This accommodation is perfect for a solo traveller/couple who like their own space. I prefer the apartment style hotels to a more “traditional” hotel, and this Sonder also has a gorgeous pool and pretty decently equipped gym. The room itself had everything you could need, with top of the range kit equipment, a nice balcony, a small living space and a small bedroom. Personally, I love a firm bed so it was absolutely perfect. Plenty of storage AND a washing machine and dryer. The check-in system is easy once you get your head around all the numbers and fobs, and the customer service team via the app were great.

The reason I didn’t give it a 10 out of 10 was purely because down to the local area. There isn’t loads to do in the immediate vicinity – it’s not too far to walk towards the city centre (I think I did it in 15 to 20 minutes) but some people may not feel comfortable doing this, especially at night. There is also quite a large homeless community in the area - I had NO problems whatsoever but it may make some travellers feel less safe. However – I would expect this in any major US city! Would definitely stay here again, especially if the price stays as affordable.

The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and downtown Phoenix. It was clean, comfortable and when we had an issue with the air conditioner, the staff quickly responded and fixed it. The instructions to access the property were clear. We would definitely stay here again.

Prior to booking, having more clarity regarding parking. While street parking is available, it is limited and you most likely will need to park in the garage, which adds $10 per day. For a short term rental, it’s not a problem. A longer term rental would add $300 to a month stay.

We rented a studio apartment and the space was ample. We had all of the expected amentities. We were just 5 blocks from teh main street of th4e Arts District so we could easily walk to restaurants and galleries. Yoiu are right off the interstate but it goes underneath the city here and we couldn't really hear it. We were very concerned about the parking situation but there was ample and reasonably priced parking in the buildings parking ramp ($10 a day). We would stay here again. The building is quite a labrynth so bring bags you can roll or carry easily.

I loved the place — super secure, and well located right in the middle of downtown Phoenix. It's easy to get around with access to public transportation, including the rail and buses, or using Uber. The space was fantastic, and everything was well-maintained.

The check-in process could’ve been smoother. When we first arrived, the access code to the Sonder didn’t work, which was frustrating. Thankfully, a staff member came to help, but it took about an hour. Also, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working for a day, which was an issue for us, especially since it was down in all of Phoenix that day. It would’ve been great to have Wi-Fi available in the amenities as well, but overall it was okay.

Convenient location to Banner University Medical Center. Easy directions for self check-in. Clean apartment with full kitchen and basics included like coffee, tea, extra towels, and easily accessible parking (with paid permit).

The bed was hard and the sofa bed was uncomfortable with a thin mattress where you could feel the bar and a low spot in the middle. The wall was open at the top between the bedroom and living room, so there wasn't much privacy and quiet even with the barn door shut. The bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom as well. So while there wasn't complete privacy, it was better than sharing an open hotel room.

I enjoyed the pool and the unit. The unit was spacious and very clean and included laundry. Little extras like laundry pods, dish soap etc and coffee are included which was lovely. Well maintained building. Friendly staff. Nice big soaker tub.

The unit upstairs could always be heard walking and stomping. The pipes in the building make noises when people flush their toilet or shower. It’s a big building and the inside hallways are a bit confusing. Big numbers on the building would be helpful.

Nice furniture of the room with air conditioner. Perfect location. Pool for a cooling which was often empty or there where just a few other people. Gym, free coffee, billiard, table tennis and a lot of comfortable and quiet seating inside and outside. You could always find a parking space - in the evening you just had to park on a higher floor. Very secure access with chip and code at the door - we always felt very safe. Overall, it was very quiet there and you hardly noticed the other people living there. I can highly recommend the accommodation. If we had had any problems, there would have been someone on the first floor to talk to during the day.

The mattress was a bit hard, but the bed was very broad. A TV in the bedroom would have been great. The kitchen equipment was good, but pans would have been very practical and not just pots.

Spacious apartment fully equipped with all kitchen utensils, electrical goods, washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Well stocked gym and a sun trap courtyard. Excellent location- can walk downtown in about 30 mins. Very close to Roosevelt Row.

Bed was good for me- if you're a 6 footer and sharing a bed, spring for the bigger one as a couple would struggle. There is no cable TV, but there is a Chromecast box you can stream from. These were not issues for me- really enjoyed my apartment.

Although the checking process was a bit complex because it was without human interaction, the instructions in the app were very clear and we didn't have any issues. You get everything you need in the apartment, a washing machine, a drier, a TV with a Chromecast (that actually works), and even small bottles of olive oil.

It was a bit smelly when we first arrived and you can't open the window. If you cook it gets a bit unpleasant as you can't ventilate the room well. In order to check in you have to upload an ID and go through a process of biometric verification which felt a bit weird and unsafe.

Very tall ceilings and just a really beautiful studio. Loved the common areas too! Plenty of space outside the room to sit and relax or socialize. HUGE gym. Everything looked brand new! Really top notch. Super comfy bed and quiet AC. Very quiet neighborhood and quiet inside the building too. I absolutely loved it!!! 💯 Would re-book!

Long walk from the key retrieval spot to the room. I was expecting a room on a higher level with a private balcony with a clear view of the city but my studio was on the first floor with a patio that had a very indirect view of the skyline mostly blocked by trees.
