We have stayed at this comfortable boutique hotel many times and always enjoy the friendly welcome from the staff who form an efficient and well trained team. The location is ideal for our family visits but for other guests the proximity ( walking distance) of rail and tube stations and shopping in the Putney high street are other recommendations. Rooms and beds are super comfortable and everything always works!! A really efficient hair dryer, independent of the steamy bathroom, for example, is so practical. Another treat for guests are the excellent breakfasts where the choice is wide from delicious prepared fresh fruits to smoked salmon and the cooked Full English- also buffet style - is constantly replenished with fresh cooked eggs, bacon etc A real treat!!

The hotel parking is available and charged but not large, ( so first come, first served) but considering where you are, this is not surprising.

I booked this hotel for my parents who were visiting me in London, & they actually stayed here at 3 separate times over their UK trip. The staff were excellent, & although not in ‘central’ London, I loved that they have a 24hr desk which was really helpful for late check ins. Close to public transport - the 37 & 337 buses stop directly outside & will connect between Richmond & Clapham Junction, & a 5 minute walk will take you to East Putney station on the District line. A 15 minute walk will take you to Wandsworth pier where you can take a scenic Uber Boat/Thames Clipper along the river into the city (pricier, but highly recommend). You have several supermarkets & cafe’s all within an about a 7min walk in either direction.

It’s not necessarily the most convenient location for the average tourist, but if you want somewhere quiet & away from the hustle & bustle of the city then I do recommend this hotel.

The room had everything we needed. Tastefully decorated. Fantastic shower. Comfortable bed and bedding, without scatter cushions- yeah! Scatter cushions just get in the way and spend their life on the floor! Great breakfast with the traditional cooked but also continental with some healthy, modern choices like chia seeds. Check in and check out was easy. All staff very professional and friendly.

I really like this hotel and have stayed many times but I was unaware of the building situation. I was relieved to get a parking space and wondered what I’d have done if not. Hopefully this will soon be rectified.

A leafy street - which is nice, easy walk to Putney High Street. Room had a window that opened (with a security lock) which we prefer to AirCon. Comfortable bed and updated bathroom. Had a small selection of entrees for a quick dinner - which were enjoyable. Hotel kindly stored our luggage during an overnight stay outside of London which was appreciated and ensured that it had been placed into the guestroom on our return. Staff were professional and polite. Ability to sit outside on the lounge chairs in front of the hotel whilst having a coffee is a nice idea - especially if waiting for friends/ transport etc.

It was great to have an inhouse dining option however the dining/ bar area layout seemed a bit odd. We did not have a hotel breakfast - however it looked popular. Due to hotel construction (we assume) a side entry door to the hotel facing the main road/ car park was regularly left open which was we thought from a security perspective was a little unusual (granted we had no issues arise).

On our arrival the staff were extremely friendly, very welcoming and helpful. The Hotel reception was very inviting , we arrived ahead of schedule and the hotel staff very kindly let us leave our belongings and offered to take them to our room for us when it was ready. The room was spotlessly Clean as was the rest of the hotel we went into. The room size was perfect for us. Not too big or too small. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. A very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, with lovely toiletries super shower. Plenty of towels and a bathrobe also ! Facilities in room included TV hairdryer, ironing board tea coffee making facilities. A safe, mini bar in a fridge. There were optional extras to purchase separately like snacks wine and sweets , should you wish to do so. Also air conditioning in the room which we didn't expect and we found very pleasant. We didn't order food whilst there as we were eating out for a special occasion but you are able to order breakfast too. I am not a regular visitor to London myself, however one of my daughters who was another of our party staying over ( there were 6 of us in total in different rooms ) she has stayed here before on different occasions (and in the same room each time as she likes it ) She highly recommends this hotel and I shall be doing the same now too!! I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. There is parking at the front and rear ot hotel although at the moment it's only at the front as they are having works carried out to the rear. This was mentioned at the time of booking so we were fully aware. This didn't cause us any problems as 3 of us were in 1 car. The price was excellent value for money, the location, and the friendlies of the staff all 10 out of 10! Thank you for a very pleasant stay !

Room was very clean, modern and the bed was comfortable! We didn't experience breakfast but we did enjoy our dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our purpose of visiting London was to attend Wimbledon championships so we mainly stayed in the area but we did spend 1 day visiting London's center. Tube access is within a 10-minute walk and the train is closer to a 20-minute walk. There were plenty of restaurant options within a 10-15 minute walk.

WIFI was the only issue we had. WIFI isn't very strong and we kept getting bumped off and had to resort to using our own data at times.

Staff, location, parking availability, comfort and bed size and room size were all excellent. I really liked that we had both memory foam and normal pillows on the bed to choose from. Breakfast was lovely

Our room was above reception and the music being played in the reception had quite strong base and so all we could hear in the room was an annoying base sound (even over the sound of the TV) but in reception you wouldnt have known that it would be annoying guests because it wasnt excessively loud and when we phoned downstairs at 10:30 and mentioned it they turned the music off or changed it immediately with no issue. This is more feedback for the hotel - it would not put me off stay here or even in the same room (42) again because the staff dealt with it so well and so promptly

Modern, stylish, clean. Even the less expensive rooms are very good (I’ve stayed here many times), though spend a little more and the difference is noticeable. The breakfast is exceptional…. But…..

The breakfast room staff have recently become aggressive and almost rude, they seem very suspicious of people breakfasting there, are aggressive in checking names against rooms and are very, VERY indiscreet, shouting out rooms and names to the whole room. Even when you have breakfasted there and given your name to the same staff member three days in a row.

The location was perfect for me, close to the Underground and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood but still very close to restaurants & stores. The entire staff was always friendly and helpful. Classic London hotel except the stairs are wide and gradual and easy to navigate with luggage. My room was spotless. A short walk into Putney provides every, including an Overground station & River Pier.

Bathroom was snug, but very functional. It was spotless and well equipped.

Fabulously warm welcome, swift and efficient check-in process, and personally taken to my room, rather than receiving directions in the form of "it's second on the right past the housekeeping trolley" which is the best that most hotels can manage. A little extra touch in the morning when the receptionist realised that I had been charged the usual £15 for parking but that, as a Blue Badge holder, she said the hotel did not charge; so immediately refunded that. Excellent customer service!

This would have been a 10/10 rating, but for a slip up on maintenance which meant I was faced in the morning with a shower that was spewing water out of the top and over the shower door, so flooding the bathroom flor and rendering the towels less than effective.
