Close to airport

Noisy from planes taking off. Been at other hotel that close to an airport with much lass noise.

The facility was clean and nice. The room was nice and beds are comfortable. The shuttle from the airport and back is really a great benefit. Many of the other more expensive hotels do not run a shuttle to the airport and back. To have this is a very nice perk. It saves the patrons a few dollars and is so much more convenient that a taxi or uber.

Seeing as they are in Anchorage which is the hub for Alaska, it would be nice if the hotel had a cold storage facility. There are a few other places in Anchorage that have this available for those who are fisherman and hunters. I travel for work and must carry my own food to my work place. Most of it is frozen. It is nice to be able to put it in cold storage. I realize this is a luxury per say, but it is to have.

This hotel is very cozy and convenient when you're in between flights. It's a slightly older hotel but it's kept up nicely. We needed a hotel with a 24 hour front desk because we were coming into Anchorage around 1am on our flight. I was surprised that their shuttle to and from the airport is also 24 hours. Made it easy so we didn't have to rent a car. The check in process was easy. There's a little snack shop downstairs if you need something quick. I enjoy the cabin feel of the decor as well

I’m so appreciative you have a pool, even though I couldn’t use it this time — I love a pool. Also, the room was spacious and clean. Love your bulk shampoo/conditioner in the shower. Breakfast was better than expected — friendly staff, seemingly real eggs, good variety, decent coffee. Also, the parking lot was well-maintained.

Pool could open a little earlier in the AM, like 7 or 8 am. I couldn’t use it this trip because it t wasn’t open yet. Also…we would stay there more often if you were pet friendly.

Staff were welcoming , helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was clean and well prepared with clean towels etc. The room had everything you could need and anything that wasn’t there then the front desk staff could arrange. Breakfast was nice and had plenty to choose from. Staff member on the desk could have not been more helpful.

The only negative I had was that the hallways and lift could have been cleaner. Just needs extra attention with a hoover.

We appreciated the variety of food choices, breakfast availability hours were great ! This made our mornings relaxing.(Who wants to rush around in morning?) The only thing that was disappointing was the coffee-not much flavor and a bit muddy. Could be the company you have contracted with?

The staff was amazing, friendly, responsive, just overall great attitudes, which made our experience Comfortable! Although there was one desk clerk (long hair, glasses, older woman) who was not very personable, was short /curt with other folks. (Maybe-she had a few difficult days?) Not very friendly.

We love it! The staff is wonderful. They are able to accommodate world travelers as Alaska is a beautiful destination. It is close to the airport. The shuttle is very reliable. We always stay here when coming to Alaska

I know it is the main tourist season, but the prices were higher than they have been during our last visits. That may be due to changes in the USA as we were coming from Costa Rica.

I didn't get the young ladies name at the desk, but she was exceptional. When asked for a place to eat she walked me outside to show me the route to make sure we got there. She assisted with my challenge to call an Uber. The young man yesterday morning assisted with getting us two taxies to our next location.

The price seemed higher than what we're used to. Probably due to the area, not sure.

The breakfast was convenient and timely. There was also a reasonable variety of food. I was able to get a granola bar and some fresh fruit to take for lunch to my client's location, saving me time, energy and money. The rooms were well kept. Continuous hot coffee was also an advantage.

The steam iron leaked. I didn't have any competition for the gym--thankfully--as it's very small.

Breakfast was nice, room was very clean and the room bathroom was great, with a large counter top. The room was quiet and so cozy, and spacious with a couch, fridge, iron, and microwave. The FREE hotel shuttle to and from the airport was also soooooooo great and convenient! Downtown Anchorage for shopping, dining, and exploring was only a short Lyft or Uber drive away from the hotel too. Very convenient location near airport and downtown. I will stay here again and highly recommend!!

I liked everything, but just wished breakfast was offered until 10 am instead of 9:30 am, but it still worked out great.
