Breakfast wasn't included in my booking but the location was perfect for what I needed. The checking in system was so easy and I found River Rooms so welcoming because even though it's managed remotely, I always felt someone was available to offer help if I needed it. It felt safe and secure which is great when you're travelling alone. My room was spotlessly clean, as was the kitchen and when I bumped into the cleaning team the next day, they couldn't have been more welcoming, polite and helpful. I'll definitely use river rooms again.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The location was perfect for our day at Trent Bridge. Communication prior to the stay was really good and made the self check-in super simple. The rooms were clean and well maintained and just right for our overnight stay. We didn't need to use the shared kitchen but it was good to have our own kettle and a selection of tea bags and coffee. Parking was great for us as we were there with early check-in.

I would have rated this higher but we were in Room 1 which is right on the front. It was quite noisy from the road and being next to the main door. The room was lovely and bright but we had to shut the blinds when we in there because there was no frosted glass or tinted windows on the bottom half.

River rooms was in an excellent location, as attending a family party nearby. The range of eateries and shops in the vicinity were great. The room was quite hot and stuffy because of the weather and fan provided was much appreciated. There was a full length mirror, which is always handy. For a short stay there were enough hangers. I would recommend to family and friends for a short stay.

The shower was rather compact and bijou. That said, the shower had great pressure, and the water hot. Our personal preference is two pillows each, there was only one. We also would have liked a hand towel.

Good sized rooms - we had a triple which was a spacious double with table (1 chair) and a small singe, just right for 2 adults plus teenager. Bathroom is small but new and clean with solid sliding-door shower enclosure, modern mixer tabs and decent water pressure, wash room amenities an tea making in room provided. Communal kitchen is functional and well equipped. Room was facing the road, windows not quite blocking all traffic noise. Main disappointment was the misleading communication - listing did not make it clear that kitchen was communal and that a picture ID would be demanded only hours before checkin after payment had been taken, to be emailed as attachment with no encryption or data safety.

I have stayed here before in an upstairs room which was also great, but wanted a home from home feel so I could prepare a meal and sit on the sofa and watch TV or relax after finishing work for the day, and I was not disappointed with the apartment I was allocated, it was spacious and immaculate and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. The location is great for football, cricket city centre or West Bridgford Centre which has loads of bars and eateries. I now live outside of Nottingham and work remotely but visit my workplace once a month, this location is perfectly situated for a fast commute, will definitely be back again.

Our room hit the brief as we just needed a bed for the night. We came down to see Eric Clapton at Motorpoint Marina. The room was more than adequate, clean and welcoming. Lots of thought put in to guests’ needs. Lovely modern kitchen provided upstairs if you want to cook. Or there’s Wetherspoons on the corner and Waterside Kitchen just a few hundred yards away. The rooms are beside the cricket ground and near the football too. My husband said it was perfect for when he goes to either. Excellent value for money too.

Location and facilities. The kitchen was great.

The third bed wasn’t made up when we arrived. However we managed to resolve this fairly quickly, thanks to the out of ours contract. We were disappointed that this occurred. NB our room was changed on the day to a better room which was great, however if we had been given the basement room we would have been very disappointed as there was no indication when booking that we were booking a room with no windows etc. I think you should make this clearer when booking.

Although quite small the room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, finished to a high standard and the water power was really good, which is not always the case with multi-occupancy accommodation. There was a desk and chair and multi charging point incorportated into a bedside lamp, good hair dryer, bathroom toiletries and really well stocked tea/coffee/milk drawer. Although we didn't use the shared kitchen it was large and really well equipped with everything a guest could need. I was impressed with how secure the building felt as guests are emailed a front door code and code to open the room safe located in the hallway in advance, plus the room had a laminated A4 sheet with contact details for emergencies and any issues, plus useful local information. The host, Garry, always replied to any queries I had prior to the stay promptly, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in the area. Really excellent accomodation for a one or two night stay and brilliant value for money.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, we had a great night's sleep with no noise nuisance from other guests. The only thing to flag up perhaps is that a larger person would find the shower cubicle rather small, but this is not a complaint.

Parking and access although with key codes (no host on site) was fine. The room/bathroom were clean and comfortable, nice firm bed, everything you need including toiletries/tea and coffee. We didn't use it but the kitchen on our floor was very well equipped and if I was staying again this might be an option for breakfast/supper. As with the rest of the property kitchen was clean and tidy. It's very well located for Trent Bridge sporting venues and there's plenty of buses nearby to get into the city and the station.

Because it's so well located it's on a busy route into/out of the city so traffic noise starts early, but there's not much you can do about that, window was double glazed and that helps. We were in room 6 and I'm not sure what's above it but it sounded like a small family of elephants were moving furniture from the early hours. Not much anyone can do about this and it wasn't worth complaining about but you may want to try and swap rooms if you're allocated this one!

The property is in a great location and easy to find and access. Plenty of free on site parking. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Not far from town centre by public transport or taxi.

Despite having noted quite times we were woken up at 1:30am and again at 4:25am by other people shouting in the building as they made their way to their rooms. Not the owners, fault but just a lack of consideration of others occupants. Staircase very steep and narrow, not an issue for myself and my companion but worth pointing out for other people.
