It was in a great location near the train station (walking distance), close to Pismo Beach and a lot of restaurants to try. The best part was the owners/managers, they were so accommodating, pleasant and nice…they made sure we were happy with our stay. I asked for the second level because I’m a light sleeper and they gave us exactly that. The room was large and spacious. Comfortable bed and a good place to lay our head and very affordable compared to all the other hotels close by.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction and street work going around the property, so not the normal situation I’m sure. The place needs a facelift and updating, but if you’re looking for an affordable and a good place to lay your head to explore the area, this would be your place.

I have been coming to Seaview Inn for a decade. It’s where I escape when I need to get away. The owners are two of the most incredible people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. When traveling alone, I know I’m safe. I have friends and family from all over visit me in CA and I always take them to the coast and to Seaview. Excellent walking neighborhood, great restaurants/shops nearby, dunes a few blocks away. Thank you Seaview Inn for an awesome ten years with you and see you soon!

The room was big an clean. The position is 10 min walking from the Amtrack station, and 15 minutes front the beach and the Ocean. The area is safe but there's nobody's around (apart the beach). The staff is nice. THe area is served by buses.

Don't drink the water in the motel, it smells of mould. Not many things to do in the area apart beach.

The staff met and exceeded all our needs and were always available. The room and location were very good, well maintained, and with a reasonable price. There were many great restaurants nearby.

We had no complaints about this motel and would come again when we are in the area.

Close to the ocean. My room faced the street, but it was very quiet. Good size room, bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower had steady hot water. Some strange quirks, but it was clean and quiet.

There were light switches everywhere BUT you walk into a dark room and there is no switch right next to the door. It's on the wall by the television. No AC unit, but there was a stand up fan. Heater kept popping on.

Squeeky clean property and low traffic area. Rooms were perfect to shower, sleep, and breakfast to head out for the day on the shore. Lovely little place not too far from the pier and downtown scene. I'd say a short half a mile walk. It was a silent night because it's not too close to the nightlife in the area with the bars and clubs so we slept soundly. Room had everything we needed. Owners were sweet and helpful.

Location was amazing. I didn’t need to drive to the beach. Also so many restaurants all within walking distance of the motel. Front staff were so friendly and welcoming.

There was a strong detergent smell that didn’t go away the 2 days I was there.

I have stayed at multiple locations on the Central Coast, all the way to the most posh. Well, I stopped doing that and for nearly a decade I have only stayed at Seaview Inn. I know when I am alone or I bring my friends or family we will be safe, it’s always clean, and close to everything I love to do. Mostly, the owners hold a special place in my heart, they are kind, generous, and so very accommodating. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Great little motel for the value. It was nice that we were given an early checkin so we could get on with our day/night of visiting friends who were camped near by.

We somehow missed getting a maid service between nights of our 2 night stay.
