Excellent place to stay in you are travelling with dogs. Staff were polite and helpful. Keith in particular made are stay more than just a stop over. We both wanted to leave an amazing review for this man. He has exceptional customer service, was polite, chatty and willing to help with any issues. We would return and recommend this hotel based on our positive experience.. give this man a pay rise. Thank you Keith for making our stay enjoyable :)

The only thing negative about our stay was that the glass shower screen had been removed previously and not replaced.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and it had wonderful air conditioning (or heating for winter). Hot water was immediate in the shower, which was a blessing! We were also quite pleased that there were different types of sleeping pillows to choose from, which is always nice, and the room was very clean. We were surprised at how quiet the hotel was, considering it was near a road, but we slept like babies. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we especially liked the buffet breakfast. Lots of food choices, including a full traditional English breakfast! The hotel felt very safe and it was well-taken care of. Some parts of the hotel need more updating, but it is a work in progress that they are working on. This was a quality, economical hotel, and we would definitely stay here again. Recommended!

Warmly welcomed by staff Olena and Muhammed. Muhammed went beyond in his effort to accommodate my dietary requirements. The rooms were clean and quiet. Parking was easily sorted too. The highlight was the evening chef! Nava did a fabulous job in not just proving the food based on my dietary requirements but also being creative with it! Kudos to morning Chef too, who made sure I get served all the suitable things and freshly made.

I would have liked a fridge in the room, given the hot weather during my stay. Guess that was included in premium rooms only. The hotel have a good bar, may be they should add more variety of drinks and cocktails for busier afternoon and evening.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating very sweet with the dog which we appreciate it very much. Our dog is usually little bit nervous and very shy but he loved it at the reception right away which is an ultimate complement as it made him feel very comfortable. The location was very nice and quiet overnight, perfect close proximity to the more canal for the morning walk and nice coffee shop by the river only 10 mins walk. Massive compliments for the bed that was clean comfortable and huge. The dog slept in a separate little bed given for him by the receptionist which was also very lovely. We also loved the breakfast which was buffet and a fantastic value of 12 pounds

The bathrooms could be a little bit more up to date

I was travelling to the area for a wedding in Wasing Park. For this purpose, the hotel's location was very convenient. It's a 5-minute drive from Aldermaston train station and about 10-minute drive from Wasing Park. The facilities were nice and cosy, the rooms spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy for me and there were no disturbing noises in general even though the hotel is located right on the highway. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of options. I did not use the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel.

Staff at front desk were exceptionally kind and very jolly. The restaurant staff were kind but lacked care or thought. One of our guests had questions about the menu and the responses lacked graciousness. Paying the bill and tipping before you’ve eaten is unacceptable. The waitress who looked after breakfast, which was delicious, was exceptional: welcoming, kind and very friendly.

Evening Food was mediocre at best. Get your act together on the food front! The hotel, rooms and reception staff were excellent. Shame to not make more effort to feed your guests.

One of the best hotels ever! It’s conveniently located near the motorway. Rooms are big, beds are super comfortable and large, all is spotless. There’s also a lovely fitness room. Breakfast is delicious (some of the best pastries ever). It’s REALLY pet friendly. Most of all, I have to say, we loved the staff. Each of them was incredibly and sincerely kind with us and our dog. The guys at the reception: amazing and it was a pleasure to have a chat with. The true gentleman in the breakfast room always smiling and supportive. It all felt like home. Way to go, guys! You made our whole stay simply beautiful. Thanks to you all!

Lovely room. Great shower. Tea and coffee in room. Mini fridge if required. Venue booked for a wake. Food at wake excellent. Service excellent. Staff very warm and friendly. Breakfast looked good but I didn’t have it. Just tea. Car parking excellent. Registration at reception. Nothing too much trouble for the staff who carried my bags up to the first floor. No lift.

Everything was good. No improvement needed except maybe a lift to first floor. I should have booked ground floor room on reflection.

The receptionist at night who welcomed us as a very late check in was 5 star, she was fabulous and so helpful getting us comfortable and going out of her way to get us a drunk. My only criticism was the room not having any windows to open even a little for some fresh air. Air-conditioning works well but personally prefer opening a window. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and the large shower was an unexpected bonus

A window that could open for fresh air

It was good to see an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer already in the room without having to ask. The shower was great, and I loved the force of the water. The food was lovely. The staff were all really friendly, helpful, and happy (which was great to see). Special mention to Ellie and Nizarri. They are both stars and certainly assets to the hotel. The cleaning staff were also really friendly and went out of their way to make space for me to walk past. Walking isn't easy, and I need to use a stick.

The shower was lovely, but the step up into it was quite high. There are no hand rails to help. The hotel looks really nice from the outside, but it would be quite difficult for a wheelchair user to get into the front doors without assistance. It doesn't look like an old hotel, but it isn't very disability friendly. On checking out, I asked at reception how many disabled rooms there are and was told there are two. That seems a very small number for a modern hotel. I wondered why the shower couldn't have been flat on the floor, I'm guessing it was down to insufficient drainage. However, I'm sure more thought, and yes, money, could have been spent to make all rooms fitted with suitable showers.
