with bread play some sweet options) as well as a cold buffets with overnight oats, yogurts, fruits, toast, pastries boiled eggs etc. The Harry Potter expérience included an additional breakfast menu with a couple other hot breakfast options, some special coins that could be traded in for snacks at reception plus all of the HP books and DVDs to watch if we wanted to borrow them from reception. We also paid for the HP themed afternoon tea which came with a small pot of dry ice over which we were to pour boiling water to watch it steam but otherwise standard tea fare and underwhelming desserts. An alternate wizarding tea - Cutter & Squidge - The Potion Room, Soho was better IMHO.

Our first room was up 6 flights of steep stairs with no elevator. We switched to a Harry Potter room which was in a dark, atmospheric basement with no window but a door leading to a small dank outdoor space. The decor was appropriate but we were woken up every night around 3am by scrapping and rolling and banging from above (we were right under réception). They did apologize and refund the difference from the "upgrade". I thought this was quite an ingenious way to charge extra for less desirable basement rooms... try it for 1 night if that's your thing but I don't recomment these rooms for longer stays.

Included breakfast was great. The kids absolutely loved the room. It was one of their favorite things about our trip to London. Even my son who doesn’t care about Harry Potter thought it was awesome. The staff was always super friendly and they included fun little things for the kids like gold coins in the room that they could trade in for treats.

The room was incredibly dark. It was hard to find our dark clothes in the wardrobe because you just couldn’t see anything. There were little things that needed to be maintained a little bit better. For example, the lock on the bathroom door had fallen off and was sitting on the countertop. There were gouges in the wall and paint scraped off that clearly had been like that for a while. There was no towel rack for a hand towel in the bathroom or next to the shower so you had to put your towel on the floor. The room could’ve been cleaned better. On the first day I noticed a fake nail on the floor and half of a kinder egg under one of the beds. Neither of those things were cleaned up in the five nights we were there.

Fun Wizard Chamber Room for 5. Entry through bookshelf was unique along with candles on stairway down to basement room. Red Curtain Beds comfortable beds and pillows, and the room was cute with a fireplace, stained glass windows and arched doorway to separate bedroom with no door. Silver and gold coins in red velvet bag were fun to choose a chocolate frog, fudge, wizard chocolate bar or chips. Good Breakfast and second morning when had to leave early, they were very accommodating arranging for toastie ham cheese sandwiches and yogurt to go even in the middle of the night. Great location in Victoria for transportation and sightseeing.

Cute concept but did not meet up to the Magic expected or the expense. The room is very small, dark, and a little worn and dirty. There is nowhere to put clothes when you shower. Wish Staff would have been more welcoming and engaging with conversation when we arrived. I expected them to take us down to our Wizard Chamber Room in the basement of the hotel to enhance the Harry Potter experience and surprise. Going down alone did not make it special. The room was very dark and small.

Lovely property, comfortable room with very nice linens and stylishly cozy decor. We also liked that it was close to Victoria Coach Station, because we had to catch a Cunard chartered coach to Southampton. There are good restaurants in the area, which includes picturesque Elizabeth Street.

There’s no elevator — but that’s because it’s a historic, listed property. However: We requested a room on the first (meaning second) floor front, meaning only one flight of stairs, and the staff always helped with getting our bags up and down the stairs. Overall there was nothing really to dislike!

I was very nice small hotel, 5 minutes from Victoria station. Staff were nice and helpfull. Room was nice and cosy, big and comfy bed. Bathroom small but nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious, even though we only had continental. I wanted room on the lower floor and they gave me one on second floor, so it was great communication with reception. I would definitely stay here again.

Maybe some minifridge would be nice. Even though we turned on the heating, it was quite cold in the room in the evening and in thr bathroom wasn't any heating, so it was cold there too (on September). Afterall we had great stay.

Geographical location, Very good breakfast and the Wizard Potion activity, a must do if you are traveling with kids.

The room a bit small for 4 but I guess it's just London 😄

Truly exceeded expectations! Don't believe the naysayers; this hotel was excellent for the value. Clean, walking distance to transportation and Buckingham Palace (about 18 minutes), lovely atmosphere. We stayed in the triple room and, wow, was it larger that European standards! We had more than enough space for the three of us. The room was quiet as well; based on other reviews I thought I would hear people in the other rooms or walking around. But not at all. We didn't include daily breakfast in our stay but did pay for breakfast one morning and it was yummy as well. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

Nothing; all was perfect.

Very nice hotel close to Victoria Station, making it easy to get into central London in about 30 min. Their Harry Potter themed afternoon tea was excellent and we highly suggest getting the potion making class. In addition the Wizarding chamber very cool and absolutely worth it for anyone travelling with children or other Harry Potter fans.

As often the case, water pressure was poor in the shower, heating was not well-regulated and the WiFi was slow.

Everything! This is a lovely hotel that has retained all it's charm. Tastefully refurbished with clever use of space and facilities. The room was comfortable, cosy and spotless throughout the building. The warm welcome at reception was really appreciated and the customer service level never fell below excellent during our stay. The staff in the Pimlico Pantry deserve a special mention. The location was perfect for Belgravia, Pimlico and Chelsea. Victoria Station was about 7 mins walk.

The stairs were a bit daunting but not really an issue if you have no mobility issues.

The location was amazing, and the room decor was stunning, adding that extra bit of magic to the experience. The breakfast was also fantastic, with nice friendly staff. Leaving bags after check-out was great, giving us the change to explore on our final day without the extra loads to carry.

The room was smaller than expected and the show facilities a little cramped, inside a cupboard. The restaurant staff were a little chaotic, others working harder than others and getting stressed picking up the slack. You could sense an atmosphere that morning.
