Great value for money, great location, really close to the attractions on the North Bay (Peasholme Park, Open Air Theatre) all a short walk away, really close to Scarborough Castle, not too far away from the South Bay either - although the route we took wouldnt be suitable for everyone, due to steep roads and cobbles, the staff were helpful and friendly, we were able to park up a few hours before check in which meant we didn't need to mess around paying for parking to then move the car later, there was no issues with the parking either. For us, this was perfect for going to a gig, close to the bars near the Open Air Theatre, too. The room was clean and it was nice for the kids to have their own beds too.
Couldn't think of anything. We literally used the room to get changed before the gig and slept in it, so perfect for us.

The location is excellent, being on the sea front, and far enough out of town to be quiet, but not so far, that it's not possible to walk into town! The room was of fair size, and the view was good from our position on the third floor! It was fine for us, but if you are elderly, it's worth noting, that there doesn't seem to be a lift! The car park is a huge bonus in Scarborough, and we felt quite safe leaving the car there.
I always feel awkward answering this question, if there is really nothing wrong. The walk up the stairs to the third floor, with luggage, might be a factor, if guests are older, but they could try to book a room on a lower floor. If you want breakfast, book it at the time of booking your room, as the hotel was fully-booked, when we stayed, and they were unable to accommodate us for breakfast! We ended up taking a short drive to the seafront brasserie at the Spa theatre, where we sat outside, and had a lovely full English on the terrace, facing the sea! You are bever going to be stuck for a place to get breakfast in Scarborough, but worth noting.

Lovely clean hotel and the parking is a bonus. Fantastic location for lovely views.
When we arrived the lady couldn't locate our booking not sure why. When she found it she told us our room had been given to another customer!! To be fair she did find us another room on the top floor however this was not of the same standard, it didn't have the large bay window or the table & chairs to sit at to look at the seaview. We were given a complimentary drink & breakfast. Despite the error I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed as a group of 4 friends as we were at the Spa for a gig. Finding the hotel we noticed it was in a great location with an amazing view over the sea, it has it's own private carpark which in Scarborough is extremely helpful. The manager was super friendly and helpful, the check in was easy and she even let us have a later check out without any extra cost. The room was big and spacious and the beds were really comfortable best part was the shower which was amazing. The hotel has an honesty bar with a choice of soft and alcoholic drinks along with a few snacks, this was a great touch. The walk to and from the main bars and restaurants was easy and took about 7 mins 10 mins to the beach front. All in all would highly recommend and definitely stay again when we are next in Scarborough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to come home. The weather was gorgeous too which was a bonus! The location is amazing, a short walk to the sea front and amenities. The view is stunning, watching the sun go down sat on the benches outside the hotel. Lovely clean rooms, Welcomed on arrival and nothing was too much trouble when asked for extra pillows. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast on both days. Shelley was accommodating for my allergies. Breakfast area clean and fast service. We will definitely be coming back! 5 star review
Nothing! Amazing hotel and lovely staff! Already planning our next trip!

I loved everything about this hotel .we were greeted by a lady called shelly ,who was very pleasant and very helpful. Nothing was to .much trouble for her. The hotel was spotless, comfortable ideally situated .Great views and a car park for free off road parking. There was a honesty fridge in the lounge where you could go get anything you required, like extra.milk ,sugar coffee tea ,wine ,beer .would definitely recommend this hotel
No fridge in the room , no breakfast in with the room .the room was quite expensive so would have been nice to have a breakfast in with the price

Clean, warm and comfortable. On site parking (free) was a bonus as this is normally one of the biggest things on our list when looking to book somewhere. The room was exactly as the pictures and was just what we needed after a lot of walking. The sea view was a wonderful sight to wake up to (it was foggy when we arrived but cleared in the morning) the room had 4 large windows and I could see all across the bay.
Nothing, we had no issues.

old property but comfy and clean. lady in charge very helpfull greeted us with our names which was nice.
tv was very small and quite bad for interference through out the night we were there. difficulty filling kettle due to small sink and large neck tap had to use a cup to fill kettle. duvet very lumpy and pillows not comfortable. good parking on private area at side of hotel.

Excellent location, gorgeous room decor, comfy bed, excellent view, great price, very clean and staff were really lovely. Free parking
Sea view but windows were a bit dirty so view was blurry. We were in Room 15. Was quite noisy above so was up at 6am hearing footsteps constantly on the ceiling till 9am. Not sure if it was guests in a room above or a cleaner or a hallway.
