Breakfast is minimal, cereals, milk, coffee, muffins and waffles made by guests. No fruit, no eggs, kind of buffet for back packer types. Coffee, tea, etc. One good thing is that it is available at 5 am. Another excellent thing about Puffin Inn is that their airport shuttle, free, goes to airport every half hour for 24 hrs, if people want to go.

I don't like those noisy air blowing heaters on the wall. Would prefer radiators, quiet and not drying the air so much as the blower type wall heaters

It was a great location--a five minute drive from the airport, within walking distance if plenty of restaurants and a convenience store, and bus stops in either direction right in front. The room was decent for a place to rest for the night. The bed was comfortable and the pillows weren't too soft that my head sinks into them.

The bathroom really small. The breakfast was disappointing--I've had better at other hotels.

Our first initial room, a king bed was not something that fit the main description of our booking which was two queen beds, so they moved us to a different room which was a much better room since the first room smelled like cigarettes even if it was a nonsmoking room. We got moved to a room that was more luxurious.

First room we were placed in was marked as a nonsmoking room but when we went inside, it smelled like cigarettes really bad and I have very bad asthma.

I always love staying at the Puffin Inn! This time I was given an apartment outside of the main building so I was super excited. I also liked that I could park my car in front of my room and I didn't have to go back into the main building.

I had problems with the cable and oftentimes it would not function. The staff was amazing and tried to help and even offered another room but I was only there for the night so I stayed. Everyone was amazing as always.

I always enjoy coming to the Puffin Inn. Everyone is always so friendly even when things get overwhelming or hectic. I loved that when my plane came in earlier than expected, the front desk associate didn't keep me waiting and placed me in an available room. The room was super big for just me BUT I remained thankful and just stayed in the space and kept it neat. First time I was on the 3rd floor and was excited to have access to an elevator.

The room was convient. Because it has an airport shuttle. I needed a full day of rest and Puffin Inn has a discount for employees that work on the North Slope. The contential breakfast is convient. For those who have little money, the contential breakfast is nice to have.

Too much noise. I could hear noise in the hallways. After a long trip I would have liked a little more quiet time. I was able to get rest, but would have been nice to have the hallways quiet. Next time I'll ask for a room at the end of the hallway.

The Puffin Inn has an Airport Pick-up Shuttle Bus that took us to the hotel. They also took us back to the airport the next day. The facilities were in a location near the airport that fit our need. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. There were several restaurants nearby and within walking distance.

I am grateful to the staff for helping my friends and I stay safe. They made sure we felt comfortable and safe. We didn’t know much about the area so it was nice someone was looking out for us. They also fixed our rooms issue. The staff was helpful in getting shuttle for us on time.

the staff is nice, the area is at a great location for our activities and the amenities are good for what we paid.

the room pictured was not at all the layout of the room we were given. the one in the pictures was more spacious and seemed to be a corner room. our room was not a corner and had significantly less floor space then the photo implied.

Room size was very large. Beds were excellent. Not directly on the lake, but just a short walk. No restaurant, so we walked over to the lakefront hotel to eat. Good value. Our family of 6 fit into a single room, we saved a lot of money this way.
