Location. Works for us so we go back. And plenty of car parking. Nice bar. Plenty of milk with the teas and coffees. That’s a biggie for me - so many places don’t give enough milk for two or three’s cuppas each!

Inconsistent. Always seems different. This time the aspells cider was off And when we checked out it was like a ghost town. No one in reception, the bar, the restaurant or the function room. In the end I started to knock on the doors marked private and found done people in a room. There ought to be a bell or a phone number on reception to call someone if needed Didn’t really like it that the guy in the next room was lying on the floor of the corridor near our room having shouty phone conversations. I tried to feel compassionate but that’s what I do every day - this was my one night break and I’d rather the staff had tried to help him

Location is perfect for family visiting Good value Significantly refreshed since our stay in 2024 - looks and smells cleaner Bar was better stocked this time - and reasonably priced Room is very quiet when windows are closed. (If you have to open windows the road noise is loud on road facing room)

Has a deserted feel. Not many guests. The staff are polite and willing but seemed to be waiting for something to happen. It hasn’t been open very long since it was requisitioned for alternative use and I hope it recovers it’s popularity and does well

The breakfast was amazing such a wonderful selection. Plenty of it. I was surprised as the lady on the night reception when I booked in told me to be early for breakfast , as it gets picked over and selection depleted!!?? I got in for 8.30. Only person in the restaurant, the staff on duty were wonderful , could not do enough for me. The food was beautifully cooked and great quality. I think you need to promote yourselves more! It is a delightful place people are missing out.

Nothing. Only crossing the busy road to get back to the M4! Nothing you can do about that.

Great breakfast option Full English, with choice of how eggs were cooked ,good selection of fruit and continental options . I requested fried bread and the chef did it as requested Great service great food

its not a problem but the food was all laid out in buffet style which to me means help your self other than the fried items but it was served to me which is a very nice touch but the layout and the service was a bit strange to me (this in in No way a complaint and hope it not taken that way the waitress was brilliant.

The staff are super friendly and a real credit to the place. If you’re on your honeymoon, forget it but if you just wanna get your head down especially for work I came in at midnight got up had a bit of breakfast and carried on about my business. It was very comfy mattress everything was clean, okay? It’s not like brand-new latest style or anything, but it’s modern enough to do the job if you’re foresee then pay a bit more but for the price it is this is really good and I thought the reviews which nearly put me off were a bit unfair.

The breakfast is excellent. The ladies on breakfast duty are just brilliant.Happy Friendly and helpful. If the reception staff were as good and nice as the breakfast staff it would be excellent.

The grumpy reception staff not very helpful just checked you in! Job done!! I had yi ask what times the breakfast is served. Luckily I knew how to get to the breakfast as I have stayed before. The stairs down to the bedrooms is an issue to me due to being unable uk carry case down . But was carried for me once asked.

I liked the bed. It was very comfi. Heating was perfect. I loved the bath tap, gave a lovely soak. The TV channels were ok. The staff were pleasant and approachable. Breakfast was good value for money. The chairs in the dining room and tables were cosy and uniquely Western. I liked the location which is close to the Motorway and IKEA. Access to private parking with no extra charge was a bonus.

A small Fridge in the room would add a Star

I had an excellent stay from the warm and welcoming staff to the, comfortable rooms, everything met my expectations. The beds were cozy, and the room was spotlessly clean. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The hotel’s location is convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Lovely staff, clean room, comfy mattresses, quality bedding and towels, Kettle tea.coffee etc. good sized tv, good breakfast, No Aircon but fans available on request. Iron and Ironing board in the room. Free parking a bonus.

Nothing - the room furniture is dated but functional - could do with extra plug sockets by the bed, but good value for money

It was a very good breakfast buffet with excellent service from the chef and the waitress on duty at the time. We received excellent service in the bar the night before when we called in for a sociable drink before retiring.

I would have liked to be able to open the bedroom window but it was locked - presumably due to the elf and safety rules.
