Closeness to a venue we wished to attend and the small charge fur our dogs

Would have liked a cooked breakfast as has been usual when breakfast included has been added, but the Indian restaurant next door supplied an excellent cooked breakfast.

The room was spacious and had a kettle with coffee, tea etc. The hotel reception staff (both day and night) were really friendly and helpful with great customer service skills. There’s a little cafe next door which had great, reasonably priced food with lovely staff awful. The bed sheets and towels were really great quality and the place as a whole was clean. They were great with our large breed dog too!

The shower taps and head were really outdated and poor ventilation in the bathrooms. A few hairs were still in the bathroom when we arrived and there was limescale at the bottom of the toilet.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms and other areas in the lodge very clean and well maintained. Comfortable spacious bed, towels were nicely soft. Complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, body wash etc. which is an always appreciated, plenty of coffee and tea refreshments. Toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste etc as well as crisps, soft drinks, water and other refreshments could be purchased from Reception at reasonable prices. Breakfast (continental) was very good and plenty. Location was perfect! Quiet and peaceful

We liked everything, however not enough seating at breakfast

As with previous stays at this hotel, I requested a quiet room on top floor (there are only 2 floors) at the far end of the corridor away from the stairs and public traffic. As always, my request was met and it was so quiet I had a great night's sleep with no disturbance whatsoever! A large room with sofa and large comfy bed. Electric heater so I could control how warm I wanted the room. Also the use of a microwave in the main lobby to heat an evening meal was convenient. The parking is free which is getting harder to find with hotels. Also a continental breakfast included. All in all, very good value for under £60.

The bathroom was a bit dated with some rust around the taps. Bit weird eating breakfast in the main lobby, but the hotel is quiet enough for this not to be a problem.

Very large room, everything works. High level of privacy, garden view, amenities (coffee shop, garage with Londis Shop). Reception friendly, laid back vibe. Countryside location in Rutland with beautiful views from the front door.

Only small niggles - no sockets by the beds. Best to bring an extension lead. I have twice stayed a week and the rooms aren't cleaned or towels refreshed, during that time, although my guess is this could happen on request.

Third time I have stayed at the same property and all three times I requested a quiet room on 1st floor away from the stairs....and that is exactly what I got!! Excellent communication and very accommodating staff. Very quiet nights sleep and good continental breakfast. Hot shower, clean room, good fast wifi and comfy bed. Also the parking was free, not like a lot of expensive hotels that charge parking on top. Overall very good value for money.

Seems a bit strange eating breakfast in the main lobby, but not uncomfortable, as the hotel was quiet mid week so it was no problem. Breakfast is between 6am and 9am. It would be better if breakfast was served for a bit longer, say until 10am, as you could then have a bit of a lie in if not in a hurry to leave, as check out is up until 11am.

Very good value for Money for area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is continental and not a cooked breakfast so that's why prices are kept low. Plenty of options Cereal, Juice, Toast Fruit and Tea, Coffee. No restrictions on amounts as self service Room very clean and TV larger than some places I have stayed in. Had a good nights sleep as property is set back from the main road. Snacks from the garage nearby or Indian restaurant next door Yes there was an issue with water in the morning when I stayed for 2 nights but they did call out the plumber and it was sorted by the evening. Not the staffs fault and these things happen

Nothing it was all good regardless of water issue that was addressed in a timely manner

Great location. Friendly staff.. Comfy bed. The complimentary continental breakfast had a good selection.. Lovely fresh linen and towels. Great for a Bridget Hotel. There's also a cafe and bar next door which I didn't visir

Noise does travel a little down the corridors but it wasn't a problem. There was a bit of a odd smell in the room but once I left the windows open it was ok. It may be the air freshener they use. The seal around the bath needed replacing but apart from that everything was good

Stayed several times before and always request a room at far end of corridor as it's quieter. Redwings always meet my request and it's so quiet I always have an excellent night's sleep. Very comfy bed and room temperature just right. Good continental breakfast, nice hot shower. Also parking and WiFi is included in price.

Bit weird having breakfast in the main lobby area. Would be better if they lost a room near the entrance and used that as the breakfast room. Drain smell in ensuite and rust around the bath taps.

Second time I stayed within a few weeks. Both times I requested a room on top floor away from stairs etc as I am a very light sleeper. Both times the hotel honoured my request and gave me a big room at the very far end of the top floor (room 24). It was so quiet that I had the best night's sleep in ages. Fan supplied if too hot and heater supplied if too cold. Extra pillows and bedding supplied. Very clean bed, kettle and mugs. Large sofa also in the room. Good hot shower. Simple breakfast (toast, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, juice, tea/coffee) included in price. Free parking unlike some more expensive hotels that charge parking as extra! Also use of microwave/cutlery/crockery in the lobby free of charge if you wanted to heat up a meal and bring it back to your room.

The ensuite is a bit tired. Rust around the taps and on shower rails etc. Fan didn't work and funny smell from drains. Room is good, but ensuite could do with a makeover to clean it up and get it fresh. Feels weird eating breakfast in the reception lobby!
