Booked this last minute and was fortunate to get their last room. It may be a budget motel but I think it's lovely. Very cute and modern beach themed room. Comfy, soft bed. In the alcove where the micro and mini fridge are there is a counter top about 4 feet long. Plenty of space to place your toiletries, etc. Large mirror for styling your hair and applying make up. You can do small food/snack prep and fix your coffee as well. They have a Keurig, which is nice. There is an outdoor firepit/sand area with plenty of seating. I'm sad we didn't have time to enjoy it. We’ve stayed here several times and don’t have anything negative to say. We will return for future stays when we aren’t taking our trailer to camp. A no frills clean motel with comfy beds. Friendly, helpful front desk. Convenient location for us to walk to breakfast at Penny’s All American Diner, several other options along that route too. Rosa’s Italian Restaurant is next door and we sometimes enjoy a great dinner or maybe just some of their yummy bread and a glass of wine. Not too far for us to enjoy a walk down to the boardwalk and pier and sometimes to Pismo Coast Village to visit friends and family who may be staying there. An all around great place to stay!

Starting off with the ONLY negative thing. The driveway to enter the property is very steep and bad for low cars like mine. I did scrape it. Everyone thing else was GOOD! The bed was very comfortable (soft good for side sleepers), the shower was great, bathroom was clean, room was clean (NO hair!!) mini fridge, coffee maker, room seemed newish (nice floors), double locks on the door, double curtains for darkness, price was fair, there was enough parking, front desk lady was nice, and you can text her for anything instead of having to call or walk up to the office. My dog also got free treats and poop bags. Dog fee is $25 a night. They have a nice outdoor area for your leashed dogs to go potty (real grass!). 9.9/10 would stay here again.

Steep driveway

Best bang for your buck. Arrived late at night in the dark and was pleasantly surprised when I Woke up in the morning and saw the ocean a long rock throwaway from where I was standing in the parking lot!! Park and walk. Everything is so close and such a lovely beach town vibe. Rooms were decorated appropriately for a beach visit. Plus, had all the amenities you would need. And my service dog got her favorite sweet potato treat from the front desk👍. The front desk clerk was amazing, warm and accommodating, And I was especially impressed with the gentleman who takes care of the yard area and gardening. The flowers smelled lovely and you could tell he loved what he does…. It wasn’t just a job!

No complaints

Everything! Hotel sends you messages looking forward to your arrival. Staff were friendly & welcoming. The rooms were very spacious & beds were big! Beds were super comfortable & rooms were very clean. In the parking lot there is a nice little fire pit you can cuddle up to! Yes it’s right off the “freeway” but for the most part it was very quiet. We went for our anniversary (July 3) so even with all the hectic & chaos of people traveling, this spot was perfect! We walked from the hotel to the beach (maybe a 5-10 minute walk). Even watched the fireworks from the hotel to beat the crowded beach. This hotel was just perfect. Loved being there & would highly recommend your next stay being there as well. We will definitely be back!

The bed and pillows were really comfy and the room was overall clean. It was nice staying here for Fourth of July since it’s a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and right next to the freeway.

It could be because everyone was using it but the AC wouldn’t stay on when it was on the “cool” setting. It would only stay on with the “fan” setting but the room wouldn’t get cold to the temp you want to set. Also, the lotion provided at the sink smelled old.

The staff was very friendly. Also we had our dog with us and they gave us a bag of treats and a poop bag holder! So sweet, our dog loved them. We liked that it was walking distance to anywhere and a nice neighborhood. The room was clean and cute.

We didn't like that there was no snacks available or to purchase. Also the noise from the freeway can get a little loud. The parking was a little cramped. There is a grass area for the dogs but it needs to be mowed and unfortunately some people do not pick up after there dogs. Maybe cleaning that area up it would make it easier to spot landmines...lol..

Returning guest here (2nd visit) +Location is very centralized and you can walk to the beach or Downtown Pismo within a couple minutes +Pricing is very affordable for the amenities and area +It's a clean, cozy, and updated motel; the room was very spacious +Pet friendly +It has a lawn area for the pups to roam around and take care of their business +Room came with all the necessities needed like soap/shampoo/lotion, hair dryer, ironing board, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge +It looks like they are developing their outdoor area, which had some patio furniture and a shaded area +Check in and check out was a breeze and the front desk staff and manager were nice +I love how they send reminders via text before closing time and to send out notifications. I find that pretty rare for hotels, let alone motels, so that was a nice touch

I had a great 3 night stay at this motel. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and had everything I needed for a nice holiday in Pismo. It is close enough to walk to restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. Pismo is a safe city to walk around and as a solo traveler I was happy enough walking around at night as well as daytime. I would stay here again, as it was good value for money in comparison to other places near by.

The room decor was great. The room size was perfect very comfortable and very good value for the price of the room. Hotel is a great location and even the patio outside is really nice for smoking or just hanging out with friends.

More shading or protection from the rain over the outside patio area would be nice. There are some tarps kind of set up at the top, but some water still leaks through and it was raining at the time but that is a little concerned because most of my time was not spent there nor did I see a lot of people over there during my day, but it was raining and I’m sure it doesn’t rain all that often. That is the only thing, but otherwise everything else was beyond my expectations.
