Room was a great size and well kitted out, with beds comfortable too. It was very warm when I went, and there were fans in the room to help with this (which at least helped a bit). Liked the location with the loch only a short walk away. Bar/restaurant was lovely, and liked the food I had from there. Staff all friendly and welcoming. And there was free parking too!

Not really a criticism as no fault of hotel, but there was no air con and it was about 23 degrees. That made for a very warm room even at that temp. Just something to be aware of if booking during a heatwave

The Location was perfect. Right beside the train station. Loch Lomond shores is less than a 10 minute walk or you can take a bus, the stop is right beside the station too. The restraunt was busy so much that they ran out of food and my child and i had to go somewhere else for dinner.

The doors to the room were heavy, which made it difficult for someone with a disability. It was easier to access the accessible rooms by going outside and through the cars park. The only small issue is that it was very noisy with cars coming in and staff leaving through the back door. My child is autistic and the noise of the cars revving late ant night into the car park caused him distress.

We used the hotel restaurant for breakfast was pretty good, there was alsk the option of cereal for the kids but the only options were coco pops and porridge, definitely think they should have a couple of other options for cereal. I also had an issue with my card at payment for breakfast but the staff were accommodating and helped solve the issue by adding the breakfast to my room. The room was fantastic, the space we had in the superior family room was more than enough. 2 bathrooms with bath and shower which was an amazing bonus. Large table in the middle of the room for up to 6 to sit at with plenty of room. There was also a fan in the room and it was extremely appreciated in this hot weather. Even better location, a minutes walk from the train station, next to other restaurants, pubs and close to the parks

We booked the large family room but we were surprised just how big it was! Two large double beds, 3 single beds and a travel cot - plenty of space for sleeping! The room was immaculately clean, lots of clean towels, plenty of tea/coffee. The bathrooms were great - we had two which we didn’t know about but for a room that size it was amazing. Our room had its own private entrance that was directly connected to the car park - made it much easier lugging everything in from the car, but we were also connected internally to the bar/restaurant so didn’t have to go outside if it’s cold. The room had a large table with 6 chairs, tv where you could log in to Netflix, fast wifi, a fan, wardrobe space with a hairdryer and soap etc in bathrooms. It really was a great space and we were so happy we found it! There was a party next door who has clearly had a good night and karaoke started after 9pm, we put up with it but around 11.30 we rang the hotel porter number - the lady was great and was straight down to ask them to be quiet. We didn’t want to be party poopers but with two young kids and a long journey home we needed the sleep. We really appreciate how quickly you handled the situation 👍🏼 We had booked for breakfast with a family member who lives in Balloch for the Sunday morning. The food and drinks were amazing - lovely decor! We will definitely be back, thank you!

Hard to get a parking space at the hotel - there was only one space in the whole car park which was disabled (I have a blue badge) but I was worried about moving the car and losing the spot and having to walk far.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spectacularly clean and very nice. The TV was a nice bonus, and the WiFi worked great. The man that signed us in was fantastic and very nice, as were the people who served us breakfast. We didn't hear much from other rooms, but we weren't sure if anyone was in the room next to us.

It was kind of sad to hear that breakfast wasn't included in the price, but i'm not sure if that's something I could have selected or not while booking. The room was a teeny bit warm, but nothing that wasn't fixed by opening a window :)

The hotel was lovely. Staff on arrival were friendly and professional. Des introduced himself to us and our children. He went the extra mile and added a birthday balloon to our room as a surprise for our sons third birthday. Really appreciate that little sentiment and our wee boy was delighted! Thank you! Our room was just fab. Spotlessly clean, modern, comfy beds, the room was big and more than enough space for us all, two bathrooms which was a lovely surprise. We had a ground floor room so had our own main door to use to enter/exit the room to go outside. Breakfast in the restaurant was so yummy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you and would return here and also recommend to others too! Thank you for a great stay!

The group next door to us were extremely loud throughout the night. I was kept awake for over 2 hours. I am a light sleeper though, the noise didn’t wake my husband or children, thankfully. This isn’t the hotels fault and we’d definitely still return here for another stay in the future. I just wish other people staying in hotels would be more respectful to others, especially through the night. It wouldn’t stop me booking this hotel again though as everything about this hotel and the staff was all just fantastic!

The property was in a great location for exploring the local area with Loch Lomond only 15 mins away by car , train station is at the end of the street along with Sweeneys cruises if you wanted to boat over , there was also an information point in the shop nearby where the staff were very friendly and helpful in advising us on our options . The hotel itself was extremely clean , with wonderful staff who made us feel so welcome - the breakfast is a must 😍

There was not much not to like about the hotel , apart from the hotel restaurant being shut from 4 but we are aware that’s just because it was still out of season .

Location was great, 3 mins from sea life center :) lots of supermarkets and eating places. Family rooms are huge! Even have a dining table which was great for the kids to sit and do activities and eat their snacks. Mattresses are soooo comfortable!

Would have liked breakfast to have been included in price as was only 2 adults, 2x 5 year olds and a 2 year old. But breakfast menu was of fair price! Music after 11pm (it was a Saturday though and not sure if it was coming from hotel or elsewhere) Was hard to settle hearing bass boom boom

Property was very well kept, our family room felt very new and cosy, the staff were amazing and were very friendly and helpful, we totally enjoyed our stay, the room was perfect with all amenities we needed, the two door room was brilliant you could exit through the hotel or exit straight into the car park which was perfect to unpack the car. We all slept well and the room for October was warm enough without having to use the heating, we had two bathrooms which was perfect for 4 people and we all appreciated a nice hot bath, lots of tea and coffee supplied and a nice supply of biscuits, breakfast was amazing, and worth it for the extra charge, food was perfect and a very good selection. We really wish we could have stayed longer, and wouldn’t hesitate to return and use this hotel again, highly recommend.

We loved the indoor/outdoor access. The staff was fantastic, they were so helpful and just lovely. They helped us get a taxi to the distillery and went above and beyond. The room was plenty big for our family of 5 and the 2 bathrooms was such a welcomed addition. The hotel was so close to food/ drinks. We took a wonderful walk down to the park and the old castle. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in town.
