Very welcome after our first day walking the West Highland Way. Collected our luggage, checked in and lovely hot shower. Very accommodating of our little dog too. Our daughter and her mother-in-law were in a pod further down the Rd and the Drymen staff helped arrange a taxi to bring them to the Drymen where we all ate a delicious meal. One of the staff even drove them back to their pod afterwards. So lovely of them we were very grateful. Me and my husband slept like a log as bed so comfy. Lovely brekkie to set us in our way. Thankyou to all the staff for our best stay on the West Highland Way.

Nothing. It was all great.

The staff ( Jackie) checked us in, served us at bar and breakfast the next day, very friendly and efficient and works hard.

We stayed on a Sat night and they had live music which was very loud ( excellent band ) but we had been up from 4am and had an early start the next morning Jackie did tell us when we checked in. Maybe just don’t book over the weekend if you need your sleep but understand the bar has to run these nights to bring in the people. By midnight it was all over and we slept well.

Friendly staff, very good value for money, choice of food for dinner good and plenty of it. Breakfast very filling and delicious set us up for a good day. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was comfortable and quiet so slept well each night. Loved the fact that we didn’t have to get up early for breakfast we strolled down 9/9.30 most mornings so very relaxing. Loved our stay. ❤️❤️

This is hard but if being a little nit picky I would say it would be nice to have 2 bath sheet sized towels as we got 1 bath sheet and 1 standard bath towel - bath sheets are much better in my preference

Had the small double at the back of the Inn. It was quiet comfortable bed. A small shower compartment but fine for us. The breakfast was a good portion. The restaurant busy for breakfast at 8am the waitresses where helpful and pleasant. A little wait for cooked breakfast but that was good as freshly prepared. We did the b and b evening meal. Good value for money. Would go back again. Spar shop opposite very well stocked. Very much caters for the walkers Beer garden, half enclosed seating and then seating in conservatory food can be eaten at all areas. .

Only one slight criticism could be price of the drinks.

Great location in the lovely little village of Drymen with 2 other pubs, a bakery/coffee shop and a spar. A great stop on the way up to Scotland very close to Loch Lomond. In the West Highland Way and Rob Roy walking routes. We had dinner, bed and breakfast for £126, amazing value. The food was great with big portions. The staff are friendly and they welcome dogs for £10 each.

Only a very minor point… We stayed in room 3. It had a huge bed (which was actually too big for the room and made it very tight). It wasn’t very comfortable. The springs boinged during the night and it squeaked every time you moved. Otherwise a brilliant stay, our second visit and we’d definitely return

Very friendly and helpful staff. Charming building ( we are from Australia) in an equally charming village location Our room was comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from downstairs. Breakfasts were excellent as was our evening meal one night.Good location for visits to Loch Lomond Stirling Castle

The many stairs up to our room-- but as I said, we are Aussies and stairs are not a feature in Australia. So that was all part of the experience

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had dinner at the Hotel and the food was extremely good and served to us by a very friendly member of staff. Breakfast in the morning was also very good and again served by our Hostess who was extremely friendly and cheerful.

The shower was not great. There was hardly any power behind the water flow and the sliding door was hard to move. As said previously, the food was very good but, to be honest, the portions were gigantic. Sadly this can be as off putting as poor food. I suppose it is better than too small a portion but it really did not suit us.

Room a little bit tired. Adjoining properties dog a little too loud, persistent and vocal for my liking. Also, I was probably unlucky but there was clearly a dog with abandonment issues left alone in a nearby room. The whimpering and howling went on for around 90 minutes , the new normal.

We had the best time!! I've not long had a baby boy, and we have a 2 year old daughter too & I've been keeping really poorly with lots of doctors and hospital appointments. To say we needed this break is an understatement lol. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They went above and beyond, especially with my request for a birthday balloon for my partner. The food was phenomenal, drinks were amazing especially the pornstar martini! The pub was so cosy and welcoming. Everything was clean. The locals were the best! There's a big carpark right beside the drymen inn, and a handy shop across the road I'm sure was open til 10pm weekends. There's a couple of nearby pubs too. The lady who greeted us & served us all night (baby brain- can't remember your name) was such a gem, funny, upbeat, beautiful soul inside & out - absolute credit to the drymen in!

Reviews state the rooms are small. Our particular room was a great size! No complaints whatsoever from us.

We first choose to go for one night with half pension but we found put that the surrounding was to beautiful to run through. Parking is close to the premises. We had room number 3 and is was a small but comfortable room. We where making a roundtrip through Scotland and had a big suitcase and a trolley with us. Nice bar in Wednesday a pub quiz and Friday till Sunday music. We had 2 nights with half pension and could choose different things from the menu. Breakfast was a joy a specially when Jennifer was putting on her Scottish playlist. Coffee and tea on the room and if there isn’t enough you can grap it from the corridor. Pizza was homemade and breakfast was jumm.
