The staff at the hotel was really helpful and nice, the location was good, close to restaurants and lots of shops, during the daytime the area was active but really calm at night and far from the main touristic area of the city, which is perfect for staying in a more relaxing environment than the center, the room was relatively spacious and had enough space to be comfortable

The only negative would probably be the bathroom, which looked pretty cheap and small for a hotel at this price, otherwise the view was great

Staff were great, location to public transport was very good, bed and pillows super comfy, bar choice, drinks and food was very good and staff very helpful. There was no noise from outside that we could hear. Good breakfast selection.

Long queue for breakfast (we went down at 9:30ish), however the gentleman greeting everyone dealt with some rather rude customers very well and stayed professional and polite. One bottle of water in the room wasn’t really enough but understand the reasoning with environmental impact of plastic and water stations were available on various floors. Stubbed my toe on step up into bathroom, but learnt my lesson after the first time!!

Location just perfect. Canary Warf Tube station near by with shopping mall - the West India Pier great for a stroll - not crowded at all, very relaxing Breakfast buffet is great, in-house Restaurant Manhattan Grill excellent.

Hotel is rated 5 stars, sorry but that is overrated. 4 stars will do. Rooms need to be refurbished soon. They have the touch of early 80s. In our double room there was only one pair of slippers, no bathrobes, no amenity kits, first day the room wasn‘t made up when we returned at 4pm (small issues but they matter at this room rate)

The room was very clean and comfortable, we had room service for breakfast which was lovely but the best part was we didnt have to check out until midday which is so rare nowadays means we could take our time. When we got into the room we found our kettle wasnt working we informed the hotel who had it checked and replaced very quickly

Room was excellent - great size and perfect temperature. Large bed and very comfortable. The guy working behind the bar was excellent as was the guy on the front doors who welcomed us and saw us out the next day.

Check in was absolutely ridiculous. I had two separate confirmations from Bookings.com, an email from the Marriott and we had already paid for the room yet I was asked for ID to prove who I was. It became a problem as I also didn't have the credit card I paid on due to it expiring between booking the room and staying there. Just a totally ridiculous situation as nowhere did the booking confirmation say ID would be required and I would understand if we hadn't paid for the room, but we paid for it months in advance.

After finding no concierge when I arrived and having a fellow lady guest carry my case up to reception I wasn’t happy. But Antonio (I think that was his name - a Romanian) - was so helpful and friendly whilst remaining professional that it cheered up my arrival.

Breakfast in my room was cold and not nice. I ate the two eggs and a few bites of the overcooked bacon but left everything else. No value for money. I didn’t like the fact that I had the DLR right outside my window.

When we first arrived we were greeted straight away by concierge and asked us for the booking name and asked if we were staying for the show, which we were. I expressed how unsure we were about getting there and immediately he replied with how we can get there via tube and Uber boat. Absolutely amazing. Check in was extraordinary and Tom was absolutely amazing and kept us informed during the whole process. The room was absolutely amazing with a water view and close to many attractions. We had breakfast in the morning with so many different foods to choose from, including English breakfast, continental breakfast and fruits and pastries. The whole experience was absolutely astounding and we will 100% be returning often.

There was nothing I didn’t like the whole experience was amazing and there is nothing I would change. We will be returning soon.

Breakfast was good, to be excellent they need to invest in some quality sausages and bacon. The selection was wide, slightly disappointed with the pancakes as they come out of machine. Service was excellent from all staff we encountered. Room nice and spacious, cleaned to a high standard, loved the extras such as the expresso machine in the room.

Checking in was awfully long and after a journey to get there, the last thing you want to do is take 20 mins to check in.

Very clean and friendly. When we checked into the room we found that the tv wasn’t working. This was rectified by the hotel engineer very quickly.

I didn’t like the fact that when booking on the app the photos are very misleading. I thought I was getting a room with a view of Canary Wharf but no. The view was an enclosed court yard! Which is a roof of another part of the hotel. When you’re paying £170 per night, and we were staying 2 nights, Very disappointing.
