Nice reception staff, easy to check in and out online. Good breakfast with lots of choice. I had a nicely decorated room on the top floor which was warm and with a comfortable bed, plenty of room too. Great location, a few minutes walk away from the rail station and trams, a short walk to the town and other attractions.

As with another Leonardo hotel, the bathroom fan is on ALL the time. They need to sync it with the lights and a timer. Also the room I had was at the front and the window didn't stop much of the traffic noise due to it not being able to close properly, despite me being on the top floor! (If I pushed on it, the noise died down) Earplugs are a must. The food available was just to expensive to eat there in the evening.

Nice comfy bed, decent shower, good service, nice staff, great breakfast, perfect location, close to football grounds, 350 yds from train station, 10-15 mins walk to town centre. On the Monday morning, there was a sudden rush of lots of people for breakfast at the same time and when that happens at a lot of hotels there is not enough staff to cope and the food runs out resulting in longer waiting times. However here, I was very impressed with the excellent way that the staff just stepped up a gear, and seemed to be bringing out extra food constantly as it was disappearing so quickly, but they coped so well and really limited waiting times due to their excellent efforts.

Relatively minor things - the most irritating was that the toilet seat would not stay up on its own, so had to wee one handed, which with manipulating flies etc is not ideal. The pressure on the sink tap was quite low but workable. The bath is very shallow - when I laid in it (full bath) I was not covered by the water, and I am fairly slim. Like a lot of hotels, the shower is fixed, so you can't take it off the hook, which makes rinsing underneath the low hanging fruit a bit tricky.

I chose the hotel bar to eat . It was 4 pm so food was available at the bar until 5pm there was a limited choice and prices were a bit high . The food was only average. I thought this might just be bad luck but at breakfast the same again. The breakfast was buffet style and all set out very nicely, but the food in general very underwhelming. Lumpy porridge, fruit juices that were more like cordial , flavourless scrambled eggs , strange tasting sausages and cheap tasting ketchup and brown sauce. It's a shame the standard of the food was so poor otherwise I would have scored my stay a 10 out of 10.

I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Nottingham for a night while visiting the city for a concert, and overall, it was a really pleasant stay. The location is perfect – right between the train station and the city centre, so everything is within easy walking distance. My room was very spacious, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. I also really appreciated being able to open the window for some fresh air, and once it was closed, you could barely hear any traffic noise from outside. It made the room feel peaceful despite being in a busy area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was a lovely touch that the hotel had a welcome drink ready for concert guests – a small gesture that made us feel really appreciated.

The only downsides were that the TV was quite old-fashioned, and the bathroom could use some updating. Everything worked fine, but it definitely showed its age compared to the rest of the hotel. All in all, Leonardo Hotel Nottingham is a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service and spacious rooms. Perfect for a short city break or an overnight stay when visiting for an event.

Location. Value for money and cleanliness. Once we got our bearings we found it to be in a great location. Beside train station. Around the corner from cafes. Seemed to be at the edge of town. Walking distance to castle and Hockley area. There is a Tesco around the corner from it too. Accross the road is a nice pub/restaurant. Cleaver and wake. Ate in hotel one evening for bar food. Delicious. Was happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Lights in room were a bit dark.

Breakfast was generally of a,very high quality, but slightly let down by soft croissants,no marmalade ( but there were excellent Bonne Maman jams) and no tomato juice Restaurant on site for an evening meal from 5.30. Good choice, food good without being anything special, and I felt vital was overpriced. Bedroom had a bath which is a good thing, but take your own toiletries as the wall-fixed bottles they provide are out of reach Customer service was excellent A dead light bulb was promptly replaced, and after rejecting the room I was initikyocatedcon the top floor because it had a noisy mechanical thing on the roof outside, I was given a room on the our below with no problems

The bath was ambitious narrow and difficult to get out of. I am a fit septugenarian and don't have this problem at home. The sound from the TV was not of the standard expected

As in many hotels there was only one chair in the room, We are 2 people and the allocated room had beds for 3. We were nearly let down by booking.com, through whom I usually book my hotels. A few days before we left home I checked the hotel details on the booking.com website and found they were advertising the same (or very similar) room at a significantly ,lower price with same cancellation terms. I therefore cancelled the original booking and rebooked at the lower price.

The hotel was really nice and in a good location to get to the gig at Binks Yard. We enjoyed the size of the room and the furnishings, the shower was nice and powerful, breakfast was really nice, staff were really friendly, the bar area is nice to have a drink. We would stay again.

We didn’t get bottled water in our superior room as advertised, there was a sticky mark on the desk where a drink had been from the previous occupants, the pillows were very hard, we both had a stiff neck in the morning and the lifts were very slow and we were on the 11th floor, we had to walk back up after breakfast, because they just weren’t coming down to the ground floor, I think it was 22 flights altogether.

I checked in online in advance so when we arrived to drop off our bags we were very pleased to hear that we could actually drop our bags off in our room. We were grateful because we knew we would be arriving back after watching the cricket quite late. The staff were all professional and friendly. We interacted with some staff members on reception and at breakfast in the restaurant area. The location was great. It is near to the train station, city centre and some sports venues. We were very pleased with our stay and would look to use this hotel and hotel group for future visits.

Nothing really. We were very happy with our visit.

For starters the actual location. Literally a few hundred yards from the Railway Station and clearly visible. I arrived slightly early and albeit my room wasn't quite ready I was provided with a complimentary drink in the bar whilst I waited for about 15 minutes. The room itself was pretty much as expected, large comfortable bed, air conditioned, very quiet. The bathroom was fine. There was a bath in the bathroom which wasn't very big. Would probably have preferred a more powerful power shower otherwise everything was fine, very clean. The breakfast was very good. Everything was catered for as expected. Staff wise everyone was fantastic.

Can't really think of anything that I didn't like. I mentioned about the bath being quite small but it didn't cause me any issues, just personal preference in that I like a nice shower which was still provided so all okay.
