The staff members were all fabulous - helpful, friendly, polite. The room was spacious and tidy. Breakfast was really lovely and staff accommodated our requests accurately and speedily. The hotel ambience was calm and welcoming. The decor was contemporary and attractive. We enjoyed sitting on the hotel patio with cocktails at the end of a busy day in Scarborough.

The en-suite was ok but the shower screen was very annoying. The main problem for us was the temperature of the bedroom. For 3 nights we roasted and sweated making sleep very difficult. The fan provided was not good enough. As we were on the 4th floor the windows only opened a few inches, so our room never cooled down. It was really uncomfortable and was the only real negative in an otherwise lovely stay. By our 3rd night we were dreading bedtime. Unfortunately, I cant stress strongly enough how hot our room was.

If you like Scarborough, then, you cannot fail to like this Hotel. From arriving to leaving the staff were excellent, extremely friendly, yet very professional. Well done and Thank you. The Hotel is ideally located for most of what Scarbourgh has to offer. Close to the tramway to the beach, close to the main shopping area and close to the railway station. The Hotel offers excellent covered parking( a bonus in Scarbourgh). We experienced some of the finest Hotel food in the restaurant, again Thank you. The breakfasts were, again excellent with a vast choice and properly served at your table. A quality that is very rare these days. Our bedroom was good and spacious. All in all I would highly recommend this Hotel

Breakfast was great you could have more or less anything you wanted 😀 The cooked breakfast was all nice and hot nothing was too much trouble for the staff they went out of there to help .

The only was the room was very small and it had a big bed ,but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves ,we were lucky and had lovely weather ,the hotel is in a good position to get to places especially if you are not on your feet .

What did I like? Absolutely everything, the location , the room, the food , the whole few days was absolutely wonderful . I can honestly say in all my years visiting Scarborough this was the best home from home hotel we have ever stayed, (a great recommendation from a work colleague. )Ps nice to serve decaf coffee satchets and biscuits in the tea/coff room facilities, lovely pillows, comfy bed , pleasant staff, superb well done everyone

If I have to be picky and really picky it would be the fact that there was a crack above our bed in the ceiling on my husbands side of the bed, didnt bother me but it did him abit

The location was near shops, theatre and the beach. The covered parking area was really good and you could park there from 12 noon on the day of arrival. The hospitality tray was good with plenty of different teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Large cupboard space with plenty of coat hangers. The tv on the wall in the room was a good size. Lovely toiletries, if you had forgotten any. The breakfast was brilliant: plenty of choice, with waitress service. The cooked breakfast was always piping hot. The lounge areas were very pleasant and spacious. Very helpful, efficient and friendly staff. We would definitely visit again.

The flow of water in the bath and shower was very slow. Although the double bed was very large and comfortable, the room was small, with only one chair, so it was a bit cramped with two people in it.

Everything. Staff were delightful, friendly and helpful. Food was good. Hotel was extremely comfortable with large lounge, bar area. Very good location. Had free car park nearby. Bedroom very small, however bed comfortable, especially pillows. We will definitely stay again when visiting Scarborough.

Nothing. However doubt you will put this on website as only complaint is what we paid via Booking.com. Other people staying at the hotel had booked direct with the hotel and had paid much less than us. This is particularly upsetting as we were accompanied by my recently bereaved 80 year old sister who had paid a large amount for her single room.

Situated right beside the town centre of Scarborough, and a couple of minutes walk from the clifftop views down onto the South Bay. It really is a very good location. Even has its own free parking. the building itself looks quite grand. Inside was well appointed, if a little bland. The breakfast room though looked like a wedding reception. My room was well appointed, recently decorated, and everything worked. The shower was perhaps a little puny. Breakfast was excellent.The usual selection, but the cooked breakfast was excellent. Staff were professional rather than friendly, perhaps. But everything worked and was efficient.

For some reason my room hadn't been hoovered. Those gritty bits on the carpet you had to brush off before getting into bed. There are little bits of soiled toilet paper in the bathroom. There's even a half used carton of milk tucked behind the slightly grimy net curtains. This was a shame because the bedding the towel was were all perfectly clean. The rest of the hotel looked Immaculate.

Outstanding Hotel and staff. What an amazing hotel, the staff were so friendly and courteous. The food was outstanding, compliments to the chef. The hotel is perfectly situated for all the amenities, such as the short walk to the seaside, the town and train station a few minutes walk. I will definitely be going back again. I spent 2 nights here and breakfast was included. It was really nice to get away and recharge the batteries. The afternoon tea was wonderful and the evening meal was amazing. We'll worth a visit!

Location (3 mins walk to venuncular railway £2.60 return to beach), car parking (would have been £12 per day in multi story), EV charging 0.65p per KWh. Food excellent. Although a little dated it was clean and well maintained.

Note if you are disabled, the car park is down a fairly steep hill, and into a basement. You then have to get up the hill back to the hotel, it’s not far but is steep. EV charging - needed to download an app which wouldn’t work in the basement garage - had to plug in the car - take charger details and then sort once we had connected to the hotels WiFi in our room. Did get it sorted but a bit annoying.

Very central location. The breakfast menu was included and covered a good variety of tastes. Hardworking friendly staff. Highly recommend booking afternoon tea. A choice of classic or savory available, and good value, an ideal afternoon beverage is the latte coffee that comes with a mini ice cream cone. This can be enjoyed in very cozy comfortable seating. Very tasteful decor throughout.

We were a bit disappointed with our room. There were no easy chairs which we like for relaxing. There were 2 upright chairs but not much room to place them suitably. Didn't really spoil our stay at all.
