The room was very spacious. The bed was bigger than most we have been In. The room was cleaner than most of the places we have stayed. We liked how it was close to the beach and other places of interest. The staff were exceptional and resourceful from the moment we arrived l.

The shower was ok but could have been better. The water pressure.in the shower wasn't as good as most hotels we have stayed in. Other than that the room was exceptional.

The location and the views are amazing. The room was so comfortable, with a super king bed. The staff were so friendly and welcoming that I’ll definitely go back. Breakfast was really well cooked and the ingredients were top class.

The shower in my room was a bit compact and bijou, but I managed okay.

Hotel is very clean and furniture and decor tasteful and traditional. and the beds are really comfortable The Staff were so helpful and the attention to detail is spot on. The breakfast was great with good quality food well cooked and well presented.We had a very relaxing stay.

I didn't feel the evening menu had many choices and few that I liked. I felt it was a little restricted.Although it was all good quality food and well prepared.We had a rather gloomy view from our room. Looking onto a wall and some rubbish bins.so we did keep the curtains closed.

Everything! I researched well, it's quite a long ride to Scarborough for us, so location and parking was very important, the hotel is in such a beautiful part of town with lovely walks and gardens.. Room was lovely and clean, comfortable, large bed and most importantly a working original window for lots of fresh air! Breakfast was delicious, and sets you up for the day, in my opinion it is a must to book, I thoroughly enjoyed the granola with yogurt and berries. We ate in Cecils once on our 3 night stay, it was superb, I would advise booking as we tried for another night and it was full, our fault entirely, we had many opportunities to book in advance. All in all a wonderful stay, staff were all very helpful, cheerful the hotel certainly has a homely warmth to it, which we liked.

It was close to town very clean staff was good and the parking was free.

The breakfast!! I had kippers and a poached egg and it was the worst I ever had it was hard and the egg was cold !!!! We had evening meal well over price!! my wife had a half a lobster and it was that small it should have been thrown back in the sea !! So for the breakfast it was £30 for 2 people and £75 for the evening meal so you will need deep pockets if you are going to have a meal there!!!!

The location was excellent and views from the room were beautiful. The room was well equipped and comfortable with tea/coffee available and seats to enjoy the views. Staff were very friendly and helpful before and during the stay they responded to all my questions before arriving promptly and advised me on parking and to collect a disc for the car whatever time we arrived. Breakfast was excellent good choice and quality and the evening meal was also nice. The bar area was comfortable and pleasant to sit and enjoy a drink before and after dinner. Great place to stay well done to all the staff !

The hotel gives me a very comfortable feeling. The staff are well-trained and very polite. It is clean and refreshing. The breakfast is also great. After seeing the photos I took, my friends asked me to recommend this hotel to them and they will also arrange a visit.

The only drawback is that the water pressure for showering is very low. I was very tired after playing outside all day and wanted to take a hot shower, but the water pressure was very low and it was not very comfortable to wash my hair. It took a long time to rinse it clean. Hope it can be improved.

The hotel is situated on the South Cliff, with outstanding views. The whole place is spotless. The public rooms are beautiful. The food was almost perfect. The staff couldn't do enough to assist and serve us. The whole experience was almost perfect (see below).

If we'd have known, we'd have tried to get a larger room. Although it was fine, spotless and beautifully decorated, AND facing the sea - the most wonderful view of Scarborough anyone could wish for - we found it just a little cramped for a three night stay. Our only other slight 'complaint' (is too strong a word) was that, at breakfast, sometimes something was not hot enough (the usual culprit in almost all hotels is the bacon, and here was no exception, even though everything is delivered to the table - i .e,, there is no 'buffet' element. Other than this minor gripe (which I feel almost mean for even mentioning), all was absolutely wonderful and we intend to return ASAP.

The Weston is in a perfect location, the room was comfortable and modern with a great sea view and the breakfast was lovely. The staff are brilliant - we had to cancel our original booking the day of our arrival date due to illness and I assumed that we’d just lose the money. However, they immediately asked if we wanted to move our booking to a different date, which we did. I then called not long before we were due to stay to see if it was possible to add an extra night and they did it no problem. Will definitely be staying again and hopefully will get to try the new restaurant next time!
