The flat was roomy, with comfy beds and well fitted out kitchen. Well presented rooms and comfy large sofa/bed. Excellent position for Scarborough with lots of shops, takeaways and restaurants around. Although there was lots of amenities around it was not noisy. A view of the sea and near the beach with the castle not far to walk to. The owner of the flat was very accommodating and helpful, easy to reach.

If I were to make any suggestions on improvement, although the beds were comfy the bunk beds squeaked, so as I am a light sleeper I woke up a lot with the person above moving. The person in the lounge was woken up early as the curtains were not blackout so the light came in early.

We stayed at Harcourt Place in Scarborough from the 5th to the 6th of April as a family of five (two adults and three children), and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we booked, communication from Janice , the owner, was outstanding. We received a warm confirmation followed by several helpful emails with recommendations on places to eat, things to see, and activities to do in the area. It really built the excitement for our trip and made us feel looked after before we even arrived. The property itself was absolutely immaculate – beautifully clean, stylish, and incredibly family-friendly. It’s perfectly located right on the seafront with stunning sea views, and we felt very welcome from the moment we walked in. Everything we needed was provided, including fresh linens and towels, and there were no hidden fees whatsoever. It was clear a lot of care and attention has gone into making guests feel at home here, and we were so impressed with how accommodating and thoughtful everything was. We had a wonderful time and will 100% be looking to stay again. Highly recommend this gem of a property!

- Excellent communication from host from start to finish, clear instructions on how to access apartment and Janice was just a message away when we needed her. - Location is good if you’re wanting to be near amusements/south beach. - Apartment itself is lovely, has everything you need, nice size living area if your wanting to head back to room and relax with young children.

Apartment is near a pub/bar and there was some loud music playing until around 12 ish.

Harcourt Place is a beautifully presented apartment, spotlessly clean, child friendly, exceptionally well equipped, comfy beds and excellent linen/towels. It is central with a special sea view. Janice (the host) ensured booking and check in ran as smoothly as you could ask for. She was friendly, professional and informative.....nothing was too much trouble. There was nothing to dislike.

Great central location. Owner was excellent help with Information and even sent us links for discounts on nearby activities for our stay. Communication was excellent. Apartment was clean and had everything we would need. It is difficult to find a place to stay at a reasonable price as a family of 5 and this was ideal with plenty of space for us. We will definitely return.

Location was great. Found parking close by. Apartment was fantastic, great to spend time family together in the open plan living area. Very clean and tidy bedrooms and bathrooms. The host Janice was very good, kept up to date with information and made us feel very welcomed.

A family member didn't like the climbing of the stairs to the apartment. But most of us didn't mind it

Fantastic location. Great little bolt hole for exploring all that Scarborough has to offer. Janice was excellent at providing help and recommendations for our stay. The apartment had ample space. There were only 3 of us but I think it would comfortably cater for 5/6 people. Facilities were really good.

Maybe a couple of extra little touches would just elevate the score, such as essential toiletries like shower gel, shampoo. This wasn’t an issue of course as we had brought our own but just little touches can really make a difference.

All the little extras that were included for guests convenience so that they do not have to go on a shopping trip for washing up liquid, tea cloths, dishwasher tabs etc, because all were provided, including tea coffee etc and even milk sachets in the fridge. Janice, the host was brilliant, thank you!

The views were fantastic, the decor was tasteful and educational (lovely bid world map) even the weather was superb, so nothing could have made our stay better really.

Great location, super friendly and helpful host, lovely accommodation with everything a family could need. Just a short walk to the beach and seaside attractions. Tram back up if you are not feeling like the walk. Very close to the town with all its shops and amenities. I couldn't find on street parking, so I used the multistorey across the road. Only stayed one night, but it was a memorable one.

Everything. The location of the property was ideal as we could stroll to the beach and back in less than 30 minutes! The apartment was stunning. Very clean, cosy and spacious. Good lighting everywhere and beautiful scenic pictures everywhere. Massive kitchen. Marvellous sea views! Wonderful view of The Grand Hotel which did look stunning at night! Comfortable beds. Owners were even kind enough to allow us to bring our feline pets! Really couldn't ask for more or fault it in anyway. I've found my ideal place to stay in Scarborough and I'll be back 😉
