The GPS took us round to the back of the building which was very confusing. Gerry, the host, did his very best to guide us in. We did finally make it and we were very happy. The location was near all kinds of shops and a great restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast the next morning. Gerry showed us how to use the washer and the drying racks in the rooms were handy to hang our stuff and all was dry by morning. If/when we make it back to Glasgow, this will definitely be a place we like to stay again! Oh... and when we left heading to Inverary, he recommended we stop at Loch Lomond Shores. So glad we did! It happened that they were having a food festival on the day we passed through, and we got some yummy stuff!!!

The room is surprisingly spacious, very comfortable, and thoughtfully and beautifully equipped. Everything was spotless and new. There are good views and comfortable chairs to relax on too. Impressive. I booked the room for friends visiting us. My answers are what they told me.

Three flights of steep stairs are demanding for the elderly and impossible for those with most disabilities. But there are helpful handrails fitted all the way up. I’d recommend the place to all my fruends except the elderly and infirm.

A great kickoff point for the W. Highland Way. Easy access to Tesco to get last food supplies, breakfast two doors down, and thorough and complete instructions. Emailed to you the day before explaining how to get in to the property. The owner, forgive me I forgotten your name, is very kind and helpful and enthusiastic about his business..

Nothing that is the properties fault, it’s just near Glasgow and so there’s planes flying overhead and some street noise, but nothing offputting

Gerry was absolutely brilliant with communication, and accessing the apartment was very easy using his instructions for the door code and keys. I booked this room for the night before beginning my West Highland Way hike, and the location was superb...just steps from the train station and the trailhead. Location was most important to me as a solo female hiker. What a lovely apartment, decorated simply but beautifully and so comfortable. The full kitchen is wonderful - although I just used the coffee maker as I was just there one night. It was quiet even though it is on the main square in Milngavie. I highly recommend this property to anyone - especially WHW hikers looking for an amazing start to their hike. Thanks Gerry! You have a beautiful property.

Absolutely Prime location and cozy apartment with a full kitchen. The host, Jerry is an absolute diamond. He welcomed me in person for an early check in and walked me around milngavie and even gave me a lift up to Mugdock park to walk around in the nature the day before walking the west highland way. Oh there’s a boxing gym right across the way as well !If you are lucky enough to score a room here you are lucky indeed!

Fabulous location right on the shopping street, really well placed for the train station and the start of the West Highland Way. Plenty of car parking nearby too. Our apartment was comfortable and warm with a good shower. We slept really well even though it was blowing a gale outside. Kitchen had a hob, oven, microwave, kettle etc. but was lacking a few utensils although we were fine cooking a simple evening meal. We would be more than happy to stay again.

Kitchen could have been better equipped and a little cleaner but not really an issue.

The self check in process was very easy, it is in a perfect location in the town centre very close to the start of the West Highland Way, and contained everything we needed. Also very spacious and good value for money!

I think the decor was perhaps a little basic/not that pretty. But I don't think that's really a problem. Just something that could potentially be improved upon.

The apartment itself was very clean and tidy. It was a good size and the bathroom and shower room were decent sized and spotless too. The location of the apartment is great, being a mere 3 minute walk from the train station. It is within very easy walking distance of a variety of shops and is excellently located to start the West Highland Way or indeed just have a leisurely stroll around the many trails and paths around Milngavie. All in all we were extremely happy with every aspect of our stay and we are already talking about a return visit.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like. We felt that everything was spot on and we genuinely couldn't find fault with anything.

I was visiting family in Milngavie and chose this accommodation because of its central location. The studio was great, spotlessly clean with a view over the countryside. The flat is well-equipped and has a comfortable bed. Accessing the keys was easy. for the price, I thought it was excellent and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Milngavie. It's super close to the start of the West Highland Way, so a great place for hikers. There are cafes, pubs and supermarkets within a few minutes walk.

The owners left us with no dubiety as to how to access the building. Their communication has been outstanding. I've contacted them a fair few times and they always respond promptly. This apartment is clean very well epuipt and THE BEST SPOT for WHW walkers.
