The host was very welcoming and informative. The bed was comfortable. There are lots of products offered in the bathroom to use freely. (shampoo,conditioner,shower gel,hand cream) Tea,coffee,biscuits in the bedroom. It was very quiet and pitch black when going to sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. All on all we had a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I eoukd definitely recommend it to anyone, and we will be back in the future. Thank you to the hard-working owner for her hospitality.

We liked everything. The only constructive criticism that I would say is the bath could fo with a non-slip mat in it.

Hostess, Rebecca was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Decor throughout was beautiful - much thought has evidently gone into the tasteful and quality bedding, curtains, furniture, pictures, artefacts etc. Surprises around every corner. WiFi, tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. in our room - plus iconic Tunnocks wafers. Full English breakfast was fab - quality local produce, including homemade jam. Quiet location, on street parking, close to seafront. We've stayed in Scarborough numerous times, but this is our favourite to date. We found a proper gem of a B&B at the Cordelia. Nothing. Everything was superb.

The Cordelia offers excellent stay. This was a wonderful short stay, Rebecca is a perfect host, everything was well communicated prior to arrival and the rooms are extremely comfortable and well considered to enhance your stay. The house is spotless and extremely quiet. Perfect nights sleep. Breakfast was very tasty, all fresh products and well made. Sets you up nicely for the day. A very short walk, minutes, and you are on the Esplande, with great views of the bay. Thank you Rebecca, see you in the summer months. 10/10. Will 100% recommend The Cordelia, a wonderful stay.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, tasty breakfast, well equipped bathroom. Everything you want from a bed and breakfast.

The room was a bit small for what was listed as a superior king, but it was very nice nonetheless. A small thing, but some bottled water and a/c or fan would have been nice for what was the warmest weekend of the year so far.

Hosts were very and helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and neat with everything included. Comfortable bed (albeit a little small to what we're used to) comfortable pillows and quilt. Breakfast was exceptional, with a "build your own breakfast" arrangement which was perfect.

Not a fan of electric showers. However lots of items for use in the shower room. Quite a a walk to the seafront or the town which was okay for us.

Our room was perfect, very spacious, big verrry comfy bed, all the usual compliments and perfect bathroom. Also on the TV we were able to access our own Netflix account which was brilliant. Rebecca and James were the perfect hosts, and being able to tick the night before what you would like for breakfast the next morning is a great idea so guests know in advance what they can have and for the proprietors, they can be more prepared at breakfast time, this is a great idea. Street parking yes, and maybe you may be a few yards down the road, but Rebecca gives you a parking disc so you get 3 hours anyway, and this isn't any fault of the hotels don't forget, its the Council. When we go to Scarborough again we will be staying at the Cordelia, thankyou Rebecca and James,

The breakfast is delicious with locally sourced produce and plenty of selection including home made jams. Everything at the Cordelia is of a good quality from towels and bedding to mugs and teapots. Rebecca does everything she can to accommodate any requests you have.

Nothing we didn’t like about the Cordelia. The parking could be an issue but that’s the case with the whole area and out of the owners control. We were lucky on the 3 days we spent there and did manage to park when we got back from a day out but once parked we didn’t take the car out again in the evening because not sure we could have parked again. The other thing that could improve it would be a small fridge for milk and water etc.

This is a beautifully-appointed family run hotel run by delightful and professional hosts. Check in was very easy, the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with award-winning local produce. Hosts are on hand to help with any recommendations and the hotel is a short (and pleasant) walk to South Bay and the centre of Scarborough. We would stay again here in a heartbeat!

It was clean, cosy and comfortable. It was a bonus enjoying a supper slate one evening which meant that after a lot of fresh air & exercise we could relax in our room with a bottle of wine and delicious food.

It was very homely and friendly. Better than staying in a large hotel and quieter too.

Lovely period property with its original features , but also had a modern facilities. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable feel to it. The staff were great, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a variety of different food on the menu with vegan and gluten free options, as well as the classic English breakfast with Haggis as an addition. The property was a 20 mins walk to the town centre and a 15 mins walk to the shore.
