Everything was better than I expected and was great value for money. There was no dinner available but I was helped with a take away which I could eat in the restaurant with great service provided. Breakfast was also excellent

It was winter but the room was very warm and I slept with the window wide open! The only thing which was a bit of a shame was an scruffy porch which did not give the best impression and belied the quality of the hotel

Our surprise lunch for a family member, staff very helpful. Dietry needs catered for. Would have liked to have had a better dairy free butter. However i do appreciate food places are always looking to be updated on the subject. I am always happy to work with the chef to compromise with the menu. My family and i enjoyed our lunch dinner and breakfast. Made even more special by our waitress whose name we cannot remember. ( she wore pigtails). So helpful to our needs .

Lovely oldy world hotel in an ideal location not far from Tenterden. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed good food and a very comfortable room. Should we be visiting Tenterden again would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Friendly helpful reception and service from all staff. We felt very comfortable and at ease. Room was v clean, quiet, spacious and well fitted. Meals were high standand with tempting options. Highly recommend and plan to return.

Beautiful room, very comfortable, very clean in all areas, staff were pleasent and welcoming... in particular a young lady by the name of Lauren (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) breakfast was served at the table it was delicious and inclusive of the price. Excellent value for your money. My friend and i will be returning with a larger group next time

Shower pressure not great in room but I appreciate the difficulties with a building of this age

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel which well placed for when I visit the area for work reasons. Service is good, room is clean, breakfast good and good parking. It's quiet and good place to stay.

What is a bit of a let down for me is that after I finish work for the day, I like to come back and relax but then have to go back out to look for a place to eat as your own restaurant isn't open for dinner in the evenings. When I am next back working in that area I will possibly look for somewhere else.

Good breakfast dinner not available guest lounge fine and bar adequate. Parking fine and room access good. Hotel surrounds and garden attractive!

Our room was very dated. Vehicle access quite tight and could be made easier.

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable room relaxed and quiet. Breakfast very good. Plenty of parking.Staff welcoming, friendly and polite. Ideal for when I am working of that way.

Shame the restaurant is open for evening dinner and would have like the hot water to be a little hotter.

Big stain on carpet outside room 5 door., had discoloured carpet (gave impression of vomit stain due to colour!)Very off putting! Breakfast produce seemed supermarket standard.
