The room was very compact and basic but in a very convenient location, clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and didn't use the shower, but it looked TINY. I imagine it would be a struggle for an average height/build man to turn in the shower. The property was ideal and perfect for me and my daughters to stay for 1 night as we just needed a clean and safe place to sleep. It was very near Hyde Park where we were visiting Winter Wonderland. It was only a few minutes walk to the high street, too.

I was a bit nervous with the narrow stairs up to the room. I always check the escape route in case for fire, and I felt I wouldn't have much chance of getting out should there be a fire in the floors below as there was only one exit to the ground floor. I would have had to get out from the back window to another building. I know I might be very weird to leave such comment....

Excellent location. Minutes from Oxford Circus and Bond Street tube stations. Several restaurants close by and appeared very popular. Good value for money.

The stairs to reception are very narrow and very steep. Luckily I was accommodated next to reception so I only had one flight to negotiate but Room 15 is the only room at that level. More stairs to the other rooms. I would have struggled. Should be considered for anyone with mobility issues.

We were pleased with the location and knew that there would be stairs. When we got to the top of the stairs we weee pleasantly surprised with our family suite. The staff member at reception was friendly and we were able to leave our luggage.

We were disappointed that there was no fridge, however, when we mentioned this as we were leaving were were told that there was a fridge and a kitchen ‘but we needed to ask’ it was in a locked room in our suite! The other thing that was tricky and would be good to know in advance is that the reception is up a long flight of stairs too.

Host was excellent. Very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was massive. We wanted it for 3 of us. It could sleep 6. It had a fridge & small hob. Shower and toilet were in 2 separate on suites. The shower was lovely and warm had strong pressure therefore very relaxing. The place was very clean and all beds were comfortable. It really was quite a luxury. It was also located in a lovely square in Central London with bars downstairs and in the square. When in the room, though only one floor up, it was very quiet at all times. I know this all sounds too good to be true but it was and we felt spoilt. I booked the hotel and I am now very popular. The smallest thing was the stairs. It was one flight but was made good in it was split into 3 separate small stair cases that my 84 year old mother had no problem with. All a brilliant experience. We will be returning. Thank you.

Not much really. Slight staircase but split into small ones that were easy for my pensioner mother to climb

The room was much roomier than anticipated. Bright and airy. Had a twin room - which also had a sofa (sofabed), and a small dining table & chairs. Tea & a kettle. Nice bathroom, with fab shower & plenty of hot water. The staff were pleasant and helpful once they appeared. I had forgotten to take some form of photo ID - but I was allowed to email it through. Wifi was good. The hotel is tucked up in a lovely little back street, not far from Bond Street Station - so it was close enough to get to anywhere either by tube or by foot.

When I arrived there was no one in reception - ther was a 'back in 5 mins' sign on the door and a phone number - but was a good 10 minutes before anyone arrived. Tried phoning the phone number - several times, but no answer - I could just hear the phones ringing. Hallway was a bit dark and reception was behind an enclosed screen etc., so felt a bit apprehensive as to what the rooms were like.

We stayed at the five people room, on the third floor. The location is great. Sattar was very kind and helped us switching the heater on. The installations are clean, the beds were made every day, new towels… The room was big enough for us 5, the mattress were very comfortable. The bathroom was ok. No mold on the ceilings or walls, and there were no water leaks on the shower. There was hot water and no loss of pressure. The temperature in the room could be adapted and we were very well. The stairs were narrow, no lift, but that’s not a problem if you have no mobility problems. The three children and the two adults were very comfortable here. If we come back we will probably repeat.

There is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage thro the stairs, but that’s a minor problem. Maybe a fridge would be a good idea, to keep some food.

The location was amazing. The staff were very friendly and let us store our bags before and after our check in and check out. The room was quite large as well. The fan provided was great

It was slightly outdated but not a real issue. The key cards can’t be stored near a phone which was annoying because I didn’t have pockets and could only store in the bag my phone was in. We are young and fine with the place but if someone is wanting new and luxury then youll need to pay more for that somewhere else.

The location (a block off of Oxford Street) couldn't be beat; we couldn't hear any of the noise of Oxford, but were close to everything both walking and by Tube (3 min. to Bond Street station). My family's room was spacious and tidy with all of the basic necessities, and we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk on our last day as we had a little time in the city beyond checkout. Also, the price was perfect for the convenient location and what was offered!

Another commenter mentioned stairs. They don't usually bother me, but after hauling our luggage upstairs to check in (1st floor Europe / 2nd floor US), we were told our room was in another building and also upstairs, so we had to haul everything back down the skinny staircase and up another couple skinny (!!) flights. It was fine in the end, but I mention it in case stairs are a challenge to anyone else. A minor dislike was the lack of mini-fridge in the room, and there was very little room for toiletries in the bathroom and shower, especially for multiple people. (Mermaid Suite owners: it would be ideal to add an extra shelf or 2 in the bathroom with this in mind!) Overall, these were minor things and didn't hamper our stay.

No breakfast but found great places locally! Slept 5, we were 4 - adults and children but great value and plenty of room for all! Lots of stairs - 53 I think but all good! Tea/coffee Great location Near tube station and central to shops Bonus was dropping off and leaving luggage before our stay and before our journey home which was really kind!

Nothing not to like! Excellent find and will definitely consider another stay if and when we’re in the city!

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent on a quiet side street, but with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. An easy walk from Bond Street station when coming in from Heathrow on Elizabeth Line. Very central - we could walk to nearly every central London location that we wanted to go. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The price was a bit steep for what you get, but I suppose that is just the price of staying in such a great location in central London.
