Nice property Excellant location, rooms were nice clean and comfortable, could use minor touching up and tlc but we were happy. Wasn’t a full sea view but still pleasant Gentleman on reception lovely and welcoming all other guests very nice. Good food in the evening. Lovely that it’s all dog friendly

The staff at breakfast didn’t even acknowledge us, never mind explain the breakfast set up to us, luckily a guest at a near by table pointed things out to us, as we had been sat at the table like fools waiting to be served not realising it was self service!

Clean, good location, walking distance to everything from the high street to South Bay to Scarborough Castle! The room and bathroom was clean and well organised. Key-card access to the inner building so only residents/employees could actually get in. Good continental breakfast options and breakfast ran during reasonable hours so we didn’t have to get up mega-early to still enjoy the food. Parking was easy enough to manage. Dog friendly and, although we don’t have a dog ourselves, we do adore them so that brought an extra element of joy to our stay. Room and hotel very well themed - there are bikes and bike parts as well as boots of different varieties throughout the hotel areas.

No outward signs on the building to identify the hotel, only realised we had found it after pulling up and looking up the name of their restaurant which IS named on the building. Did not appreciate the £25 hold for a mini-bar that we did not want or know about & the guy who was at check-in was a bit abrupt about it “everyone just pays it”. My partner and I were on a tight budget so it meant we had to be even more frugal than originally anticipated.

The Bike & Boot is a hotel I’ve wanted to stay at for a long time & it didn’t disappoint. Perfect, easy welcome & check-in. Lovely, cosy warm & inviting lounge areas. Great drinks options - free coffee available & lovely cake provided at 16:00. The room we stayed in was a mini loft suite costing £82.00 for the night & was exceptional. Perfectly comfy bed & luxury linen, clean, bright & modern decoration & sparkling clean bathroom with all the toiletries needed - soft, plush towels. An easy to use Smart TV, great coffee machine & amazing sea view via the Velux windows. The restaurant was amazing - food very good and fairly priced. The overall service from all the staff we encountered was excellent in every way. So glad we stayed - thank you B&B!

No specific/designated areas for animals - animals in restaurant areas - all disliked “Parking” - just difficult and daily permits charged for . “Housekeeping” requested - did not visit until further requests made ( then attended well ) “Bathroom (104)” - very dark “Breakfast” - the offering of a cooked breakfast was poor - limited to bacon and pancakes and given advice by hotel staff where to go to locally for a cooked breakfast meal which we accepted .

We enjoyed everything about this hotel stay. The location is fantastic, we used the cliff lift every day to get down to the beach level. It is a very short walk away from the hotel. The views from our room were amazing. I have walking difficulties and although there are a few steps up to the hotel, they did say that I could use another access without steps at the rear if I wanted. I was able to take my time and climb the few steps at the front, there is a very good rail and they were not particularly steep. I was also given an accessible room, which I was very grateful for as it had a lift almost at the room’s door. We enjoyed the food here too and ate at the hotel everyday. The staff (all of them) were so friendly and helpful. So, from the efficient check in, the afternoon cake, and check out it was a great experience and we’d definitely go back and recommend it to others. Our dog Roma also loved the experience.

There’s absolutely nothing we didn’t enjoy at this hotel.

I’ve just returned from a wonderful two night stay. My room on the third floor was a good size, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Amazing view! The location is perfect and short walks from the sea front and town centre. The bar, restaurant and lounge areas were fantastic. I had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. Exceptional customer service from all the staff. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, It was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, we even arrived several hours early and although we didn't expect to get into the room we were invited to have free tea and coffee and use of the facilities for the whole day when we called in for the parking permit. Loved the cinema room although only the last 10 minutes of the film were shown when we went which was obviously an error so not complaining. The beach was a 10 minute max stroll away and the same to Scarborough center so location is great.

The breakfast was disappointing, we were looking forward to full cooked breakfast however it was a continental buffet and although there were pancakes and bacon the pancakes had stuck and were hard around the edges. You could boil your own eggs in a water bath but i didn't trust it as the water wasn't boiling there were hard boiled eggs available but they were cold. The Loft suite was comfortable but the pictures made it look a much larger room and head room was limited so this is why I have marked the value for money down however the room was clean and comfortable with plenty of "extras" (coffee machine, hair dryer, Iron, stocked mini fridge etc) - the lift was a bit claustrophobic too but glad there was one!

We were given a suite which was greatly suited to our needs and taking into account my disability I walk with a waking stick or Walker . It was ground floor with a couple of steps down only and It was ideally sited for our little dog too. The staff were sooo helpful went above and beyond to ensure our stay was good. Breakfast was awesome. Views were really lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Parking was difficult but it was August. We were offered a permit first £4 but no spaces found in the specific area, however we found a multi storey Carpark near by so wasn’t an issue.

We absolutely love The Bike & Boot! It has EVERYTHING we need … great, friendly super helpful staff, great location, cool decor, comfortable beds, fantastic facilities in the rooms and throughout the hotel, powerful showers, big soft towels, well stocked mini bar, complementary water, tea and Nespresso coffee and FRESH MILK in the rooms, dressing tables with lighting and double power sockets (it’s the little details that make the difference) complimentary hot drinks and delicious afternoon cakes in the lounge…. A great bar (try the Nassau Sour!) and delicious food in the restaurant I could just go on and on and on all day about all the great things at this hotel! Ot really is fantastic and great value for money too!

Quirky hotel, staff were very attentive. Location is excellent, right in the centre of town. Nice relaxed atmosphere and lots of free extras such as movie nights, free cake at 4pm. Nice bar area.

No air con or fan in the room, which usually in the UK isn’t a problem but in an unusually hot spell, our third floor room was really hot. We tried to keep the window open but it wouldn’t stay up. Seagulls are a problem - they seem to wake up at 3 in the morning and don’t shut up - not the hotels fault but double glazing would solve it! The hotel is quite loud at night due to creaky floorboards upstairs and other guests not being bothered about other people’s sleep!
