It’s closeness to Paddington station

To get hot water in the shower we needed to leave it running for at least 15 minutes and the water flow wasn’t great.

The hotel was lovely. Friendly welcome, and staff were lovley. The location was great, 5 min walk from Paddinton and Lancaster Gate Tube Stations, which meant we were literally 15 mins from everywhere. 10 min walk to Hyde Park.. which was beautiful. Would.stay again. Our room was comfortable, quiet and ok. However we were in a basement room, so very compact. Breakfast was tasty, full English, bacon, egg, sausage, hasbrown and beans. Coffee from a machine, was tasty. Orange juice, basic meat and hams and natural yogurts. Mixture of cereals and fresh fruit.

Our room is small and compact, clean and tidy. However, there were a few black marks on the wall, a few cobwebs, and the bathroom door had a hole. The window needs a little WD40 to be able to open a little easier. We couldn't hear traffic, or people, only thing we could hear was the dulcet tone of the tube.. Other wise, the room did the job.. and we were happy.

The neighbourhood felt good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Especially Sergio. He made our stay even more pleasant bij giving us useful information about where to eat our fish and chips, the tube etc. He made us feel welcome.

Great position of the hotel, near two tube stop and just a few steps from Paddington train station. English breakfast was delicious, served every morning between 7 and 9 am. The room was spacious, our was located in the basement and had every confort you need for few days in London. Great value for the money.

I had a fantastic two week stay in February. All of the staff were excellent. So friendly and helpful, no matter what day of the week it was, or what the time of the day was. A special big thank you for the automatic room upgrade on arrival from a single room to a double room. The upgrade was so unexpected but really appreciated, and at no extra cost. The location is brilliant. Walking distance to 3 seperate tube stations and so many sights. Shops, pubs and eateries are all nearby. Breakfast each morning was an added bonus and there was plenty of choice. I was that impressed that I have already booked for another stay in 2026.

There are always some issues no matter where you stay but for the location, pleasant staff, breakfast and especially an upgrade, those minor issues really are just that - minor.

Location is perfect: close to Paddington Station (rail services and tube: district, central, bakerloo, elizabeth lines), close to tube station Lancaster Gate (central line). Close to Hyde Park, midway between Kensington and Buckingham Palace. Full English Breakfast if you want it, any modifications possible. Cold breakfast available from a small buffett. Not a lot of choices, but absolutely sufficient for a few days in the city. There are several restaurants - incl McD for those who need it ;) - and small grocery shops within 5 mins walking distance Room with comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom. Summary: perfect for a city trip to London.

The breakfast room is a bit small, so it could happen that you have to wait for a seat upon arrival for breakfast. Breakfast time is from 7 - 9, so around 8:30 / 8:45 it tends to get crowded. I think it would help if breakfast time could be extended to 9:30 (or maybe even 10). Also because after a night at the theater it would be nice to be able to sleep in a little more . . .

Great central location, comfortable, clean and nice staff, felt safe as a lone traveller, had everything I needed for one night.

I left at 6am to catch a train but the shower was running cold at that time, would have been nice to have a warm shower in the morning (it was fine the evening before, however).

The hotel is in a great location with enough restaurants and pubs near by. It is also located next to a big train station making the train connections around the city very easy. Staff was very nice and helpfull. The room was nicely furnished and clean.

One thing that could be improved is the breakfast. You basically just had a choice of the same english breakfast everyday (which was of medium quality) or some toast with one type of cheese/ham/jam. If you stay longer then one day it becomes a bit difficult to enjoy breakfast. It is also only served form 7 to 9. The highlight of the breakfast was the lady who was working there, who was always very nice and helpfull.

The hotel is in a fantastic location—just a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station, Lancaster Station, and Hyde Park. It's situated in a lovely, quiet area. The staff were incredibly supportive and helpful. I didn’t expect the included breakfast to be so good! There were croissants, cereals, toast, a delicious omelette, baked beans, perfectly cooked bacon, and more. Two wonderful women kept everything topped up, making the experience even better.

However, the cleanliness could have been a bit better. The curtain tiebacks were coming loose from the wall, and there were often bags of linen left on the lift floor, which was always a surprise—we had to move them to get into the lift.

Great location very close to Paddington station and great English breakfast. Most of the staff was very helpful. Room with twin beds.

The curtains would not shut fully to block the early morning son because one panel was falling off of its rod. We had to ask 3 times before they were fixed. They also did not provide a blanket when I asked the morning staff that to switch my duvet for a blanket and a top sheet.
