super warm and friendly greetings from the hosts, wish we had more time to spend chatting. the bed was really comfy, great clean sheets and the location was excellent for a concert at the Spa and the south bay seafront. the breakfast was on time, great quality food and perfectly cooked. refills were available and extra requests dealt with without question. what a super place to stay, we shall return!

The room was up a few flights of stairs which we were fine with, but if you have mobility issues, check with the hosts for an upgraded room perhaps? Other than that it was perfect for our stay - thank you.

Great location! Kevin, Carys, and Hector were fantastic altruistic hosts. Kevin was very friendly and approachable and had great knowledge of the local area. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was a huge variety to choose from at breakfast, and the cooked breakfast was very tasty. Would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Sadly, due to the age of the building, there wasn't a lift provided. Also, from a personal preference, it would be nice to have a dressing table with a mirror .

Fabolous hosts - Kevin and Cerys were just wonderful! More like friends and local guides than hosts! Location was at the heart of the town centre - easy 15 mins walk from the train station and close to numerous lovely Cafes and Restaurants! South bay beach is literally 3 mins walk down the road. We had a wonderful stay! Oh and the breakfast was spot on and everything made as requested!

The stairs - though very well maintained, can be a bit challenging....but this is just nit-picking!

This B&B is a treasure to Scarborough. Within walking distance to the beach and town centre with plenty of pubs nearby. It's a lovely old building, which the owners have loving looked after, even down to the wood beams in the breakfast room to show it's history. Excellent hospitality and we couldn't fault them at all and will be returning again in the future.

The amount of walking we did whilst we stopped there and the seagulls, as they were really noisy especially on a night.

Fantastic breakfast, great selection, one of the best we have had. Rooms were good and spacious. Great location, we've ease of access to the sea front and the shopping areas. Good friendly staff and owners of the property. An uncomplicated 10 minute walk from the train station. Property owners were happy with a bag drop off for early arrivals. Very pleasant stay, would highly recommend. Rooms had wardrobe and shelving space for clothes, bedside tables and coffee/tea making facilities. Plus a mirror with a nearby socket, which the wife appreciated.

stairs were a little steep and narrow, but still doable and really cannot expect much difference from properties of this type, We had an issue with our electrical shower, the water heating would not regulate to a comfortable temperature. It was report, unfortunately I guess it's difficult to have these items repaired or replaced on a Bank Holiday weekend, we managed to get through though.

The location is excellent for proximity from the train station and to the beach. It is also very central within the town near lots of restaurants. The room was very spacious with a large clean bathroom. Breakfast is nice, place your order in advance to have your choice of English breakfast items with toast. There’s also cereal, yogurt and fruit salad available. Everything is freshly prepared as soon as you sit down in the spacious dining room. Served by the friendly hosts. We had a sea view from our room, which given it was a relatively short notice booking and it happened to be during Whitby Goth Festival (very busy there) we were very pleased to get. The fine weather really highlighted the local beach and harbour too, just minutes away by foot.

The room decor is a little dated but it’s well kept.

Blands Cliff is a lovely little place. It is at the top of a steep hill, but there is another path down to the beach, which is littered with shops. Kev & Carys are great hosts, who provide a great breakfast to get the day started. Beds were comfy, and the room was great for a short stay.

We were in room 8 and paid for a room with a partial sea view. This was disappointing, really. There is a big hill to climb from the main road, which some may find an issue. Other than that, it's a great little place.

We liked the comfort of a family run business. It was clean cosy and the breakfast was delicious. The room was extremely spacious and clean, it had everything we needed and more. The bathroom was huge with plenty of towels. The location was perfect, right in the centre of town, two minutes from the beach and arcades. Very quiet at night and we felt perfectly safe.

Great location to visit the attractions, castle, amusements and beech. A value for money room for small family with good breakfast included. Staff polite and very helpful. A worthy 3 star lodge which we booked with only 48 hr notice.

We needed to search for a car parking place, but once it was found parking was also good value and very convenient.

Fantastic location less than a minute to the front 1 minute to the beach. Direct to the shops BOOK DIRECT WITH THE OWNERS AFTER FINDING THE AVAILABILITY IS THERE

Only thing is the parking situation which the hotel has NO control over, don't blame them, they give a permit in a zone then it's a matter of finding a space
