It’s closeness to Paddington station

To get hot water in the shower we needed to leave it running for at least 15 minutes and the water flow wasn’t great.

The hotel was lovely. Friendly welcome, and staff were lovley. The location was great, 5 min walk from Paddinton and Lancaster Gate Tube Stations, which meant we were literally 15 mins from everywhere. 10 min walk to Hyde Park.. which was beautiful. Would.stay again. Our room was comfortable, quiet and ok. However we were in a basement room, so very compact. Breakfast was tasty, full English, bacon, egg, sausage, hasbrown and beans. Coffee from a machine, was tasty. Orange juice, basic meat and hams and natural yogurts. Mixture of cereals and fresh fruit.

Our room is small and compact, clean and tidy. However, there were a few black marks on the wall, a few cobwebs, and the bathroom door had a hole. The window needs a little WD40 to be able to open a little easier. We couldn't hear traffic, or people, only thing we could hear was the dulcet tone of the tube.. Other wise, the room did the job.. and we were happy.

The neighbourhood felt good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Especially Sergio. He made our stay even more pleasant bij giving us useful information about where to eat our fish and chips, the tube etc. He made us feel welcome.

Nothing. The bathroom was not big but big enough for me

We really enjoyed the stay, the hotel room was cosy and the location near Paddington station is great. The window was oriented to the mews, which was enjoyable because it is quiet and there is some nice greenery. In our room, we had an adapter for continental electrical plugs, a fan and an electrical heater. The hotel staff was really nice and attentive, whenever we had issues (over the nine nights of our stay there were quite a few - needing to borrow an iron, shower too hot, missing plant milk at breakfast, locking ourselves out of our room, key card suddenly not working), they immediately helped us to resolve them. We also had some pleasant chats at the reception. For breakfast, I was able to find sufficient vegan options.

The spaces and furnishing (rooms, staircases, halls, furniture, windows) are quite compact, which I think added to the charm and old-timey atmosphere. Hovewer, if anyone requires a lot of space (such as tall people or with certain disabilities), it would be an issue.

This is my second year in a row that I have chosen to stay at Hyde Park Radnor Hotel B&B and that had a lot to do with the quality that I had received the first year from the staff and owners.And this year was even better because the staff remembered me and treated me and my sister as if we were family...I can't give enough praise to the owners either because there were no little problems with them any and everything that was mention was addressed.They were all helpful with directions, suggestions and anything that would make you stay more memorable and enjoyable...Location,location and location you were near to most everything including the new Elizabeth line and a few underground lines.There were plenty of restaurants in walking distance with a verity of menu's to choose from

I am sorry that they were no longer serving the traditional English breakfast...I was looking forward to it

I had a fantastic two week stay in February. All of the staff were excellent. So friendly and helpful, no matter what day of the week it was, or what the time of the day was. A special big thank you for the automatic room upgrade on arrival from a single room to a double room. The upgrade was so unexpected but really appreciated, and at no extra cost. The location is brilliant. Walking distance to 3 seperate tube stations and so many sights. Shops, pubs and eateries are all nearby. Breakfast each morning was an added bonus and there was plenty of choice. I was that impressed that I have already booked for another stay in 2026.

There are always some issues no matter where you stay but for the location, pleasant staff, breakfast and especially an upgrade, those minor issues really are just that - minor.

We had a large room (Room 2) by London standards on the first floor with a very large bathroom. It was not street facing so it was very quiet. There was a large number of TV channels to choose from. The lift was modern and always in working order. The full English breakfast was excellent with scrambled eggs, beans and English cut bacon (a cross between ham and Canadian bacon) which was not salty at all. There was also all the none hot items ie: cereal, toast, yogurt, cheese, pastry. More than enough to start your day. Staff was very attentive to our needs. The hotel is in a neighborhood location with many restaurants close by (especially our favorite Bella Italia) and Paddington Rail and Underground about two city blocks away. Laundromat (Central Wash) which has updated washers and dryers within a 10-15 minute walk from hotel. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great position of the hotel, near two tube stop and just a few steps from Paddington train station. English breakfast was delicious, served every morning between 7 and 9 am. The room was spacious, our was located in the basement and had every confort you need for few days in London. Great value for the money.

The location was amazing. Very close to paddington station, which made it easy to go around in the city and coming/going to Heathrow airport. The room was enough for one person. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was safe, they lock the door at night so strangers can’t get in.

The room’s window looked at a wall which made it a bit claustrophobic. But I didn’t spend time in the room much so it’s fine. The bathroom was divided in two (one room for toilet and sink and one for shower). And the stairs for the breakfast room was right in front of the room, and some noise came from it. The bathrooms could be cleaned better.

Location is perfect: close to Paddington Station (rail services and tube: district, central, bakerloo, elizabeth lines), close to tube station Lancaster Gate (central line). Close to Hyde Park, midway between Kensington and Buckingham Palace. Full English Breakfast if you want it, any modifications possible. Cold breakfast available from a small buffett. Not a lot of choices, but absolutely sufficient for a few days in the city. There are several restaurants - incl McD for those who need it ;) - and small grocery shops within 5 mins walking distance Room with comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom. Summary: perfect for a city trip to London.

The breakfast room is a bit small, so it could happen that you have to wait for a seat upon arrival for breakfast. Breakfast time is from 7 - 9, so around 8:30 / 8:45 it tends to get crowded. I think it would help if breakfast time could be extended to 9:30 (or maybe even 10). Also because after a night at the theater it would be nice to be able to sleep in a little more . . .
