The room was very clean and the location of the inn is perfect just opposite the sea side. Being Friday night there was some live music - the staff said it will stop before midnight, it did indeed so we could have a proper rest.

The breakfast wasn’t the greatest, could do with more options, at least some scrambled eggs or something warm.

Hotel is in an excellent location, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly.

Not a dislike only an observation. We were aware the hotel restaurant was not available for dinner however we were not made aware on check in of any alternative eating places within the town and when we had freshened up and were heading out to eat we asked at reception where we could get a meal and they advised that everywhere closed at 7.00pm which was unfortunate. Maybe an idea for the reception staff to make guests aware of this on check in to avoid hungry guests when the restaurant is unavailable.

Great location and looked out towards Loch Broom. Room was very well presented and loved the sea kelp hand wash. Nice strong flow from the shower which was refreshing.

As has been said a lot in other reviews, the breakfast is underwhelming and is a basic continental offering. I guess it can be difficult to hire kitchen staff in the area and they are trying their best to make up for that, however I cant recall any mention that there were no options for bar meals. I enjoyed the hotel and would have been a real favourite if there were bar meal options, and I would have ended up a few beers worse for wear!

We spent only one night in Ullapool and am glad we made the decision to stay at the Arch Inn. The room was cozy and clean. We loved the view outside our room as it was facing the loch.

As we were on the ground floor, and facing the road, the noise from the patrons of the bar once they come out can be a bit noisy. Other than that, everything else was lovely.

This was the third time we stayed at The Arch Inn and it still deserves a 10. The view on the Loch, the location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the pleasant and down to earth attitude of the staff... It was splendid in 2018, in 2023 and hasn't changed a bit. While staying there, don't forget to visit the Seafood Shack (as good as it is told), the tiny Ceard-gallery, the Ullapool Museum and the surrounding hills.

It was a bit of a disappointment when the Inn informed us some time before our arrival that the restaurant was closed because of staff shortages. It had always been a treat to eat there.

The setting of the hotel is superb. The actual room was small but excellently presented - I think very recently renovated, so it looked brand new. Parking available outside the hotel (reserved for guests). The bar had a nice traditional pub atmosphere. Room was very warm for me, even in early March with the window open and radiator off.

Sadly, due to the inability to find chefs / cooks for the kitchen, there was no food available at the property, and breakfast was also hence very limited continental style. Can't imagine why people would not want to work in this stunning part of the company - I may retrain as a cook! My room also backed onto where the boiler chimney was, so when it was on (turned off over night) it was rather noisy with the window open.

The hotel is located right at the waterfront of Ullapool. The view out our room was excellent. The staff was friendly. There is a pub in the building, which is nice. There's no hot food available at the hotel but the continental breakfast was really good. The room was well equipped, we especially enjoyed the complementary Nespresso and Hot Chocolate in the room. Free parking is available right in front of the hotel.

The family room we had booked in advance was not available upon arrival. Staff was very friendly though, organised two travel cots and gave us a discount to compensate for it. If you're sensitive to noise, the enclosed pub can be a disadvantage.

Breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable and clean.

Internet was patchy.

The breakfast was perfectly adequate and we enjoyed it but would have liked a hot breakfast option. The location was great and the room was very quiet. I loved the bath and there was loads of hot water. The staff were very friendly. Good to have free parking just opposite. The view from the room was lovely and there were lots of eating out options close by.

There wasn’t anything to dislike.

Really great location. The front of the establishment faces the bay, and its a great view. There are picnic tables along the waterfront that are for the Arch Inn, and are amazing to sit at with food or drink. They allow dogs in the pub, which i thought was great. The pub is also a good place. Lots of room, live music, very friendly staff, good atmosphere, quite a few locals also present which is a good sign. I only stayed the one night, but again the location is excellent. The layout of the Inn is also interesting, with the pub, courtyards, waterfront and rooms all so close to each other, and in a cozy, inviting way. Very close walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. I did not have the breakfast, but went to a local coffee shop for an early morning walk and coffee, I was right out the door of the Arch Inn and onto the waterfront, amazing. Great place to stay.

Careful where you park! Make sure to park in the area designated for Arch Inn guests. This place does not serve lunch/supper, which was disappointing, but i suppose it did make me go to other establishments and see other places. You can get food to go from other places, and bring the food back to the Arch Inn pub and eat in the pub. The room i had was very small and hot. I opened the window as much as I could, but it was still warmer than i was comfortable with, I was on the back of the building where it was hard to catch a breeze to the window it seemed.
