Came here to attend a convention nearby so we loved how close it was to get to our convention, we took the route towards the nec. We loved how we could use the amenities at the hotel such as the spa and the pool! The steam room was our favourite! The Burgany Restaurant was INCREDIBLE! Me and my partner was gushing over the taste of the food! Honestly we could have ate more and definitely will be booking a table there again at our next stay! The chocolate cheesecake was to die for! The entire meal we had was incredible, so much so we wanted to take the chef home with us, and the servers there were so sweet too! They made sure we had everything! The room was perfect, the room came with a fan inside the wardrobe which was super handy because the room definitely gets hot when your trying to get ready, but It was never a problem We was able to just go and grab our own tea, coffee and sugar fron the front desk and if your like me who doesn't like asking for those things from fear of being greedy, it's great just to grab it and staff don't bat an eyelid and even then the the staff are just wonderful and really nice! Breakfast was great! You get to pick what you want and there's a variety of food, not just your standard hot food, there was cereals, yogurts, fruits and pastries, you can even have toast with a side of marmalade, jam, honey and syrup! Best stay ever!

The changing rooms (not the showers) were a bit small and there was a door missing off one of the lockers. The men's showers didn't have any locks and 1 communal shower Bedside light flickered when turned on

Position walking distance from NEC (13 minutes). Very nice structure reminding a Victorian traditional British building. Lovely staff, was very nice having breakfast with Mrs Jane, a really nice woman who let's you feel at home. Nice bar for a night drink. A really nice place to stay

The only very important thing I suggest to the owner is to invest in order to change the tents of the rooms. The ones that are now on the windows let filter all the light and it is really disturbing being awakened by the light at 5 am. All hotels have decent tents that create darkness, and a sleep without the dark is a bas sleep. You can do it, it's easy, doesn't cost too much and it will let your hosted rest all night long

Gym and pool etc were great. The bar area was comfortable and welcoming. The room was quiet, had plugs by the bed inc USB C, and toiletries were provided. We didn't eat there but the restaurant did look nice. Only 5 mins walk from Resorts World if you head up to the main road, so not as far as Google Maps suggests.

The kettle was burnt out and tea/coffee selection was very basic. The hair dryer worked but was very old. Some of the staff weren't super helpful - one came into the gym whilst I was the only one in there just to use his phone to talk to someone about pizza, which was distracting and weird.

Evening meal excellent, breakfast good. Pool/jacuzzi a decent size.

Layout confusing , with little signage to direct you from your room to reception. No supervision in pool/jacuzzi which meant that the dozens of young girls staying dominated meaning it was impossible to use the jacuzzi. Some of the girls staying for a hip hop competition were not well supervised. They had a lot of energy and had were not very considerate in their behaviour. The hotel did their best to respond to complaints eg about children running down the corridors banging doors.

The hotel was perfect for a pre-flight stay (just a 15min walk from the airport!), which made our morning incredibly smooth. While the rooms weren’t the most modern, they were comfortable and totally adequate. We really appreciated the included access to the spa, which added real value to the stay. Room service was also a pleasant surprise: affordable, tasty, and delivered with a smile. We would surely stay here again.

While the room got a bit warm, it was still manageable. Some of the staff interactions felt indifferent or lacking in energy. More going through the motions than genuinely welcoming.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Our room was ok but was badly in need of an update .We used the swimming pool and that also wasn’t looking very fresh either ,the changing room, although small were nice and bright and clean. The breakfast room staff were very helpful and there was a good choice of food for both the full English and Continental. The hotel although close to the airport was actually very very quiet and we slept with our windows open all night and there was very little noise..

For a 4star Hotel the use of very cheap and nasty 2ply toilet paper really lets the place down . The corridors to get to our room were a bit confusing and it was easy to go round in circles ! But that could have just been me!

It was a really lovely welcome and easy check-in and easy check out. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an evening meal, and the restaurant staff were attentive. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Great location for the NEC/Vox

The only reason for taking off a couple of points was because of the room location, over looking an event room that had a disco on till late, as it was hot I would have wanted to keep the window open, but had to close due to the event. Then the clean-up early morning! Good job I brought my ear plugs. I just couldn't imagine what it had been like if I had been there on a leisure break. As it was, I had to be up earlish for the day. This was the only downside.

My room was on the ground floor as I had requested. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, the wet room was clean and adequate, there was tea/coffee making equipment, a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing board. all a guest could need. Plenty of hanging space. The staff are really helpful. Fabulous selection for breakfast.

The floor in the bar had remnants of food on it each time I had a meal in there. This should be checked and cleaned more often. The lighting over the dressing table was totally inadequate, far too dim to see while putting on makeup.

The rooms ,even though old fashioned ,were very clean and a good size with all you needed. Beds were very comfortable so had a good nights sleep. We were going to a concert at BP pulse arena so the hotel is in an excellent position as it’s only a ten minute walk. Also plenty of parking at the hotel which is included in the price of the room.

The price was expensive for a night as it didn’t include breakfast. I understand the location is what you pay for but when I consider I stayed at a five star hotel in the peak district that included breakfast for 2/3 of the price we paid to stay here it makes you wonder why? It was also quite a bit more expensive than we paid when we last stated in February last year. We paid to have breakfast which at £14 per head was disappointing. The food was bland and very much standard buffet offerings. Again a shame as remember enjoying it when we stayed before. The price again was to high fir what we got.

staff , room, pool and food all good

I booked this hotel as it was advertised as walking distance from the NEC...but due to road works and a closed bridge over the train station, there was no way to walk to and from the NEC. This meant taking taxis on every journey and a lot of wasted time trying to walk
