I was unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised by my stay at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites but it might very well be one of Anchorage's best kept secrets😁 It was actually my best experience of any of the hotels (or motels), I stayed at during my week in Alaska (Anchorage and Palmer). I was given a hugely spacious room (which, was actually a self-catering apartment suite). My experience was peaceful during the time I was there. The hotel provides a simple breakfast and a free shuttle service to the Ted Stevens International airport (which, is only a convenient 10 minute journey from the hotel on Spenard Road). There are a number of additional food services nearby (within walking distance; including, a lovely, cozy little Cafe/bookstore which, I visited on one drizzly afternoon whilst I was there).

The only downfall was the general cleanliness of the hotel but I feel like a good supply of hand sanitiser was able to neutralise that issue. Other than that, the hotel offers a great service, fantastic value for money and is in a convenient location. I would definitely book a return stay😊

1. No room at breakfast area and we had to take our food back to our room to eat. 2. No restroom near the lobby - basically there was no access to restroom when we arrived, we had to wait until we got our room, waiting for over 20 minutes. 3. We were told initially, with two other groups (one other with booking.com) that their computer didn't show any evidence of our reservation, even with printed documentation showing confirmations.

The convenient location to the airport and a complimentary airport shuttle is why I booked here. It is a no frills motel, but the staff was absolutely AMAZING! They are courteous, helpful and go out of their way to accommodate and that's very difficult to find these days.

The facility is old and could use some updates, but the room was clean, it was comfortable, and ultra convenient location to the airport.

Everything. Just didn't like being double charged at other platforms Bookings com and hotel. But they were quick to resolve problems.... If you have evidence. Make sure you check your transactions. Quiet place. But you can hear the water flowing as in flushing toilets from neighbors Other than that, it's quiet.

If they had pots and pans to cook with for the amenities they have. It was perfect for our needs even just for a night. My stomach is not that great for what I don't see cooking. (Lactose intolerant) I have to see and watch. If they had some kind of pan and pot we'd be great off.

We really liked the location and convenience of having a free transfer from the airport. The staff helped us a lot after arriving late from our delayed flight. The facilities are adequate and functional for a one night stay. We were happy with our breakfast: fruit, eggs, big muffins and cereals.There is also a mcdonalds right outside the door.

The hotel would benefit from a renovation.

The host at the front desk was super friendly and our driver Freddie in the morning to the airport was a life saver with his airport knowledge 😀

The hotel looked like it had fire damage or some kind of construction issue, so was not appearance wise very appealing!

The shuttle service from the airport was very efficient our flight didn't get it until 3:00 a.m. in the morning the beds in the room were comfortable but the rest of the room was quite shabby

The room was very shabby the whole hotel inside hallways carpeting everything was completely shabby but the beds were comfortable we were there just to sleep and the sheets were clean

Too much noises if you live at first floor you can hear all the stomping and runnIng noises everywhere, days and nights cause I was there for 3 days vaccay

The centralized location and the room rate.

The burnt down building in the front, no continental breakfast like the booking site that I booked my reservation on. And their floors weir very dirty, other than that, was a very pleasant stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was bigger than I expected. The bed was comfortable. The staff was kind. There is a McDonald's right next door.

The hotel is under construction, so the outside look could make one question the inside conditions. The shower ceiling was low. I am 5'9. Anyone taller than 6 feet would have difficulty.
