This was by far my favorite stay on my Highlands road trip. The hotel reached out and offered dinner plans, a prosecco boating cruise option and any other way they could make my stay enjoyable. I'd like to thank Martin for making my stay in Loch Lomond so special. He helped arrange the prosecco boat cruise for me and some friends. The women at check in and front desk were amazing as well (sorry, didn't get their names). They had the procecco in a nice little insulated bag and 4 glasses for me and my friends. What a nice touch! My room was in one of the cottages - very well appointed and very comfortable bed. A nice view of the Loch as well. I had lunch outside on the patio before the boat trip among all the hikers making a stop on a sunny day, enjoyed a lovely dinner in the lovely dining room which had a great vibe and then enjoyed the breakfast which had great food choices and was in another lovely dining room of the resort. Staying at The Oak Tree Inn was like being at home in a beautiful location. High recommend.

The location was beautiful, and the variety of rooms was great. We stayed in one of the rooms in a cottage just up the road and it was delightful. It was a dog-friendly room since we brought our puppy, and being on the ground floor made it easy to go outside. They provided bowls for food and water for our dog, along with a lovely bed. Our bed was comfortable, and we had the usual tea and coffee amenities, as well as a hairdryer and a fan. The bathroom was a wet room, and the shower had great pressure, and plenty of hot water. The main pub was also very nice; we had dinner there, and the food and drinks were excellent, with the staff were all friendly. The area is breathtaking, with a fantastic walk around the loch, and there are boat tours available, which we would love to try next time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
The weather was excellent during our stay, but it did make the room rather warm. We turned on the fan, but it was still quite hot at night, and the fan had a bit of a squeaky noise. It wasn't a huge problem, but it did interrupt our sleep. We didn't expect a fridge in the room, but having one would have been really useful for storing dog food.

The hotel was an amazing place to stay, the facility's were the best of the best. They upgraded our room completely for free without us even asking. The shower was really warm and large, the bed was super conformable and even a sofa with a TV! The location was beautiful with some great roads and great views. Also very close to whiskey distilleries which I recommend visiting.
Unfortunately, we had reserved a table for their dinner service. We ordered some pints and burgers. We were oddly surprised when the burgers came out straight away, but were not surprised when they were barely warm and tasted extremely frozen. For this reason if you are wanting a nice place to eat, I would advise not going to the Oak Tree Inn for this.

The location of the Inn is perfect for exploring the local area and beyond. We stayed in one of the standard pods and it was perfect for our needs- very clean and cosy. The breakfast was amazing- a great choice on offer. The quality of cooked options was excellent, as well as the cereal. It was a great way to start the day. We also had dinner in the Inn twice and it was delicious. Highly recommend! We also went to the coffee shop which is a part of the inn and that was brilliant too. The Inn itself is really lovely, each of the dining spaces is decorated in a different way to create a cosy atmosphere. The staff are brilliant- they were really quick to help and make recommendations for gins to try! I was genuinely sad to leave! I would happily stay here again and highly recommend!
Just a little note that breakfast can be busy so I would recommend going earlier if you can.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oak Tree Inn. The Cottages far exceeded our expectations. The fluffiest white towels and clean warm room really made our weekend. The price was a bit more than I’d like to pay for one night (£180) but on a Friday during the English half term it was perhaps expected. The wee shop nearby was possibly the best in Scotland! Lovely produce and reasonably priced, and the chap behind the counter had the best banter. We ate in the pub in the evening, and again were so pleasantly surprised. The portions were generous but of fantastic quality, and the menu varied enough for all tastes and dietary requirements. Overall, the staff at check in and in the pub, along with the Wee shop were just the best, they really made the short stay memorable. Please pass on our thanks. When we plan to return to the area, The Oak Tree Inn will be our first choice every time.
A bit on the pricy side.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Felt so comfortable and at ease. Food was delicious and consistently great. The kitchen and staff are very mindful of food allergies, so dining was stress free. The area is beautiful and unmatched- peaceful and the people visiting are all respectful of the surroundings and each other. There is great accessibility to transportation and many hikes. We loved everything about our stay and will be back!

We stayed here for a night to shorten our trip back home. We could not have picked a better place. The area was buzzing with people when we arrived. The Accommodation was immaculately clean, we had a dog friendly room with its own outside seating area. The room was located in a cottage just next to the Oak Tree Inn. The dog was made very welcome. Staff- All very welcoming and friendly. The evening meal was delicious, we had steak pie and chicken and leek pie. The breakfast was also top notch. The only disappointment was that we only had one night here. The place is fab! From someone who is extremely critical of cleanliness and staffs attitude. Thank you! There was also a shop and a cafe which were located next to the Inn which are very convenient. We will most definitely be booking again! Ideal for people with pets, people who like to be out walking or just relaxing. We have never visited the East Side of Loch Lomond previously but so pleased we did, it has just made us love Scotland even more.

Dinner and an extra night stay with breakfast. Our car broke down near Glasgow and we arrived by recovery lorry in the early hours. Reception were very helpful and left keys in the key safe. We found a helpful lady from the bar the following morning and The receptionist on Thursday morning was very helpful to me after I fell over outside, she sorted an ice pack and the lovely blonde haired lady offered me a seat and comfort in the bar. We then booked another nights stay with no trouble. They were so helpful when we needed it.

Fantastic area. Nice and quiet and a challenging big hill to climb! Picturesque surroundings. I would recommend this area if you are looking to chill or passing through doing some hill walking. There is not a lot of things nearby, but this area does have a small shop and cafe as well as the hotel. Breakfast is a buffet style and has everything you need to start your day. Superior pods are probably the way to go or stay in part of a cottage.
Unfortunately, I have an allergen to chilli and I ordered the burger without sweet chilli, but it came with it anyway. Luckily I noticed and it was replaced with a new one. The staff kindly removed this from my bill. Maybe Allergen advice can be the first point when asking for the order.
