Room 5 was decorated to a very high standard, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. I really enjoyed room service dinner and a bubble bath after a long travel day. The whole experience felt quite luxurious at such a good value price! Breakfast the next morning was delicious and generous with both a continental selection and a hot menu with multiple choices to order from. The location was lovely, in a lovely building and quiet despite the restaurant downstairs. It had plenty of parking with CCTV, and was a short walk from the river Leven and the mouth of Loch Lomond.

Breakfast service was a little slower than I expected

Location is perfect. Easy to find, plenty parking and opposite the Loch lomond cruise. Near to shore shops and castle. Plenty to do in area on foot. My second time staying, it's ideal on the way back from touring around. Check in and out is efficient, staff friendly and helpful. Both rooms I've stayed in are spacious, clean and bright with everything I needed to settle in. It's next to Balloch railway station but no excessive noise, its very handy for day trips. Food is good and breakfast is a mix of cereal, yoghurt, fruit and several hot choices. Live music on a Friday which is great for the night cap at bar. And I couldn't hear it when I went up to room. Very comfortable bed.

As with previous review, nothing significant to note.

We had an exceptional time at Tullie from the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and courteous. Check-in was a breeze and the room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was inclusive and the food options were enjoyable. The bar area and outside beer gardens were also great to utilise. Parking available on site and side access to accommodation area if staying out later than when the front doors are locked for the evening. Access to local tours on the Loch easy access from hotel just across the road.

The train station near by the hotel early train in morning for whatever reason sat idling for an extended period, for those that don't know trains in Scotland are diesel powered not electric. As it was during warmer weather window was open but would assume normally closed

Great location, in the centre of Balloch. Nice big beer garden & outside seating at the front of the Inn. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast. Clean & comfortable room. Balloch is a lovely village on the edge of Loch Lomond with several pubs, restaurants & a good fish & chip shop open till 10pm! We booked a boat tour which was great & departed just over the road from the Tullie Inn.

The room was clean & comfortable, very warm but it was exceptionally warm weather. The window opened slightly & there was a fan in the room. The bar & restaurant area is really nice but the stairs & rooms are very traditional & could benefit from some refurbishment.

I have stayed here for three years in a row when travelling to a nearby event. As a sole female traveller sometimes pubs can be a bit intimidating at times. I have always felt extremely comfortable here, the staff look out for you and check in with you and the facilities are excellent. Always manage to park outside in the pub carpark and have had a great night sleep in a very comfortable, spotlessly clean bedroom. Have stayed in 3 different rooms and all are of the same quality. I have also recommended the Tullie Inn to others.

If I am being super picky...I would prefer a bit more choice for breakfast as a vegetarian, but it honestly is not a deal breaker as the offering is absolutely adequate.

The rooms were nice. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing as always.

The rooms were too warm even with 2 fans on full continuously. We also had the beer garden at the back where the room was situated which was noisy late into the night. Also the TV was in a weird position as the person on the right side of the bed had limited view. It would have been better if the wardrobe/storage space was closer to the window with the TV on the wall where the wardrobe/ storage space is currently. We also couldn't plug the fire stick in due to the way the TV was fixed to the wall.

We were surprised that it was litterally right next to the train station, which was handy when heading back. The Tullie Inn was clean and inviting. The staff were really lovely, fun and attentive. I loved that even on checkout day, we were allowed to leave our luggage and then pick them up later that day. My friend and I were in Loch Lomond for the kilt walk, so it was decently close to the location. Our room was cosy and clean, had nice amenities, and had a massive tv. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it wasn't too bad, but the price was pretty good. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again ♡

Arrived by train and is literally right next to station. Free car parking available too. We received a very friendly welcome from staff. Arrived a little early, but the room was ready. Didn't spend any time in room other than sleeping but it was nice and cosy. Really comfortable beds, got a good nights sleep. Small bathroom with walk in shower cubicle, lovely Arran soaps etc provided. Huge fluffy white towels. I usually guage stay by good quality toiletries and towels. Plenty hanging space. Big modern fan, and Nespresso coffee machine. Didn't eat dinner as we like to go out but returned for drinks in bar which was very nice. Plenty seats for relaxing with a wine or having food. Breakfast was lovely, usual choices, Self service for juice, yogurt, cereal and toast. Freshly made hot food. Will definitely return

What's not to like

We had a lovely stay at the Tullie Inn last night. We had a family room which was huge, one room with twin beds, one with a double and a huge family bathroom with big bath and a shower. The staff were brilliant, very attentive but not overpowering. The guy who checked us in also served our food and was very informative on both the menu and the local area. The food was delicious, you know it’s a good menu when you really can’t decide what to go for. Breakfast was served in the conservatory, I can recommend the Eggs Benedict. We’ll stay here again if in the Loch Lomand area

Nothing to note, it was perfect for what we wanted

The room was nice. Could do with a bit of tlc as hasn't been redecorated for some time but wouldn't put us off staying there again. Bed so comfy, slept like a baby. Good selection on tea tray and there was also a coffee machine in the room. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Can't do enough for you. Hotel location was perfect. Right next to Balloch train station. Across the road from Balloch park, if you fancied a lovely walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious 😋. Compliments to the chef. Really set us up for the day ahead. Would highly recommend The Tullie Inn to all my family and friends. We will certainly be staying there again.
