Great location! Clean and comfortable. The bed and comforter were really welcoming. Helena was very accommodating regarding late arrival.

No complaints. It’s London so the space is small and a little on the cold side. But really, just how London is. This was a great place to stay while visiting my daughter who lives in the Peckham neighborhood of London. A vibrant and diverse neighborhood with great food and lots to see. Off the beaten tourist path which I really liked. Close to all public transportation.

Didn't know we didn't have bathroom in our room. Should have read the details better. It was also very cold in the house when we arrived. The bathroom towels seemed damp, not 100% dry. Room was a bit small for us traveling for a year, so we had a lot of luggage. Host/Helena was very gracious letting us use a room downstairs to store our bags, at no charge.

The area, for us, seemed a bit unsafe. The Main Street was also a bit of a surprise, in a negative way

The room was small but nice and clean, and our host Helena was very helpful. Even though we were staying in someone's home with shared facilities, there was a lot of privacy.

For a light sleeper, the trains passing by and the noise from outside, especially during weekends, might be a challenge, although I was not disturbed by it. The wifi connection could have been stronger.

Peckham is Peckham, and has a much better vibe now than a few years ago. Had been concerned about big city noise, given the location - but neither of us had our sleep disturbed despite being there over Fri & Sat night.

The whole of London was baking hot, but opening the window made little difference unless one also opened the door to the room, allowing a breeze through. That doesn't really work while sleeping :-).

Lovely host and amazing location, peckham is so cool and close to overground. Came for a stay near my brother who lives near the area and would definitely return

My only feedback is the hot water situation. There was a full house and notices everywhere to use little water because the tanks were small and limit to 1 a day. I understand the reality of this situation but I felt stressed each shower and spent just 5 mins to make sure there was enough hot water for my friend :/

Warm welcome, on street parking arranged at a very cheap price, comfortable bed, very quiet and only 5 minute walk to the event I was at. Thank you Helena!

I missed an en-suite but my own private shower room was 2 metres away so no real issue.

Very clean and well organised, lovely host received us and gave us amazing tips! Close to transport (bus and train), and close to nice restaurants and clubs.

Helena was very nice. The location was perfect for what I needed to do. The area is very dynamic. The house is confortable and clean. Helena was a very nice host. I will definitely come back.

Helena served a delicious continental breakfast. The room was small but very pleasant. Helena Host Family is located in a quiet, cozy street with family houses. Walking distance from the main street in Peckham, the Peckham Levels (don't miss Natasha Taheem's mural of Rye Lane on the fifth floor!), Persepolis restaurant, the Peckhamplex cinema and Peckham Library. With good connections by bus and train into the city. I loved getting familiar with the immediate surroundings and my bus rides, with Helena Host Family quickly feeling like a home away from home.
