There is no ice machine, but clerk, brought us a bucket of ice from their personal fridge.

We stay at this location frequently. When we made reservation, there is a spot to ask motel if any special requests. We asked for a handicapped room as hubby needs more room, they called us on the way over to see what time we would be there and I mentioned it, and when we got there I mentioned it again. We've gone through this process before with no issues. They said the room was already taken. Why could they not have let us know, by email that handicapped room was not available. We could have perhaps made other arrangements. Clerk did offer to cancel at no charge but by then it was too late to find other arrangements.

The room was clean. The bed was nice. It was mostly quiet except for the person next to my room. Putting the ac on helped with that. The staff were nice. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

I didn’t care for the taste of the water. So I went and bought water bottles. Other than that it was really a great stay.

Would have given a 9 if not for one issue: the bathtub was so slippery that when showering had to lay down a towel so we wouldn't slip!

The family running the location is very friendly and always willing to help in any way they can. The location was perfect because it was only a few blocks from downtown Arroyo Grande (and my favorite burger joint “Old Village Grill”) and it gave my family and I a chance to get out and walk around. Plus it was close enough to the freeways and the main road if I wanted to go anywhere else.

Great value for the price. Very clean. Functional. Wifi works. HOT showers :). Effective temperature control. Comfortable bed.

Kind of noisy but nothing ear plugs can't handle.

No comfortable place to sit, just 2 straight back chairs. Only 2 pillows. And the base boards as well as carpet by the baseboards was dirty. I did not find the mattress comfortable and we only had 1 blanket, no extra blanket.

It was quaint and quiet .

The handicap spot was in an odd location. A big truck was parked in it. Even though there was a spot in front of their room . It made it difficult to back out of the spot that most folks were parked in.

Clean, with very basic amenities. A very large room with comfy bed. AC worked great! Quiet little motel, easily walk to the quaint downtown Village area!

Parking is pretty tight, I was glad we didn't take my full size pickup on this trip.

Showers are very small and rooms beds are very uncomfortable needs brighter lighting

Liked it was quite . Loved the location close to everything. Also the flowers up front made it feel warm and inviting. The staff was great .
