The room was very spacious. The bed was bigger than most we have been In. The room was cleaner than most of the places we have stayed. We liked how it was close to the beach and other places of interest. The staff were exceptional and resourceful from the moment we arrived l.

The shower was ok but could have been better. The water pressure.in the shower wasn't as good as most hotels we have stayed in. Other than that the room was exceptional.

The location and the views are amazing. The room was so comfortable, with a super king bed. The staff were so friendly and welcoming that I’ll definitely go back. Breakfast was really well cooked and the ingredients were top class.

The shower in my room was a bit compact and bijou, but I managed okay.

The hotel is situated on the South Cliff, with outstanding views. The whole place is spotless. The public rooms are beautiful. The food was almost perfect. The staff couldn't do enough to assist and serve us. The whole experience was almost perfect (see below).

If we'd have known, we'd have tried to get a larger room. Although it was fine, spotless and beautifully decorated, AND facing the sea - the most wonderful view of Scarborough anyone could wish for - we found it just a little cramped for a three night stay. Our only other slight 'complaint' (is too strong a word) was that, at breakfast, sometimes something was not hot enough (the usual culprit in almost all hotels is the bacon, and here was no exception, even though everything is delivered to the table - i .e,, there is no 'buffet' element. Other than this minor gripe (which I feel almost mean for even mentioning), all was absolutely wonderful and we intend to return ASAP.

Booked 2 sea view rooms on the 2nd floor. They were spacious with very high ceilings and large windows with magnificent views over the water and south bay and the castle in the distance. The beds were very comfortable, not too soft like some hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast in the morning is table service, but you can order fruit, continental or cooked and if you're still hungry, they will provide more. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. My husband says they are the best staff in any hotel we've stayed in.

The lift is small and can give quite a jolt when it stops sometimes. It would be handy to have a mini fridge in the room, especially for medication.

The Weston is in a perfect location, the room was comfortable and modern with a great sea view and the breakfast was lovely. The staff are brilliant - we had to cancel our original booking the day of our arrival date due to illness and I assumed that we’d just lose the money. However, they immediately asked if we wanted to move our booking to a different date, which we did. I then called not long before we were due to stay to see if it was possible to add an extra night and they did it no problem. Will definitely be staying again and hopefully will get to try the new restaurant next time!

Our room was spacious, very well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. We asked for a sea view and it certainly did not disappoint! Breakfast was top quality and delicious with plenty of choice and the beautifully decorated dining room and attentive staff made for a very special dining experience. The location of the Weston Hotel on the Esplanade, close to the Spa Lift, is a real bonus and, of course, having free parking for our entire stay must be mentioned.

Everything about our stay was perfect. We were hoping for a well-deserved, relaxing 2-night break and the Weston Hotel was an excellent choice. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality hotel in an excellent location with superb views of the South Bay.

I love the location of the Weston. Comfy clean and spacious room, nice shower over the bath. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice festive menu in the evening. We have stayed here before and couldn't wait to come back.

I hadn't appreciated that there are 'half floors' in the hotel which aren't served by the lift. I booked a room for my mum in law whose mobility isn't great and she found it very difficult to get to and from her room after getting out of the lift. I did ask at check in to get her moved but was told they were unfortunately fully booked. Worth mentioning for anyone who needs fully accessible room to request when you book.

Our stay was perfect. We were in room 23, and it was beautiful. The views from the window seats are perfect. We chose this hotel due to having tickets for a show at Scarborough Spa Grand Hall and the location could not have been better. We headed straight out the front door to the hotel, walked across the road and arrived at the cliff trains, £2.20 return and we were at the bottom and pretty much on the Spa doorstep. Again, the gentlemen working there were chatty, polite and helpful too. Every single member of staff was friendly, polite, helpful, and exactly what you'd expect at a hotel like this. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate and lovely tea/coffee making facilities with yummy biscuits too! Breakfast was included in the price for our room. This was delicious! Again, all staff were helpful and happy! I realised on the journey home that I'd left my phone charger in the room. The person I spoke to on reception was happy to collect and post it to me! We are already deciding when to visit next, and we'll definitely be requesting the same room too!

Fantastic location - immediately opposite the victorian tram lift to the beach. Very pretty part of scarborough, close enough to stroll to the beach and amusements but far enough away to be quiet. Staff are extremely welcoming and it serves what has to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Room 12A has a fantastic panoramic view of the sea and the harbour.

It would be great to have a long mirror in the bedroom - maybe hidden inside the wardrobe if space is tight, and we found the mattress quite hard but that may just be us.
