Location is great. We had a very nice room with view on the lake. We enjoyed the High Tea Experience in the afternoon of our arrival with many delicious spicy and sweet bites. Loma restaurant for dinner was amazing. We had the summer tasting menu and the vegetable tasting menu. The vegetarian version was very sophisticated and a pleasure to eat (not an alibi menu as it can be found in many places). The service was very attentive. We played a round of golf (which is a bit away from the hotel along the road). Carrick Golf course is an interesting one, with some challenges and beautiful views.

It was the start of our honeymoon and Cameron House exceeded expectations in delivering a fantastic stay. The only bad thing is we only stayed one night, front staff exceptional, facilities and bars fantastic, grounds are amazing and our room with balcony overlooking Loch Lomond was a top class touch along with bottle of champagne for the room. Definately stay again in future years for an anniversary.

Only stayed one night. We didn't manage to use our Cameron House voucher we got for our wedding at the restaurant as it was not part of Cameron House itself. We should have checked this before though.

The location is wonderful, directly across from Loch Lomond. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant stay

Room and corridor cleanliness could be improved. The breakfast area tends to be busy; the food selection is good, though it is repeated daily. Regarding reception, I had emailed at the time of booking to request two connecting rooms and even spoke with the front desk manager upon arrival. Although I showed him their email reply, he mentioned they had not received my request. He kindly offered nearby rooms instead and promised to arrange connecting rooms the next day, but unfortunately, this did not happen .

Cameron House absolutely exceeded our expectations. This was the last stay we had booked in after completing the north coast 500 route. The location/surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, right on Loch Lomond. On arrival, we were greeted by very friendly staff. Lyndsey on reception was lovely, friendly and welcoming. They gave us some ESPA treats and some drinks tokens as we were on our honeymoon. Lyndsey checked us in early and agreed to call us when our room was ready (which was just as we left to get our luggage from the car!). Our luggage was taken to the room. Our room was beautiful, we had a large balcony which overlooked the loch. The room was very dog friendly with a bed, treats and bowls. We had gowns and slippers for spa use. My husband was playing 18 holes at the Carrick Course and I used the swimming pool and walked the dog in the incredible surrounding grounds. We ate that evening at the Cameron Grill and the food was fantastic as well as the service. We had a wonderful breakfast the next morning. We loved our stay and didnt want to leave but are looking to come back in December to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Thank you for an incredible stay :)

The check-in process was good - the young lady at the desk was very nice. We had been to the property before for lunch but we did not realize how far away the front desk is from the parking area. Good to note that you can driver right up to the front door and the concierge will park your car for you. Once inside, you will have a long walk with lots of stairs to get to your room. Yes they do have lifts as well.

The property is truly lovely. I would advise people that in July, when we were there - there are a lot of midges and cleg's. They can make it uncomfortable to be outside - literally we got bitten night and day. Nothing can be done about them except taking precautions. We walked down to their restaurant that is on the loch - a lovely spot. However, the hostess was not pleasant and the service was very slow. You had to ask the wait staff for everything. We even poured our own wine as the bottle just sat in the bucket - no one offered to pour it for us. Not a big deal but at the prices that you pay and the quality of the restaurant, you would think the service would be exemplary.

Staff were excellent and the whole experience was lovely from start to finish and they were very helpful. Food was lovely and the best breakfast with so much choice and felt like you weren't rushed at all with anything, Beautiful scenery and setting and there was also a wedding too. We had the champagne cruise and it was amazing and would definitely do that again.

Very surprised at how many children were there at this 5 star hotel, the pool area was very crowded with children and I feel the main pool should be for adults only as there is already a kids pool next to it and if your wanting to swim its very hard to do with kids jumping and splashing all the time, but apart from that it was excellent.

Quite simply stunning! The hotel was a wonderful blend of old and modern with the new extensions blending seamlessly with the old internally and complementing each other externally. Our room was stunning, beautifully appointed and decorated and so comfortable. The location of the hotel on the shores of the loch gave this property additional charm especially at sunset! Stunning views and a great relaxing atmosphere. The pool, hot tub and gym were outstanding - certainly one of the biggest we've visited in a hotel. The breakfast was an experience worthy of the stay alone! Such a selection of cooked items and continental style offerings, beautifully cooked and presented. The table of pastries and breads was quite magnificent. The staff were wonderful, very attentive in a positive way and clearly enjoy working in such a special place.

Overall stay was amazing and very special. Treatments at spa were outstanding. Views of Loch Lomond speak for themselves. Breakfast for coeliac was best we’ve ever had. Features of hotel very good including spectacular bar area. Main hotel staff were generally brilliant.

Hate to mark down but for a 5 star hotel there are a few important details that would help it improve: Spa changing facilities a bit dated and lockers all malfunctioning. We had issues with online booking system. Had to call everyone. Car parks are riddled with potholes and very muddy to walk through. Limited parking. Needs substantial improvements to outside lighting at night. Can’t walk anywhere without a torch as it’s pitch black. For the money it would be nice to have some more included with rooms. No refreshments. Beds were amazing but bedding were very basic and pillows were far too soft Service and food quality was average in La Vista restaurant but pricey for what you got. £15 for a drink at the bar is very off putting.

This hotel was really an amazing, me and my husband loved everything on it. we loved the view of the hotel it was in the front of the Loch Lomond immediately plus it was quite and comfortable place . If you want to run away from your busy day I really recommend this hotel for relaxation and comfort. Also, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Plus that the hotel have a different activities you can book for it , such bike riding, cinema, fishing and more others. Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay.

Nothing everything was amazing

The hotel was comfortable and quiet.food was excellent..room was nice and warm .staff were lovely and helpful.Valet service was also good.

Phoned reception a couple of times for extra water.and had to phone again after a couple of hours as the water hadn't arrived.Thermal and hydro spa experience we had booked as a treat was definitely a bit run down..loads of rust on grill vents ..flaky plaster and paint...main swimming pool also flaky plaster and paint not a nice look..our hot stones and pedicure well worth the wait ..leanne was a lovely girl and extremely helpful.
