Everything in this little place is perfect, comfy bed, beautiful sea views, amazing breakfast, the lady who greeted me (I'm presuming the owner) was lovely and really helpful, coffee machine in room was a lovely touch, hot powerful shower, small fridge in room, everything was perfectly clean, my room was a single sea view room, compact and cosy, small parking area infront of property but don't let that put you off, the property owner gave me a card to park on the road outside for free and there's plenty of room on the road just outside. Walking distance to North Bay, there's a lovely chippy just up the road North Bay Fisheries which was also great. I would highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay again 10/10

Everything was perfect

Lovely view from room over North Bay and Scarborough Castle. Fridge in room with bottled water provided. Food selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate including biscuits. Coffee maker also available to use. Good selection of breakfast choices, host was very friendly. En suite room with walk in shower. Free parking provided on site. Comfortable bed, with extra blanket provided if necessary.

No lift so be prepared for stairs. If you order a taxi make sure that you mention the correct street name as hotel is assessable from two different roads.

Very Amiable and helpful staff Lovely Breakfast,Very clean Good location and fantastic view

The only problem was I was on the third floor,and I have chronic Osteoarthritis the Lady Manager was genuinely sympathetic about this and did offer me a room on the 1st floor when it became available on my last full day there but by then I,d got use to the stairs and the exercise!,and I managed the Stairs slowly but surely and it would NOT put me off staying there again (The Seaview from my 3rd floor window made up for it)

From the moment we arrived Susanna was on hand to offer friendly, helpful information about our stay. The accommodation is immaculate and we had everything we needed including a super comfortable bed, quality towels and blankets, a mini fridge, extra radiator if needed (we didn’t, the temperature was perfect) and large TV. The breakfast was fabulous. More than enough for the hungriest of guests and all cooked to perfection with quality ingredients. Susanna is a fantastic host and it is clear that she works hard at keeping her business running smoothly.

The view of north bay from the window,7.50 value for money breakfast,table and chairs which were comfy in front of the view,host was warm and welcoming,and felt nothing would be too much trouble,good facilities in the room was surprised to see pod coffee maker and a kettle

As the room was the budget and up 6 flights at the top,you need to be agile,though seats are placed on each landing,the sloping floor in the bedroom,did take getting used to but it's a grade 2listed building,a small wardrobe would have been better than the coats thing in the corner,that said wouldn't hesitate to stay again but in a room lower down,with that lovely view

Great location with view across the bay, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and accommodation was clean & tidy. Overall was great and good value for money.

Room was located on the roadside which was noisy with traffic, for me the bed was a little uncomfortable and duvet was extremely thick and as the weather was warm, I had difficulty in sleeping and fought with the duvet most of the night. There is parking for 4 average size cars but 2 in front and 2 behind, however the host was able to provide a parking permit on the road in front and the road was wide so was not concerned of car being damaged and there was plenty of space for parking.

Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished . I loved the wooden furniture with glass tops , allowing me to enjoy cup of tea without worrying about leaving ring marks . Beautiful sea view , very comfy bed and the location was perfect , quiet north bay but walking distance to town and south bay . Free parking and complimentary tea/toiletries. Wonderfull kind and professional hostess facilitated a relaxed stay and was incredibly graceful when i accidentally damaged an item . Place totally lived up to reviews , book in confidence!!

Had a lovely stay. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was a really good choice of tea/coffee which was plentiful and replenished every day. Loved the fridge for the milk and water. The view over looking the sea was amazing and I loved sitting in the chairs at the window looking out. Bed was really comfortable and I slept so well! Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Plenty of space for parking also. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I would say, as others have previously commented, is that if you have mobility issues you may prefer to ask for a room on a lower floor. But otherwise absolutely nothing to dislike.

Zsuzsanna, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. As we arrived, she greeted us outside and helped coordinate our car parking with that of her other guests. On our final day she kindly provided a free parking ticket for the roadside nearby. The rooms were well equipped, spotlessly clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. She presented us with delicious and generous Full English breakfasts each morning in the pleasant breakfast room. Thank you very much Zsuzsanna. We would recommend The Leeway wholeheartedly.

The Leeway is in a good position with unspoilt views of the North Bay in Scarborough. My room had little extras like a coffee machine, a small fridge and shower gel. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and well laundered. The owner was pleasant and helpful; she sorted out a parking permit for me. Our stay was extremely good value for money! I would definitely stay there again!
