The resort is beautiful and its history is rich. The pools were nicely heated and numerous

I made reservations for myself and our three adult children and their families. I had given the names of the children at the front desk, but when each of them arrived, they were told there was no room under their name. Ranata's Hearth is a lovely restaurant. The wait staff were attentive, but there weren't enough of them. We had a long delay waiting for our reserved tables. (Apparently there had been a snafu with the reservation system). The menu was interesting but I found several of the dishes to be overly salted.

Had a problem with Room when we came back the evening and taken a long time to resolve and move us to a new room that evening. The next morning at Front Desk, Antonio assisted and resolved the issue with a upgrade to one of the Villas for the rest of the stay. Definitely made up for the poor service we received the evening.

Their check in can approve with holding an amount on your credit card. They taken more than double the amount for the stay and I’m still busy sorting it out, even after the full amount was deducted for the stay.

Beautiful facility the breakfast was limited, but it was a beautiful place and a comfortable place people tried to help. I am very glad there were many watchful eyes at the swimming pool for children. The heat was amazingly strong and the folks let us stay a period of time till we got things in order as our luggage was lost

It would’ve been nice if they had guided us to our unit because it was difficult to find as we were not familiar with the property that would’ve been beneficial for us and I’m sure it would be beneficial for others arriving in the night

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has many options for lounging and just enjoying the atmosphere. Food options are limited, so if you want different varieties you should have a car to be able to leave. There are 7 pools, although I only saw two, and they were nice pool areas. Everyone just relaxing and no crazy loud parties.

It’s not a ‘dislike’, but I was the only one to point this out, so it’s worth mentioning. With 7 pools, and it being in Phoenix (!), there should be enough lounge chairs and chairs with umbrellas. People go out super early and ‘reserve’ chairs with their towels and by 8/9 AM there are no more chairs to use. I’m talking about there being 2 people at the pool at 8AM and ALL the chairs have towels on them.

Mary at the concierge desk was extremely helpful and kind. I really wish we could have talked to her at the beginning of our stay to get some useful information. The facilities were very clean.

The long walk to and from the garage was pretty horrible carrying heavy luggage in the heat. It would have been nice to know we could have got a ride in the carts and also walk through that in between building. The lack of signage and visibility of how to get through the Biltmore (in a car) could have been A LOT better. That place is a maze.

Everything about this place is amazing. Great good, pools open 24 hours, amazing room, comfortable beds.

Too many mosquitoes at the pool. Also, the parking situation sucks. You have to park on one side of the property then walk like half a mile to your room. Not easy with bags. Most people just valet but if you have any really fragile items or kids it can be difficult.

Loved the property, outdoor decor and flowers, and how huge it was. I also received exceptional service, and felt like everyone was genuinely so kind. The slides were a hit with my daughter!

Hidden fees and automatic gratuity without asking,. That also is deceptive in how the tip showed up for room service.

Stunning architecture and landscape. The attention to aesthetic detail was impressive. Loved the saline pool water & the pool by our room was beautiful. The water slide at the big pool was a blast for my daughter and me. The fitness center was spacious, cool, and full of high end equipment. It was clean, which unfortunately is not always a given in hotels. And we really appreciated 24/7 pool & workout facility access. Every employee went above & beyond to make us feel welcome and assist us. We felt like we were getting the royal treatment.

More misting machines please! And better mattresses would great. (Not a horrible mattress but could definitely feel I wasn’t on my Tempur -pedic at home.)

Huge and immaculately maintained. Excellent facilities.

Our room, in the garden wing, was oddly configured. On entering the room, one first walks past (through) the bathroom which has no door. When we return, we will ask not to stay in the garden wing.

The service and quality of the food was fantastic. A particular waitress and hostess who worked every morning during breakfast while we were there, made us feel at home. They provided great conversations and information about the surrounding area.

We attempted to get massages multiple times, however, never received a return phone call. So, we ended up going to another property and spent almost $3k on massages at a different resort. Hope to have a better experience next time.
