This hotel is a VERY pleasant surprise. It is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly, it's centrally located downtown in an area that is gentrifying but very safe to walk to. There was a farmers market on a block away on the Saturday i was there that I stumbled over. A new ice cream shop with homemade ice cream is two blocks away and the best ice cream I've ever had. It's called Buzzed Bull Creamery and it's expensive but worth every penny. A funky gallery featuring 80 hometown artists is a few steps down. The only negative is there was no publiclty at the hotel about the farmers market etc. so perhaps the local vendors need to go introduce themselves to the staff and drop off flyers. Mattress was high quality, sheets high quality, rooms clean, staff fantastic, just a great experience.

Breakfast buffet woudl be nice but was not available and of course, no parking.

The staff was super nice and always willing to help. They were knowledgeable about the surrounding area and knew answers to any questions I had.

With this location having a bar on the top floor the parking was first come first serve. Therefore, people that were actually staying at the hotel had to park down the street because the parking at the hotel was taken by bar goers. Seems like there should be a section of the parking that is for guest of the hotel only. Seeing as I am paying to stay there I should have a safe place to park. Instead I had to pay to stay and pay extra to park because I didn't want to park 3 blocks away.

Parking! Once spots are gone, they are gone. Had to pay extra for parking across the street in a parking deck. Parking only had a few spots. Also did not have access to the pool due to remodeling. Also you could hear a little construction in the lobby.

The hotel was centrally located to all the places we were going. Staff was friendly, courteous, and informational when we had questions. Parking is free.

Additional parking is needed since the hotel hosts social nights for everyone to attend. The parking lot fills up quickly. So if you're a guest and you come back late, you will have to park somewhere else.

The staff was awesome and they allowed us to check in a little early. Super comfy. Will be back. Love the MCM round design. What a gem! Can’t wait to see the lobby renovations that were in progress during our stay.

The bar closed at 11. We went to a show at the Saenger and by the time the show was over the bar was closed. Disappointed with that.

The pool was nice and the rooms were great. The grandkids loved the bathtub. Both of them could fit at the same time. I loved that the staff worked hard to get us an adjoining room, when she did not have to do that. It was nice to have the grandkids close to us though. They got to run from room to room. Which was convenient especially since we were trying to get ready for a graduation.

That they did not have a breakfast. We had to leave and go down the block to Hardee’s. Also, someone tried to steal my husband battery out of the back of his truck until they realized it wasn’t any good.

I enjoyed the Sky lounge on Friday night but Saturday night was horrible the live musican was horrible and it made it very dull!!

Didn't like the live music singer/ bathroom shower is tiny, toilet to close to the door no room for movement inside bathroom,water doesn't drain out fast enough when showering!!

The hotel was extremely clean! The beds were also very comfortable. I slept like a baby.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the tub did not drain good when showering. It was backing up. Outside of that, I really enjoyed my stay. Room #408 to be exact.

The hotel location was preferred for what we needed, building was lovely and grand we would have used the swimming pool on the third floor if it day was hotter.

I felt a bit cheated because the room I booked with breakfast included for three people. The room can sleep four people but they only gave coupons for two people, so the third person had to paid extra for their breakfast.

A great hotel to stay at for events at the Mobile Civic Center [0.2 mile] & strolling Dauphin Street [0.2 mile]! The hotel was open, clean, & the staff were kind! We especially enjoyed having a restaurant & lounge within the hotel!

The only disappointment was the pool was closed - which is necessary if it need be. If visiting, on-site [free] parking is limited - but there is a reasonably priced parking garage right across the street.
