We have stayed for one night while travelling to San Francisco. The lady on the front desk was super nice and helpful. She gave us a map of town and marked every spot that we can check on. Also gave us notice of closed roads and advised us a route to travel safely to San Francisco. We have booked king room ocean view with patio and it was amazing. The view from the patio was gorgeous. The bathroom was spacious with both bathtub and shower. Water pressure wasn’t the best, but better than our expectations. Guest amenities had good quality. The mattress was the best that we have slept on in US. I had the best night sleep. Pillows were also so fluffy and everything was extremely clean. We have got a breakfast menu while checking in and marked the combo that we would like to have and written the time that we would like to be served. Our breakfast has served just on time and it was great. I liked the concept of having breakfast in room, other than having in a crowded, smelly breakfast room. There were complimentary water, tea and coffee pods. We enjoyed having a cup of coffee in our patio. There was also free coffee and tea at reception area. We got our second cups before leaving. There was also binoculars in room to observe surroundings. There was a walking trail across the road which was lovely to have a morning hike near ocean and greet locals. The town was unexpectedly safe (if you are travelling from LA, you know what i mean). We even left some of our luggages in car during our stay. Parking lot was accessible from both front desk and our room. Our upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy. They were running and jumping for half an hour but fortunately they fell asleep before midnight. It’s not about the hotel but people… I have observed that people in US have no respect to others. Only downside of the town was there is nothing to do after 8 pm. All shops and restaurants were closed at 8 pm. So I recommend to stop by at market before they were closed.

VERY comfortable bed in a spacious room with a nice bath and friendly staff! We slept very well in the bed. However, especially the first night some noises were a bit disturbing from the washing machines in the next room and the ice machine in the hallway. This was probably because the lady at the reception was so kind to offer us a new room when we were not happy with the smell of the previous occupants of the room we were originally given.

The breakfast offered was a special one since you need to make a choice the day before between 6 ways of eggs on a wrap or a yoghurt but with no possibilities for modifying an option. Since all eggs choices where with cheese and the yoghurt was semi-frozen we didn't bother to order it the second morning and went somewhere else.

Very friendly staff, nice room with enormous and comfortable bed. The room is a bit small with 2 people and a suitcase but very nicely furnished and set up. In room coffee was not good but the coffee in the lobby is excellent. Great Adirondack chairs to watch the ocean/sunset and breakfast is limited but lovely. Two bottles of water in the room plus 2 delicious cookies. Room had a partial ocean view and was very quiet (except for road noise). Hotel does not have A/C but windows and fan made it very comfortable.

Amazing location with the beach front right outside. Also loved the yummy included breakfast options which are taken straight to our room at a specific time we got to choose from.

The lady at the front desk was initially a little rude. When we arrived at around 7:30PM the front desk had a note saying they will be back in 30 minutes so we went and had dinner. We came back around 8:20pm and almost missed our check in entirely as she was closing up reception to head home. Was shocked to think if we were any later we would have been stranded for the night. Closing check in early is one thing but not to ring a guest who hasn’t arrived yet is quite strange.

Sand Pebbles Inn in Cambria completely stole my heart. The rooms were not only spacious but also super adorable, thoughtfully designed and cozy, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The area itself is just dreamy. Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and just soak it all in. I truly wish we could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of charm, this place is an absolute gem.

Even though the experience was great! Their breakfast options were not as varied as I would've hoped. We stayed for 4 nights, and for breakfast, they offer mostly scramble eggs with ham, veggies or plant based chorizo and another option for yogurt parfait. I would have preferred an option for pancakes or waffles, but this is my personal preference. Also forgot to mention, they bring the breakfast to your room! I really enjoyed that.

Been here before, always Clean welcoming and comfy. New surprise to us is breakfast! Loved it! Love the easy access to the beach boardwalk and local eateries. Close enough to walk into town to shops and more restaurants. All rooms have an ocean view, this time we had a couch with a front view to the beautiful sea. The fireplace kept us warm, the pounding waves helped us sleep.

Considering the price, they really should upgrade the breakfast. A breakfast burrito or scramble delivered in a paper bag. Why not try a cute basket. Serve the breakfast with aside of fruit and bottles of orange juice instead of the child size juice cups with a pull back foil.Nice that it's delivered to your room.

The location was perfect. Kathleen at the front desk was always so nice to work with. Room was clean. We really enjoyed the sound of the waves while we slept and using the electric fireplace. We are frequent visitors to Cambria, but this was our first time at The Sand Pebble. We always go to The Sea Chest restaurant and it was just two doors down from our hotel. Perfect.

The location was ideal as it faced and was just a few steps from the water. The grounds and building were clean and inviting. The rooms were all one could ask for or need. They were attractive and had all the amenities one needed and more. All of the room - including the bathroom was spacious and in top shape. The breakfast was substantial and tasty. One could select from 3 choices and note the desired time of delivery. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the Sand Pebbles and plan to stay there again.
