Great city centre hotel. We were lucky enough to stay in a recently refurbished room on the 5th floor, which was lovely. Very roomy with two social chairs to sit at, lots of plugs, and charging points next to the bed and great lighting options in the room. Fantastic Air con worked with the unusual option to open a window if preferred. Really nicely furnished bathroom, heated towel rail, great shower over bath. Mattresses were comfy and bedding so crisp. Room included large TV, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and board, hair dryer, safe, luggage stand, hanging rail and the bathroom was fully furbished with lots of handwash, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and condirioner. Reception Staff were very friendly and the public areas and lift were very clean. There was breakfast served but sadly we didn't partake so cant comment on this option. Would definitely stay again, especially if we had the same room or one on the upper floors! 😊

The bed was actually great as it was huge as it was two large singles pushed together (obviously making the room a twin option also) BUT with the room having being brilliantly refurbished I'd have hoped that a least new divan base(s) would have been purchased as they were squeaking and felt well used! One final point was that the corridor sensor lights could have done with being more reactive as we were halfway down the corridor before they triggered on.

Started with a slight negative but overall quite impressed, fantastic location. The first 'upgraded' room had an off drain smell in the bathroom we asked to be moved which was handled very well but we had to ask for a refund of the room upgrade fee when we left. We thought it was excellent value especially with the included breakfast in nice light conservatory dining area, the staff were really nice and we thought seemed genuinely keen to help with any issues especially the receptionist who helped us move room. We liked being on the 4th floor as there was less road noise, we had a great view! The hotel is being upgraded and rebranded later in 2025.

Stay was great, we were only in the city for 1 night for a show. Central to city centre & used Q car park, which was fab. Check in was friendly & prompt. Room was bigger than expected. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, had great sleep & room temperature was comfortable. Glad windows opened, so could let in fresh air. There was building work we were not aware of, which although did not start until 9am did take the edge of our lay in. Tea & coffee facilities with Yorkshire tea & plenty of milks. Normally hotels use awful tea & you never get enough milks. I would recommend & I’d stay here again.

1. Room The spacious, modern room combined minimalist luxury with a cozy feel, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed and stunning city views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Smart controls for lighting and curtains, plus a lavish bathroom with a rain shower and soaking tub, elevated the experience. 2. Location Nestled in the city’s heart, the hotel offered easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The vibrant, safe neighborhood was perfect for exploring cultural landmarks and trendy spots day or night. 3. Staff The warm and professional staff provided personalized recommendations and remembered details such as my preferred type of towel. The concierge service was exceptional, securing last-minute reservations, Vicky and her colleagues were particularly helpful. 4. Housekeeping Housekeeping delivered spotless rooms and thorough daily cleaning without disrupting my schedule. 5. Customer Help Desk The help desk quickly resolved a billing issue and offered detailed city navigation tips. Accessibility via phone, email, and the hotel’s app, with follow-up checks, ensured satisfaction. 6. Breakfast The extensive breakfast buffet featured fresh, locally sourced fruits, pastries, and made-to-order eggs in a bright dining area. Attentive staff kept coffee flowing and plates cleared promptly.

1. Room The Wi-Fi was sometimes inconsistent, particularly in the evenings, which disrupted streaming and remote work. There was not enough space on the desk to set up a laptop and documents. 2. Location None. 3. Staff None. 4. Housekeeping Very good, however, paying more attention to detail could further improve an already strong service. 5. Customer Help Desk None. 6. Breakfast None.

Clean and well located Complementary tea, coffee and biscuits in the room Good size rooms

Upon arrival the first staff member we met at reception was rather curt and didn’t greet us. It seemed as if they were put out by our arrival as we came before checkin and wanted to store our bags. However, another staff member (a manager, I believe) came along a little later and more than made up for the initial cold reception. This second staff member even allowed us to check in straight away rather than simply storing or bags so this redeemed the experience. In terms of facilities, it would have been nice to have a fridge. The above things are minor and wouldn’t deter me from staying there again or recommending to others

Hotel was very tidy, looked like it had had a recent makeover. Room very nice with a large comfortable bed. USB sockets in the room, very handy. Shower was easy to use, push button, and had great water pressure. Shower and other bathroom products seemed very high end (Soak) and we're very pleasant. Overall, a vast improvement since our last stay there when it was owned by a different company.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, however, people were having to wait for certain things like fried eggs and some of the trays remained empty for a while even when there was still 30 mins left to the end. Don't know if this was an economy drive due to it being mid-week and possibly not many people in. Still, what was ordered didn't take long to arrive.

Great city centre location with Theatre/Concert Hall a short walk away; likewise some restaurants including Casa Italian, which we can thoroughly recommend. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome from the lady at reception. She arranged for us to have a complimentary upgrade to a Superior room which was spacious and comfortable. Although quite expensive at £17.50 overnight, the onsite car park was very helpful especially as it was pouring with rain when we departed ! Buffet breakfast @ £14 had a good selection and the hot food was pretty hot. The breakfast room was a good size, too

Liked being up higher in the hotel as it was so much quieter. Staff were exceptionally friendly and there was parking on site. The lady who was in the breakfast room this morning is always lovely. Hotel seems a lot fresher since it has changed hands. Bed was oh so comfortable.

The shower door didn't seem very secure, room I had originally booked was accessible with a wet room but was asked if I would accept the shower with a slight step, this was fine but the shower door didn't seem to close properly with a big gap underneath it, was wary of using it-so I didn't. Bed connector wasn't connected and was hanging down over the base, had a very sharp edge which could be dangerous if someone walked by the bed in the dark.

Stayed in a Premier room (111) which was spacious and a very comfortable bed. Large screen Tv, drink making facilities, free wifi and even a robe and slippers to use. The staff were very attentative and the lady who was working front of house in the breakfast area was amazing. So friendly and welcoming and even bringing over a custom fried egg to the table. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty. there weren't any car parking spaces to reserve but i was given a 50% discount code to book at the q-park just around the corner which discounted the parking to a very affordable £13.
