Nicely located hotel with adjacent Marston Inns pub providing us with dinner and breakfast. The location enables exploration of the southern end of Loch Lomond which is a very pretty waterfront area with scenic views and some nice walks. We only stayed for one night but had an enjoyable walk around the park and waterfront area. The room is similar to a Travelodge standard, comfortable, warm and well-equipped.

Nothing, all good and great value.

The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and the air conditioning was just right keeping the room cool during the night. The location was spot on with Loch Lomond and some of the attractions only a short drive away. which was useful as the one of our party uses a wheelchair. We found all of the staff really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant every night during our stay and found that there was a nice choice of meals. We had requested two rooms on the ground floor close together and this had been arranged with no issue. This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel the first time being a few years ago and would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

Large and exceptionally clean room with en-suite. Huge very comfortable bed with plump pillows. Fab shower as powerful and easy to use, plus big towels which were great. Lots of space in the room for luggage. Very quiet and great for a good sleep. All staff were super friendly and attentive and made us feel really welcome on arrival and all three nights that we stayed. Very generous refills of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Plenty of parking outside the accommodation. Breakfast in the restaurant area of the pub good value for money with continental and full available. All in all we throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Nothing to dislike.

This is my second time staying and it was just as good as the first. The staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate me as a person that needs assistance and accessibility and they were as warm and welcoming as could be wished for. I didn’t get everyone’s names but the poor manager with broken ankle and Rebecca in the evening were just fantastic and everyone else I dealt with were of the same friendly high standard. The chef also needs a mention as I chanced a carvery (only the medium and it was huge, lord alone knows how big the large portion is!) and it was without doubt the best one I’ve ever had. The red cabbage and Yorkshire pudding were amazing and I can’t compliment enough. Another comfortable, lovely stay and will definitely be back. Thank you one and all!

I haven’t worked out a way to tip electronically as no one really carries cash anymore. Please set up a way to do so, your staff all deserve it!

The room was reasonably spacious and pleasant, the location close to Glasgow, which was important to us. The breakfast was tasty. The value for money was good. I would choose to stay there again.

Even though there were curtains, some street light still came through the window. The pillows were a bit too large for our taste — we would have preferred smaller, softer ones. Having two separate duvets on the double bed would have been ideal. The GPS did not lead us directly to the accommodation, which was a bit stressful — we even drove past it without noticing.

Very convenient location. The staff were excellent, they really made every effort they could to accommodate any requests although this was at times a challenge for them due not having what they needed, for example a working coffee machine. The room was a fair price for what it was and food prices were ok. The carvery was the best we have ever had. Drinks were over priced and choice was a bit limited. Bailey should be served in 50ml not 25ml. Although the choice was limited and a bit over priced we still enjoyed going as the staff really made it a lovely welcoming and comfortable place to go. Every single person we spoke to from the bar, restaurant, kitchen, reception and housekeeping were outstanding.

Drink choice and prices.

The hotel is at the edge of Balloch and the place is easily reachable on foot. There are walking/hiking routes within walking distance from the hotel. Plenty of parking spots, and a nice pub/restaurant attached. We had daily breakfast and dinner there and the meals were excellent, plenty of choice too! The people living in the area are also visiting, it's a very welcoming place. The meals are reasonably priced, and easily customizable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, good bed, quiet surroundings. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and would offer information about the area when asked; they would be very approachable and show genuine interest in the guests' comfort and how they spent their day.

The shower didn't have a handheld piece, so not getting one's hair wet when showering was a bit tricky (but doable in the end).

My room was quite big and comfortable. The hotel is located a short walk to the center of Balloch. The hotel is a shared property with the Queen of the Loch restaurant and pub, which made it convenient for visitors wanting to eat without driving.

The internet was horrible. It cut out constantly; worst I’ve come across in years and unacceptable for an otherwise nice hotel. I also did not like having to walk over to the restaurant to check-in and for all other issues I needed to discuss with staff. It also seemed strange to not provide breakfast, except for additional charge, when the room price was comparable to guest houses and B&Bs that do. Overall, to corporate and impersonal for me despite the nice room.

Staff were excellent, had a little problem with booking of 6 rooms. ( not there fault as I should have requested one of the rooms be a handicap room on ground floor ) They spent lots of time trying to rearrange rooms to accommodate us and it wasn’t an easy task as they were fully booked,as frustrating as it was they did it with great patience. All the staff were great, very pleasant and helpful. The place was great but it was the staff that would definitely make me stay there again .

Photos really oversold this. Basically they’ve built a block of teensy flats between a pub and a busy road. Selling a family room at an increased rate and simply squeezing beds in so there is no where to walk through isn’t fair. Was very secure which was nice. Staff in the pub when we went for dinner just didn’t seem to want to be there and the food was not impressive, particularly for the tourist pricing. We skipped Brekky for this reason. Unless needing a quick stop over between other places, would not recommend.
