Second time staying in the last few weeks, ideal location for our needs, the staff were friendly helpful. The room was although basic and could do with a little updating, it was clean with wonderful comfortable beds, towels and plenty of hot water. There was also good parking available. For the price paid we were very happy, it meet our needs and we have booked again for next year when we are due to visit the area again. We also ate in the pub the food and service was excellent, would recommend.

Slightly dated room and in need of some TLC

Location was perfect. Staff friendly. Letting rooms are separate from pub, each with own private entrance. Room was large, warm, & cosy. Bed comfortable. Large bathroom with strong, hot shower. Cleanliness was not pristine but acceptable (windows and nets a bit grubby, rest of room and bathroom clean). Very small fridge which was handy as there is no breakfast provided. Despite window facing onto main road, traffic noise was not a problem. Didn't hear any noise from the pub at all.

A breakfast option would be nice. Also greater options on the pub menu as the village is not the best place to eat.

Convenient for walking the Ridgeway Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. Food was good and very good value

Hot water was limited The chef was not available for breakfast, but there was a lovely cafe across the bridge which opened at 08.30 (Pierreponts)

Room was basic but large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was large and very functional. Great shower, comfy bed, lovely room.

A switch to turn off the towel rail would be useful (bathroom was a bit warm) Also, door curtain didn’t quite cover the window - managed to trap the curtain to get full coverage.

Room and en-suite were clean and tidy, bedding and towels were great. Coffee maker for hot water for tea was a little strange, instructions were put away in a drawer. The Bull was very friendly and food great

No Hairdryer. There was no restrictor on the window so leaving it open during the night was really not an option, the room became a little stuffy. No info on how to return the room key on leaving before anyone was around.

A very friendly and helpful welcome. Good pub food and drink. Great location for walking the Thames Path. Accommodation in separate building was good, comfortable bed, bath, TV. All basic but everything that was needed. Good value.

We asked to check-in early to change for a wedding. room was cleaned after we’d arrived but towels not replaced - as pub ddn’t open til 12 next day so had to manage with one towel for morning shower! Room was small.Breakfast not available at pub.

Lovely room in what looks like a converted stable block. Fabulous location in the center of a old village right on the River Thames, the river and it's bridges, old mills, lock cottage, are only a 5 min walk. The pub itself has a great garden and good meals.

Perfect location for a wedding at a great price, room was really spacious especially for a family. Staff very relaxed and welcoming and able to accommodate any requests we had. Great parking, we only used the pub for drinks so unable to comment on the food.

Room would benefit from black out blinds, and had lots of traffic noise but was manageable.

The room was basic but ok for what we needed. Clean , warm. Tea/coffee facilities. Right next to the pub for evening meal. Good location. Beautiful villages. Would stay again.
