Great hotel for couples & families. Evening entertainment & bingo on most nights, coffee lounge & games room too if you prefer a bit less noise. Gorgeous terrace to sit out on in the warmer weather & all the staff were really friendly. location close to the shops and beach if you don’t mind steep walking (not a criticism of the hotel though most of Scarborough is like this) Lovely views of the harbour if you choose a room with sea view. Food was great & very reasonably priced & the rooms were comfortable & cosy too. free, on site parking without any issues, I would definitely recommend this hotel

The water wasn’t very hot for baths& showers on the first night but was fine 2nd night. We understood this was due to old fashioned heating system that could be improved on

Location was perfect, directly above the Spa and only a short walk of a few minutes to South Bay and the town centre. The hotel also has live entertainment each night, making for an inclusive stay. The staff ae friendly and well organised, nothing is ever too much trouble. There is also a small car park, which is not available at many of the neighbouring hotels.

The television in the room only had terrestial channels.

Loved the location, room size was amazing and breakfast was spot on.was an impromptu visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary so we were perfectly happy with what we got at the price we paid and we are keen to visit again x

Room was at furthest point to the lift and being disabled I struggled walking also shower was inaccessible for me due to disability however that said booked via booking.com and there was no opportunity on the booking info to request something more suitable ie...room close to lift and if possible a level entry shower so no fault of the hotel at all.however no evening meal was made available to us and again no option to request during booking.

The hotel is very dated and could use a good refurbishment but having said that it was very clean

Lovely staff, facilities and location of hotel. Was not expecting it as mine was a last minute booking but a great view of the South Bay and harbour from an unexpected balcony. Great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable nights sleep.

Only criticism was that the bathroom needed updating (peach suite) and furniture in room although completely adequate and functional was old fashioned dark wood and an update of these in the room would benefit the ambience.

breakfast for eight pounds was terrible 1small sausage 1small bit of bacon 1/2 tomatoes 1/2fried bread small fried egg-plus breakfast staff went helpful had no butter had to take of another table ,no sauces had to ask for coffee plus daughter a vegan was given beans not valve for money

Had a room with sea view which was nice. The room was very spacious.

The room was clean but an awful smell in the bathroom so had to keep the window open

Location of hotel with great views and staff very friendly and helpful. Cooked English breakfast was lovely.

Room was a little dated.. would also benefit from a small fridge and a hairdryer

Easy to find, easy to park, warm welcome, spacious room with views, comfortable bed, nice breakfast served by smiling and attentive staff. Fantastic value for money.
