As we walked into our room the smell of fresh linen hit us, lovely! Really good, powerful shower. Breakfast was unexpectedly good. We were initially disappointed straight after booking that the cooked breakfast we were looking forward to was vegetarian, but actually really enjoyed the cereal and pancakes with fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) and squirty cream. My husband had porridge which he really enjoyed too.

Woken up in the early hours by someone in an adjacent room coming in - the door bangs and the walls were a little thin, we could hear their voices. Trains are very nearby but we weren't woken by any in the night.

The rooms were newly done and exceptionally clean. We were on a road trip in Scotland for a week, and this was our last day as we couldn’t find any hotel close to Loch Lomond, we decided to stay here which is 18mins drive which we didn’t mind. I can, with no doubts, say this was our best stay in Scotland including the breakfast which was good too considering the price(couldn’t have asked for more) The host was very welcoming and the young girl who works there was very polite to talk to. This was my best ever experience throughout the trip. Keep up the good work! Thanks ❤️

It was great except the young girl was not forth with when you asked her a question she did not respond to well example; my friend asked her a question but she did not answer so my friend had to keep asking the girl so this happened quite a few times, but if you are working in this environment then you should look up to see if you are being spoken too but she did not so we gave her the benefit of the doubt & said she may not have known we were speaking to her but no

The hotel owners, a family, were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They let us leave two large cycle carrier cases with them for a week whilst we were touring the Highlands. The hotel is very conveniently located close to Craigendoran station, less than 2 hours from Edinburgh airport. It was a perfect location for the beginning and end of our holiday in Scotland. The breakfast, waffles with fresh fruit, amazing. My husband enjoyed his full English too even though it was vegan. Room very clean and comfortable.

There were very few staff around. We waited around for someone to appear at breakfast time and there was no one around as we checked out, so we just left our key on the desk. Frontage would benefit from a spruce up. Maybe some flowers etc. As we arrived I was oh dear what have I booked but inside was ok.

The room and all of the hotel facilities were very clean and tidy. The vegetarian breakfast was good (and very different). The location was great for the plans my sister and I made. The staff (i.e. the young Asian girl who seemed to do everything) was lovely and extremely helpful. Although the hotel is next to a busy road, the noise was very manageable.

The veggie breakfast was good except for the bacon which obviously wasn't bacon. Not my cup of tea! Only problem was that the shower door wasn't fitted properly but we still managed to use it. Apart from that, well done.

Very relaxed, helpful and pleasant people. Room and facilities generous and good. They were happy to help with extra requests. Despite being close to main road, it was very peaceful. We came from an international flight landing at Glasgow and it took less than an hour of straightforward driving to stay here.They happily provided a minimal dinner request from us. Food was good.

The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. It's in a good location which was easy to find. The breakfast menu is vegan (which I had never tried before) but it was well cooked and extremely tasty. Overall, it was very clean, well appointed and good value. I'd definitely stay here again.

A lift would be useful for heavy cases. But the very nice gentleman at the front desk did give us great assistance with our luggage. Parking is a little restricted on site, but it appeared that on-street parking might be an option.

We spent 3 night in the county hotel. The room and the bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable with a small fridge.We had multiple choice for breakfast. It was meatfree but it felt same as the original english breakfast so we were fully satisfied. There are around 6-7 places for cars and a morrisson 10-15 minutes on foot. I can recommend this place very much

The hotel has a good process for handling late check-ins which was essential for me. Room was larger than I expected and the bed was soft and comfortable. Decent enough shower. I wouldn't be unhappy with the prospect of spending a few days here.

The bathroom had unfrosted glass in the window. The blinds weren't closed when I first wandered through. Not sure if any properties overlook the hotel but they might have had a shock... The hotel gets points for including a free breakfast, but service was quite slow, I was really needing to throw some food down my throat and get going, not enjoy a leisurely meal.
