Everything in this hotel was well-thought out to make their guests' stay comfortable and memorable. Loved the small touches such as pet food bowl, gift bag and special bed cover for guests arriving with pets. The breakfast basket delivered every morning was wonderful. Also liked the fact that it had a kitchenette and small patio in the back. Location was 10/10, beach is across the street and the town is a mile away. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the place is clean and well-kept. It was a perfect weekend getaway to get some R&R.

Such a relaxing stay! We watched the sunset and woke up to the sea! Staff was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! We had a wonderful light dinner and in the morning the breakfast basket was perfect to start our day. The leisurely walk down Moonstone Beach Boardwalk Trail was great and the views while walking were amazing. A staycation for one of us from Paso Robles and a vacation from Scottdale, AZ for the other. Couldn't ask for a better memory for two best friends for more than 40 years!

Everything! We loved this place! Great quaint picturesque place, right in front of moonstone beach! Super clean, great value: Rooms are modern, sleek and comfortable! With a dining area, kitchenette with a good size refrigerator, real china, fire place, bathtub and separate shower. No carpets, which is great for my allergies! Upon our check in we got a nice glass of wine as welcome and brownies! They have complementary coffee in the lobby throughout the day and brownies at 5pm! They deliver a charming basket with breakfast to your door every morning! What's more, while in the middle of our trip, we had to cancel another hotel and call this hotel directly to ask if they could accommodate us 1 night earlier, and they did! On our first night we asked for a recommendation on a dining place, they sent us to Madeline's a great French restaurant with great food and we even got a 10% discount! On our second night, we were tired and went to the bar they have on site, grabbed some food that was fresh and prepared right there! Brownies from the front desk and some wine and we could rest for the night with the fireplace on! On the morning of our check out, the hotel manager was extremely nice! I wanted to buy a couple of trinkets and he gave me those as a courtesy! I'm recommending this place to everyone and when we come back to Cambria, we'll definitively stay here!

Always a lovely breakfast basket: lemon cake, oat cake with raisins, bananas, apples, string cheese. We haul the basket to the Adirondack chairs with a blanket (supplied by the facility) and sip our coffee to watch to fog burn off over the ocean. The perfect start to any day.

As with anything today, it could always be cheaper to enjoy a get-away. There is an extra charge each night for the dog(s). I don't think the clean up for the dog is any more after the fourth day than the first, so I wish it was a less expensive, one-time pet fee.

It’s right across the street from the ocean and The boardwalk. The staff is very welcoming and they give you a coupon for a glass of wine when you check in . AND ITS GREAT WINE!!! They also serve cookies and brownies in the afternoon.

The breakfast basket was the same every morning for the 3 days we were there. 3x the exact same thing: String cheese Orange juice Coffee cake An orange

The rooms were clean and comfortable directly across the low traffic road from the beach. Plenty of seating for wave watching and the morning pastry and juice baskets were a delightful touch albeit a bit late for this early riser. Staff was friendly and accommodating and yes, as was described, they are extremely dog friendly.

No room makeup service provided as usual and customary, by request only (with an envelope for the expected remuneration) and after 3 nights.

I loved the breakfast baskets that came in the morning! The homemade breads were so delicious!

Although we loved the baskets, seeing more of a variety in the basket would have been nice. Plus our room was one of the only ones that didn’t have air conditioning and it was one of the hottest weeks of the summer. We had a patio and a fireplace which was nice, but the air conditioner would have been a nice bonus. Luckily we brought a fan with us and it wasn’t stifling.

Breakfast basket was a nice touch and very good. Location was amazing, I loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs drinking coffee and watching the beach ach morning. I loved the free wine social, it would have been nice it it was each night vs just once.

We had dinner once and the food portion and quality did not match the price.

When we discovered that my husband would not be able to step into the shower in our standard room, the staff were kind enough to let us move into a handicapped room as soon as it was available. Extra work for them, but no extra charge for us. - We don't travel with our dogs, but really enjoy watching the dogs that are staying at the Inn. - Most of all, we enjoy sitting outside at Cambria Shores Inn- The landscaping is nice. We sit on Adirondack chairs and watch the ocean, which is just across the street.

The breakfast basket did not serve our needs, as it came later than we wanted, but mostly, we preferred to go out for breakfast where we could get hot food and a good amount of protein to start the day. For those who want a light, leisurely breakfast, the basket has a nice selection of breads, fruits, and juice, complete with plates, glasses and cheerful cloth napkins.

Great location and view of the ocean. We really enjoyed the breakfast baskets in the morning. Very clever idea.

The only recommendation we have is to include fire pits in the outdoor seating area. We noticed that other hotels near by had these and would make for a relaxing evening enjoyment. Not a deal breaker, just a recommendation.
