Perfect family break. We booked The Gleddoch already aware that the Spa facilities were unavailable, however staff still.went out their way to reach out to us by phoning to make sure we knew as they did not want our break to be ruined if we had booked solely for the Spa. Thee most beautiful hotel with stunning views. Room was immaculately clean and very spacious with a beautiful view of the golf course. Hotel reception is beautiful and we were greeted with a lovely very helpful friendly girl at check-in. The restaurant has the most beautiful views. Staff there went above and beyond to cater to our sons needs. Food was served quickly and was the best food we have all had in a restaurant for some time. Overall this hotel is one of the best we have stayed at, it has everything you need for a perfect quiet family break, stunning views, great food, beautiful spotless rooms and lovely, kind, helpful polite staff. Without a doubt, a 10/10. There is not one single negative thing to say about this beautiful place. Thank you Gleddoch for a beautiful stay.

The staff are attentive, professional and helpful. The hotel itself is in a fabulous setting and once the spa facilities are re-opened I am sure it will take some beating! I have visited many times over the years and I am always happy to be there. Room was lovely. Large executive room with river view. It was warm and inviting on arrival, heating on, window open a little to ventilate and the lighting on which is lovely when arriving on a late winter afternoon.

I was travelling alone and it would have been good if the room service menu had choice around simpler items such as Club Sandwich/fries/soup combo. It felt a waste to order a beautiful locally sourced meal to my room although the choice should be there for those who want it.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. the bar staff was very passionate and knew alot about their craft 👏 the golfing shop staff was excellent on advising us what we needed to go the range. the food was incredible Will most definitely be returning

we arrived and the coffee tank was full of grime but the staff did replace as soon as we asked. the wardrobes and drawers left our clothes full dust so was having to wipe them down every day. the hotel is full of stairs so quiet hard to get suitcase up and down none of this put a dampener on our 5 days though.

Location and updated. Staff were very attentive and couldn’t do more to help. Spa staff were lovely.

Although I had been upgraded to a family room free of charge there was still stairs which had to be climbed to and from room. And also a large set of stairs at the spa. Couldn’t walk outside as it was freezing and although gritted I wasn’t comfortable walking down the hill. Might be good to look at more accessibility for disabled and older guests. Also put electric charges right in front of the annexe area is ridiculous the disabled spaces should be there and the electric spaces at the back.

Most staff were incredibly friendly and made the effort to ask how your day was going and if there was anything they could do to help. My back massage (deep tissue)at the spa was amazing. The cooked breakfast was lovely with good quality produce. Decent coffee or the option to add as an extra would be appreciated.

Manicure for my daughter was a little overpriced considering the varnish did not dry and was peeling off within one hour. I didn’t complain at the time however, because my back massage by Theresa was so fantastic. She paid such attention to the problem areas and was so nice that I didn’t want to moan about the nails, but feedback may allow them to address this for other customers.

Beautiful location, wish we could have stayed longer! The restaurant served the best meal we have eaten during our trip in Scotland. The room was lovely with a stunning view. The staff were all so friendly we felt welcome, the bar tender was really informative and provided us with a great whisky tasting

The windows in the bedroom were really dirty which kind of spoiled the view, at breakfast if you want any coffee that is not the filtered coffee they provide it is an extra charge which felt unreasonable considering we paid extra to have breakfast included in our stay.

It was an amazing experience! We initially booked a room with one full bed, but later requested an upgrade to the Super King room. We arrived very late, and maybe that’s why they decided not to charge us for the upgrade - our tired faces must have said it all! 😄 Check-in was quick, they helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor, and the staff was incredibly polite - I’d give them 12 out of 10 for that. The room was very spacious, the bed was huge, and the mattress was perfect for a good night’s sleep. It was also incredibly quiet at night, almost as if we were staying far away from civilization. They provided slippers and robes, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. They even added an anti-fog spray on the mirror, so it stayed clear after a hot shower - a really thoughtful touch. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, there’s a parking lot, and the area is home to many cute rabbits (be careful when driving at night!).

The only thing we missed in the room was a small fridge, as we’d brought some food with us due to our late arrival, but even that wouldn’t affect my rating.

The view from our room was fabulous, looking out over the hot tub and the estuary. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was nice, too. Staff we encountered were nice, friendly and professional. Breakfast was nice, good selection of food and beautiful views. The pool was warm, towels were provided. The views from the hot tub made it all the more special. The train station was very close to the hotel with plenty of free on street parking available.

I personally prefer a kettle, rather than a Nespresso machine. I would have liked oat milk at breakfast but it was not an option. I did notice a few areas needing a little attention, such as a chipped table in the hallway, the tea tray in the room needed a clean, there was also a pair of socks in the bedside drawer on our arrival.

We are everything but golfers, but we liked the hotel. The rooms were readonably big, the bathrooms were modernly designed. I liked that they had prepared heaters if you feel cold during the scottisch summer. The restaurant looked very good, but we didn't have time to try it out. There were bunnies on the gras - how sweet!

The hotel is far from new, and although good maintained, it needs refreshment. We stayed for only one night, we arrived late in the evenening and left early in the morning, but they requested a deposit for the room, which was returned by checkout - I'm a tourist, not a vandal... It was not a big problem, but I was surprized, because I was never asked for a deposit for one night.

Our bedroom on the Lomond suite was just what I wanted, both in room size and decor. The bathroom had a walk in shower and room to move around in. The view from our bedroom will was beautiful, shame about the weather on some of the days. The Spa, swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi were immaculate and gave one a atmosphere of relaxation. My husband played a round of golf on the beautiful course along with me and our 2 small dogs on the buggy. The views are amazing and the course quite challenging due to hidden wee burns dotted around the course.

We would have liked the menu to have been more varied e.g it was the same menu every day for lunch and evening meal. No chicken or beef on the menu other than a burger or very small steak and ale pie. As we had 2 small dogs with us we were in the bar dining room next to the main restaurant. This was not a problem for us, but it would have been nice if staff could have set the table with sugar, salt and pepper and other accoutrements without having to ask for them every time we used the dinning room. I was also surprised to see a couple sitting in bathrobes at lunch time in the main resterant, apparently no dress code in this area!!!!
