Staff were fantastic and so helpful. Spa facilities were brilliant and nice and clean. We had food one evening in the restaurant and it was really great and huge portions! Nice selection at breakfast and poached eggs on request were perfectly cooked. Room was lovely, we had a small double, nice and clean. Parking on site was a plus. Great location, bus stop right outside the hotel with regular buses into the city centre, and an easy walk into West Bridgford centre where there was a great selection of places to eat and drink.

No hooks/pegs or anywhere to put a toiletry bag in our en suite (double room). Coffee at breakfast wasn’t the best.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot English breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable. Location is excellent, with bus stops to and from town immediately outside the hotel. The bar area and restaurant facilities (where we had dinner on the Saturday evening) were attractive and welcoming, and the food excellent. Service was first-class.

As a frequent business travellers we were surprised that there wasn't a safe in the bedroom, nor private safety boxes at reception. A second chair in our (double) room would have been appreciated. For those not wanting the cooked breakfast, or bacon/sausages etc., a selection of cheeses would have been a welcome addition to the breakfast buffet.

The swimming pool - jacuzzi, were great, we used the facilities before heading to Nottingham Indoor Bowls - EIBA Finals. Rooms were good, my room 31, was quite small - but served it's purpose until I had to try and sleep!

Room 31 - really should NOT be used, at the side of the bed (outside wall) there is a very large extractor vent - pipe work, ridiculous that this massive pipe 2ft diameter is attached to a room wall. I didn't sleep, lucky if I had 2 hours sleep! I complained in the morning and they said if I'd called them they would have moved me - 1/2am in the morning... The manager confirmed he knew it was an issue - I mentioned that if that is the case it should NOT be used, it's very small and noisy. In fairness they offered my the price of breakfast back x 2 - they said to refund me would take a long time as it's through Booking.com, have to say I was not too impressed with that excuse. On the whole all the staff were friendly - we had a lovely breakfast.

I requested a quiet room and hotel was able to oblige, putting me at far end of corridor. My room was very comfortable for one person. I do wonder whether two people sharing in the room with a double bed would have been a squeeze ... but maybe larger rooms available for two people. Room and shower room were spotlessly clean. Lounge and bar area very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was everything you could ask for. I enjoyed full English one day and plenty of fruit, yoghurt, croissants and toast the second day. The pool, jaccuzi and gym were excellent.

Staff entering through back door woke me early in the morning.

Almost everything about this hotel was perfect! The staff were brilliant, the pool was nice and the other leisure facilities gave a real luxury element to the hotel. Not too far away from local town - about 20 minutes walk. Didn't eat in the restaurant but did have a few drinks in the bar, and it was all great. Will defo go back again!

No air con (which the hotel did warn about im advance) Having a shelf in the shower would have been awesome. Water bottles in the room?

The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, and the room was clean. There was a desk where I could work, which was really helpful with sockets everywhere, which was convenient. Ample wardrobe space, too. The spa facilities were amazing with a large, well equipped gym, and we loved the jacuzzi and pool, too. We did bump our heads on the sloping ceiling in our room a few times and felt that the breakfast did not look very appealing, could have had a better selection for continental breakfast making the £15 cost better value for money.

Mery on reception was lovely and helped me check in without any fuss. Rooms are a nice and spacious - very clean. Location is great as only a 5 mins walk from the river trent. Bar/Restaurant area very peaceful and service is fast.

Originally placed in room 37 however during the 30 degrees weather and with only 1 fan and unable to open windows (as they are permanently locked) means my original room was like an oven. Mery kindly arranged for me to stay in room 25 - some traffic noise but alot cooler

There was a feather pillow and quilt on my bed and after a long day travelling and checking in at gone 9:30 pm the staff were more than happy to come and awap my quilt for a non feather one due to my allergies. I hadn't mentioned the pillow as there were 3 others and more than enough just for myself. I put the feather one to one side, when I came back from work the following day the staff had noticed it and changed it themselves with no question which was a very nice and well received gesture.

The free WiFi kept dropping which was a bit annoying when working so I used my work phone to hot-spot.

Nice and clean room. Small but okay for a very short period of time. Nice and warm in the room too. Even though outside were 10-12 degrees, we were very comfortable in the room with radiators off and bathroom window semi-opened, we never needed to close it. ( That side of the building was quiet 😃). Very pleased with the comfort of the room. Soft and clean carpets. Restaurant is good.

Our room window was towards the gap in between building and would have been lovely to see a nice small interior garden, but what we could see was the cover of what was on the ground floor and we could hear the constant noise of some sort of motor rumbling nonstop day or night. Luckily, with windows closed it was bearable. And regarding the comfort of the bed we bith find ot a bit uncomfortable but still managed to sleep on it. If I could, I would put this in a " grey" section if it was one, more than in the darkness of "did not like" section 😊

Staff Alll Very Helpfull. There was hardly any one forr evening meals in reastraunt. There was only one on duty a metradèe HE was Very Good to us alll. Food was excellent . Very clean rooms .lovely shower.. Pool & other facility's good. Enjoyed a swim. I would recommend it. Certainly use again.

AS it was New Years Eve was expecting a bit more fancy table settings. A table cloth & Table decoration or candle would have been nice. Plus nice napkins. It just didn't feel as Christmasy & special.. There was Christmas decorations which were very nicely done..
