I stayed there for 7 days and overall the service and the rooms were good. Staff were mostly friendly which would be expected for a hotel such as this. I had a few uncomfortable encounters with staff from the desk and dining services which was disappointing but I would say the other staff members made up for it. Rooms had high quality amenities and everything was well thought out. Location was excellent also.

The room keys demagnetise very easily if next to an electronic machine such as your phone. I went down a few times to get a new key (which wasn’t a big issue for me) but one time, the guy at the desk seemed annoyed. I was still polite and said thank you when he gave me a new card but I put it directly on top of my credit card and he took it back with no warning telling me I demagnetised it again. I think he was having a bad night but I would’ve expected better. Also for those not living in the US or UK just be aware of the extra service charges and incident fees which is not included in the advertised price.

Wonderful and welcoming restaurant staff, lovely rooms and comfortable beds.

The concierge failed to find us transport pick up from Wimbledon. He tried 3-4 firms but they were busy, he said that we were better off doing it ourselves. I asked if he could work on it whilst we were out, but he said that he had tried all the usual ones and it was not possible. I used Google and quickly found a private company to pick us up and return us to the Langham. I would rather not have used my time for this DIY and couldn’t see why it was not possible for him to do this for us. I was disappointed with this lack of effort. He was happy to do what was easy for him, but not prepared to put himself out.

We had a nice big airy room which was quiet and relaxing. The staff were very helpful.

It is expensive but in London you need to pay more to get something decent.

The customer service at the Langham was superb. From the concierge to the housekeeping. It didn't feel like theer was anything that was too much to ask for. My visit was over Christmas and I was expecting to get a drop in standards secondary to them being overwhelmed as it is quite centrally located, and I assumed the hotel would be packed. The hot was busy but didn't feel like an all-inclusive which is exactly what I was avoiding. The rooms were were lit with exceptionally comfortable beds. Room service was always on time and the standard of food was as good as expected. Noise levels in the room was minimal and whether it's a business trip or a vacation, you are guaranteed a good night sleep. The bathrooms have ample light, and the design is tasteful with a methodical layout. Cleanliness was top notch, and house keeping always did a great job of keeping the rooms pristine. There is a well-equipped gym, which is a good size and would accommodate four people simultaneously doing circuit training, without feeling like you are in each other's way. However secondary to the building being historic (this is good), directions to the spa and the gym could be better as it is a bit of a maze.

Parking is very limnited and quite unsafe unless the car is parked in front onf the hotel. However there is capacity of 3 maybe 4 cars at the front, at a push. This is a difficult challenge as the hotel is so central and I imagine getting allocated secure parking for the hotel is costly. Be aware of leaving your car EMPTY if it is to be parked in the underground parking lot. Ther risk of a break in is very LIKELY.

Christmas decorations are always very beautiful in this hotel. Porters are very good too. They are always king and helpful. Great value for hotel.

Breakfast staff service was shocking this time. No attendance to clean the table or help with anything until we actually complained. Our table was loaded with dirty plates and no one literally came in to clean. Very uncomfortable given we had a small baby. Selection of food wasn’t very exciting either. Only one type of cheese. They don’t offer omelets. Poor selection of bread, fruits or pastry. They didn’t even had walnuts which I normally would it with my yogurt. Only strawberry and some strange compote as a fruit. Nothing fresh. Breakfast was simply not good enough for 5 star hotel. I hope this feedback will help them to improve breakfast services.

The hotel is historic and beautifully maintained. The location was great—we walked everywhere. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The attention to detail is remarkable. For example, individual sweetener packets are enclosed separately in cardboard sleeves on the breakfast table. Never saw that before.

London is an expensive city. The Langham was fairly priced we thought.

The breakfast was EXCELLENT!!! You have an amazing ‘Head of Breakfast’ Chef!!! The food was cooked & presented to PERFECTION!!! The Dining Room staff were superior to other establishments. The Receptionist was delightful & most welcoming as we entered each morning. The ‘Club Lounge’ was a ‘mini version’ of the main Dining Room with the exact attribute’!!!

Everything was a great experience, for we Australians, so far from home.

Easier to say what didn’t I like, we like. Absolutely nothing. This is our home from home in the South. We’ll be back again in another few weeks. We don’t stay anywhere else. Staff are fabulous from the door to any other level of staff they are superb.

Nothing to improve on. You can’t complain at all with the Langham. It is the best hotel in London, has to be.

Despite the hotel being large, the staff go out of their way to make you feel like you’re the only one staying at the hotel. We stayed for two nights and can’t wait to visit again in the future for a special occasion. It’s a beautiful building, very well decorated and maintained, cannot fault it.

It’s difficult to choose anything I didn’t like, everything was amazing. Maybe the spa could have better facilities, for example there’s no jacuzzi, and the steam room and sauna are within the changing rooms. However this, in no way, spoilt our visit.
