Everything, facilities, cleanliness, location, price, everything was fab. We needed to move rooms due to the heat in the room on our first night it was just so so hot I got a migraine from the heat, and we was moved without an issue and our new room was perfect the staff were so accommodating especially the young blonde girl didn’t catch her name but she was so nice when helping us. Also the food was really good quality, would stay here again definitely

A mini fridge in the room would’ve been perfect, but I understand why not as without the room key there’s no electric in the room, so I understand why not but if that was manageable that would be great.

Lovely receptionist on entering and such friendly staff. Pool and spa facilities outstanding. Outside the front of hotel view brilliant as is the walk through the tree's down to the beach and back up in the evening. Scarborough on whole a beautiful place

Our room was the last one bookable. It was hotter than hell ;-) due to the little heatwave we've had, outside view there wasnt one just a small wooden fence and planter with nothing in it Thankfully reception sorted out another fan for us straight away. We would definitely come book but not in this room. We will book seaview so you have that evening breeze.

The south Bay Area was lovely & the location of the hotel and entrance & inside was lovely. The staff were super friendly & helpful. The hotel is spotless, loved the bar area and seating outside. The rooms are super clean and comfy - coffee & tea in rooms. The car park was brilliant. Thank you Beth who sorted that for us 🫶

The shower in our room was tired & old, very unclear as symbols had worn off for temperature to distinguish which was hot and cold was a lot of turning and messing about. Aesthetically for a hotel of that standard the plumbing of the shower did not match, looked more of a botch job how they were installed all over wall & the shower head has seen better days. Windows could have been cleaner outside. & the floor boards in the room above us was so squeaky as well as ours.

Ease of parking, great location very informative and helpful staff also extremely polite from checking in up to using the pool and breakfast. We had a sea view room on the third floor.. Clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable pillows were just right.. Loved the ambience of the low lights, as it gave a very romantic feel.. Swimming is good as are the other facilities, jacuzzi ice room hot room sauna. The breakfast variety is good as there is something for everyone, so no complaints from either of us.. Looking forward to stopping again in the future.. Well done..

Prefer a decent cup of tea, instead of PG Tips.. Not enough milk as my partner prefers hers milky. Other than that excellent..

We were only in Scarborough for a flying visit for a show on the Saturday night and as such didn't have too much interaction with staff...however, we arrived late afternoon about 4.30pm and checked in at reception. The lady was really friendly and made good conversation with us as she explained the policies and timings for breakfast (which we chose not to have as we had an early start) and also the Spa times, parking etc. The room was clean, fresh and tidy. I always judge a hotel room by if I dare walk bare footed on it, especially if it's carpeted and I was more than happy to so in here. The bathroom too was spotlessly clean and modern. We were up early and chose to use the Spa as opposed to having breafast...and wow were we impressed. The Spa is huge and decorated in polished Victorian tiling both floors and walls. The 'jacuzzi' was the size of most hotels in this country's swimming pools. There's two saunas, one hotter than the other, a steam room, a solarium and an ice room to cool you down...and the pool is ideal for a few lengths. The lady who was working that morning was so helpful and accommodating. She was clearly very busy as she was by herself, but that didn't stop her going out of her way to be supportive of us in any way she good. This hotel has been clearly well maintained and looked after over the years. Older hotels like this can sometimes come with a stigma of being run-down and past their best, not this one...this is quite the oposite and I can't wait to stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel in the perfect location. The room is nice and the bed very comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I can really recommend this hotel. The pool and sauna facility is brilliant. Sure it could do with a bit of updating but that really is no issue at all. Everything works really well. I particularly liked the two Swedish saunas and the ice shower room. Nice touch!

I did not like the spa opening hours. I enjoy going for a swim after getting up at 6am but I had to wait until 8am on Saturday and until 9am on Sunday. By that time the pool was already full with people and kids. That’s not great and I missed out on swimming on this holiday therefore.

Above all, the staff. Everyone we met was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with a great view and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was good (bread rolls as well as sliced bread would have been nice though). We ate in the restaurant one evening and really enjoyed our meals. Bar prices and car park charges were reasonable. The spa area was lovely, with a large hot tub, 2 saunas, steam room and ice cave as well as the swimming pool, and the gym was extremely well-equipped. It's not too far to walk into town if the weather is good.

I'd recommend taking your own hairdryer - the one in the room was hopeless. There was quite a strong draught from the bedroom window and the showers in the spa area aren't very warm

Room was spacious, airy, clean and comfortable. Check-in staff were polite and professional. The Spa (complimentary for guests, except for personal treatments) was larger than expected, clean and well fitted-out.; not too busy, considering the number of guests; staff were friendly and helpful.

Couple of glitches in the bathroom (reported to maintenance) Hotel parking (£10 a night) was merely a yard around the back; better than on-street parking, I suppose but not great value.

The room was extremely spacious and had a wonderful view of the coast. The room included a dining table, sofa, 2 arm chairs and a vanity desk in addition to an incredibly comfortable bed! All convenience items included in the room without having to ask - Iron, hairdryer, ironing board, safe, kettle, mini fridge etc. Smart TV was a plus - could watch Netflix, TV players etc at ease. Mood lighting options in both the room and bathroom was a nice touch. Pool area wasn't overly busy during our visit. Jacuzzi also very spacious, so there was always space. Towels provided on entrance to the spa and lockers are free in the changing rooms. Hairdryers and swimwear dryers provided in the changing rooms also for free. Passed the gym equipment on the way to the pool - looked to be a very well equipped modern gym. Staff provided a birthday card and chocolates for my husband, which was a lovely gesture and nice surprise.

Lock on bathroom door was broken and the door wouldn't shut properly unless you really gave it some force.

Both the room and the bathroom where nice and modern, although the cold water tap for the bath didn't work so we had to improvise with the shower. Tea and coffee in the room, as well as a ceiling fan which was needed as it was very hot. The check in was easy and we got a place in the car park without pre booking, which we didn't know we had to do. All the staff were very nice and friendly. Great location looking out towards the sea.

Only one of the two lifts were working and there was a queue to use it, so we walked up the stairs with luggage, four floors!!
